Great family business doing all it can to keep the doors open. It now focuses on its pizza, which is excellent, and had to reduce the menu in September 2025-meaning no fried chicken. But the pizza is worth the stop along with the totally welcoming environment. Support local restaurants, please! read more

Eugene's Pizza - Takeaway or eat in - Pizza Near Me - Glasgow, Montana

We were on our way across Montana and a park ranger suggested Eugene's. It was fantastic. The pizza was great. We also had excellent onion rings, tater tots, and wings. I really hope our path crosses that way again. The price was very reasonable and everything was great. read more

Was there with a group of 11 on a Fri night. Service was quick and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. We had the chicken barbeque, cheese, Arlie's special, and Eugene's special pizzas and salads. The salads were very fresh with large servings. Each of the pizzas were amazing! Crispy and tasteful crust, and loaded with fresh toppings. Wish I lived closer! Absolutely love this place. I highly recommend. read more

A pizza place like they should be basic not over the top and wonderful staff and food. This original location of Eugene's is a pleasant surprise as recommended by Local hotel. The staff was amazingly friendly, timely and served a great pizza with smiles and conversation. No flair needed. Your nice basic pizza shop with good food and wonderful service. A place to return to next trip and a place other businesses should learn from in terms of cust. Service. Nice job! read more

Eugene's Pizza - The story of Eugene's - Pizza Near Me - Glasgow, Montana

I want to like this place better and perhaps it was only a misalignment between my expectations and the delivered product but when you state it is Montana's best pizza place I was expecting something astounding. It wasn't. Eugene's Pizza is located in a small shopping complex that has a few other interesting looking locations. The restaurant itself is fine - social distancing tables are set up to limit spacing and density which was fine but felt bad that they couldn't get more customers though they were constantly putting to-go pizzas out for pickup. The first night we were there I had the pizza burger. It was good - a hamburger patty with mozzarella cheese and red sauce. I had another vision compared to other pizza burgers I have had in the past, but it was good. The tater tots were fine. The second day I had the cheeseburger pizza. I again had a vision in my head as BJ Brewhouse used to have a cheeseburger pizza that was to die for and I was envisioning that. Instead it had a red sauce, an entire layer of finely ground beef, whole slices of pickles, a layer of mozzarella cheese, and an entire layer of American cheese. The American cheese was melted over the top trapping the heat perfectly so it wasn't until the cheese was broken that the steak rushed out. Often as I pulled a slice the American cheese would slide off taking the mozzarella and pickles and much of the beef with it. It ended up being a hot lava mess that burned my mouth. I regret I didn't try something more basic that I could have done a better comparison with. The crust was great. It is a thin slice crust but it was delightful. Maybe other pizza would have been better. If I find my way back to Glasgow again I am certainly going to give it a try. read more

A local favorite. Pizza is hot and good. Service is friendly. We love having the root Beer. It's also the pebble ice. The ranch is special as well. We visit every summer when we visit NE Montana. read more

I had the Maui Jim. I know it has pineapple on it! But it was a nice balance of sweet and salty. Eugene's reminds me of old pizza parlors my dad would take as a kid in old Italy St. Paul Minnesota. Great place. The chickens dinners are good too. read more

It was fine. It wasn't the greatest pizza I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst :-) my husband ordered something different, but he can't even remember what it was. So overall it was satisfying but nothing to write home about. read more

Great pizza, burgers, chicken and ribs. Everything is made in house. Service is great! Many young people work there and continue to pick up shifts when they are back in town, so it is fun to see the kids grow up. It is very clean and has a relaxed hometown atmosphere. read more

Pizza was great! Side salad not so good If you've never been there before you seat yourself and someone will take your order - seemed like you order at counter. read more

I know it's a pizza place but get the chicken dinner. The best I've had in the state.

Ohmygosh. Thee best!!! We grew up with a mother tied to the kitchen, never going out to eat. Every once in awhile we would get to order takeout from Eugene's. Now when we go back to Glasgow, Eugene's is an absolute must. The pizza hasn't changed, it's amazing as always. It comes to your table with steam coming off the pie. They don't skimp on cheese, sauce or ingredients so there's no need to order extra anything on the pizzas. The crust is thin and perfect. Make sure to order a salad with homemade thousand island or ranch dressing, all made from scratch. Service is excellent, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor (thank you, MarySue!!) It's a lively, fun atmosphere. They also make their own BBQ sauce and bloody Mary mix which is also quite amazing. The only negative is that they weigh my luggage down! Truly the last bastion of great service, food made from scratch and extremely reasonable prices. read more

Passing through town and needed some comfy food for dinner. Great service, too notch pizza and affordable prices. Thanks for a great meal.

Stopped in on our way through town, ordered Arlie's pizza and a pepperoni pizza! The crust was just right! Delicious. This was a group review with kids input. read more

Pizza was pretty good but no where close to pizza in Louisville. Service was excellent The only negative silverware was served on the table surface and not wrapped in a napkin or placed on the plate. read more

Great pizza! Great BBQ sauce--use it as a dressing on their lunchtime BBQ chicken salad

This was the worst service and pizza I have ever had. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food. I am not joking when I say the crust was less than 1/8" thick and was like eating a cracker. The edge of the crust was so hard that it was inedible. Not only was the crust bad, but the pizza was bland and they use canned mushrooms. I won't waste another dollar at this place. read more

We were camping at a nearby location and read some posts on an RV website and yelp which were almost all positive. We even received some high praise about the place from some of the locals. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The staff were very nice and inviting. You can tell there is much history in the place by the decor. We ordered the 'heart attack' pizza with extra of all the meat toppings and had them cook it just a bit longer to make a crispy crust. The pizza is a very thin crust which we prefer. The sauce is very good and the toppings plentiful. The place was full for the entire time we were there and there was a steady stream of takeout traffic as well. We even spoke to some of the locals that came in to eat and all were regulars to this place. The feeling is that of a community in this place and many people knew the owners and staff as well as other staff. We felt very much welcome and will definitely stop here again if we are in the area read more

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had! Only wish I lived closer so I could eat it all the time! Great folks! Great pizza!

Local pizza joint with decent service, a greasy spoon ambiance, and a pretty good thin crust. The sauce was very reminiscent of 80's frozen pizza and their salad is just a bowl of lettuce though, which drops it a little in my estimation. Better than a chain, but likely not worth a special trip. read more

This is a childhood staple for me. Will never forget my 18th birthday party held there a couple of years ago. (Haha) Every trip through the area demands an order from Eugene's. Recently, we went through during their closed hours but were fortunate to have a pickup guy (my son) in town for work. We ordered 4 pizzas and were not able to eat them for several hours after pickup. Still. So. Good. Thank you, Eugene's Pizza. Thank you for keeping my childhood favorite going strong! Best wishes on many more years of sharing your amazing products with the world!! Whether it's pizza, ribs, or whatever.....you will not be sorry. read more

Though not much for ambiance the pizza was most excellent!! We ordered a ham and sauerkraut. It was great! It takes a while to get it because they do a huge take-out business. Definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend Eugene's to all! They throw the dough really high. read more

The best pizza in Montana! We never miss an opportunity to enjoy the legacy of Eugene's. Your first clue that you are in a traditional pizza place is the flour on the ceiling from "throwing" their dough. That is a lost art in a world of boughten crusts that taste like cardboard. Not at Eugene's!! A true gem in the Glasgow area. read more

Really enjoyed the pizza, liked the thin crisp crust. Sauce could have been spicier for me. Folks with us had the loaded hamburger and gems, indicated they were outstanding. All in all excellent value for the cost. read more

I am writing this review for my fellow gluten intolerant folks. I was in Glasgow for a work trip and everyone wanted to go to Eugene's Pizza for lunch. I couldn't find any menus online showing that they had gluten free crust, so I'd already decided to go with a salad. However, once we got there I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did indeed have gluten free crust. And let me tell you, it was some of the BEST gluten free crust I have had and I've eaten a lot of gluten free pizza. And one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The sauce is *chef's kiss*. If you're in Glasgow and looking for a good meal (and gluten free) I would highly recommend Eugene's! read more

Can't say the service was terribly fast but once we finally got our pizza is was delicious. I think going up north to see family and knowing we'd hit Eugene's is why my hubby was okay to come up. ;) The tator tots are just that right crunch, I did get a sandwich the second trip and can't say it was all that memorable but you can't expect too much when you are in a PIZZA shop. I had the Maui Jim with oranges and tomatoes added and it was quite tasty. My hubby and daughter got the Arlie's with extra sausage. They do additions if the recipe is a bit boring for you. Something to keep in mind if you find say a classic Hawaiian boring. read more

Great Pizza in the middle of small town Montana?? I wouldn't have thought it was possible, but this place more than proves that it is. The place has a good family operated vibe. Nothing fancy, but the prices are affordable, with pleasant service. What struck me at first were the odd, yet imaginative, concoctions found in the menu. Sauerkraut and Canadian Bacon together in a pizza?! It sounds so weird, I just had to try it. It was awesome. All the other pizzas I had were all tasty. My favorite one is probably "The Super", which is a perfectly combined pizza of Pepperoni, Beef, Salami, Sausage, Onion, Green Pepper & Mushroom. This place is the best food stop in town. read more

It's a shame that the service wasn't a bit better or this place would have been close to getting a fifth star from me. The pizza was very, very good and the prices were on the low side and I think this place is an excellent value. I am a fan of good pizza, and to find a place this good in a small town like Glasgow is a real surprise. In Portland or Seattle this place would still rank towards the top of the heap. If you're a fan of good pizza and happen to be in Glasgow don't pass this little place up. read more

Took a trip with my parents to see the town where I was born.... Glasgow MT. We are a family of pizza lovers. This is the place where I fell in love with pizza, a special piece of personal history. On this special occasion we got the largest possible pizza with pepperoni and fresh sliced tomato. The crust was perfection, the sauce was delicious and I loved that the pepperoni was UNDER the cheese! When you're there get a Henry's Root Beer and buy a t-shirt. My only wish is that I could live closer! read more

Really good pizza in the middle of no where. The place was packed with locals when we showed up, always a good sign. We ordered a BBQ pizza and they happily added jalapenos to it. The waitress could have been a little friendlier, but other than that, good food. read more

I was surprised as to how good the pizza was, having lived in New York York city and Chicago. Eugene's is really good

The Maui Jim is your standard Hawaiin pizza (Canadian bacon and pineapple). It's solidly done but doesn't distinguish itself among other hawaiins. I can't say enough good things about the BBQ Chicken pizza though. The sauce is sweet and tangy and everything is cooked perfectly. We got two 10" pizzas to share between two people and left with plenty of left overs. This is a place I would definitely come back. read more
