Hello Jordan, Montana! Wow, talk about passing through town in the middle of nowhere. I had been driving for what seemed like an eternity and was pretty hungry and in need of a break. I spotted this Summit Corral as a viable food option among what little the town offered. The billboard sign was visible from the road, and it mentioned - breakfast, lunch and dinner. My first impression was the restaurant appeared to be inviting, casual and family oriented where I could stop on in and enjoy a home cooked meal. Upon entering, the setting was plain and no frills. It reminded of a rustic lodge combined with a blue collar/cafeteria style setup. There were plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. The hostess noticed me from behind the counter and said I could sit anywhere. For being 4pm on a Saturday afternoon in summertime, I was the only guest here. It kind of confirmed to me how small the town of Jordan was and before doing anything else, I had to Google the population here out of curiosity, lol. And the answer was...372 residents!!! So, I was happy to relax, take in the quiet setting and help support a local business. The menu had plenty to offer from your typical all American type fare.... - Appetizers: quesadillas, jalapeno poppers, potato skins, chicken wings, onion rings, nachos, spinach and artichoke dip, cheese sticks. - Sandwiches: hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, BLT, steak sandwich, French Dip, Philly cheesesteak, patty melt, grilled ham and cheese. - Salads: taco salad, chicken salad, southwest chicken salad, chicken caesar salad, grilled tuna salad, Chinese chicken salad. - Platters: shrimp platter, chicken strip platter, finger steak platter, pub house cod platter, hot roast beef platter. - Entrees: steaks, kabobs, chicken fried steak, lobster, crab, cod, steak and shrimp, shrimp dinner, tuna steak, hamburger steak. - Pizzas - Desserts: ice cream, sundaes, flurries, pies, milkshakes and coffee. It'd be hard not to find something for everyone on the menu. I picked the mushroom swiss burger and substituted the fries for a side salad, which I had as an appetizer. I was a little let down with the salad. All it had was iceberg lettuce, some croutons and dressing. The mushroom swiss burger was delicious though, fresh off the grill on a soft bun. It included lettuce, tomato and onion on the side. Before finishing the burger, a few locals walked inside the restaurant and spoke with me. They asked where I was headed to and when I told them I was driving to Alaska, they were stunned to hear it but complimentary for my adventurousness. It was nice taking a moment to hear their stories as well and what life in Jordan, MT was like...before eventually returning to the road. Overall, I'm glad I got the opportunity to stop in and eat at this Summit Corral Restaurant. It kind of just gave me clarity and a sense of how you never know where you may end up, or who you could even run into. The world can be a great big unknown, but having memorable highlights along the journey is what life is all about! read more

Burgers look they are made with pre-formed patties, fries are generic frozen fries. Tried their Naxos bc you can't mess that up I thought, I was wrong. Army DEFAC has better food. read more

This place is in the middle of nowhere. we were starving and couldn't find a place to eat. I'm glad we came upon this place. The locals were eating there so we figured it must be good. We had nachos, blt, chicken strips and a open Faced beef sandwich. The food came fast and was hot and fresh. We even had room for pie and ice cream. They had strawberry rhubarb pie...my favorite! read more

Friendly staff, great music, good food (with a couple vegetarian options!). My favorite thing was the absolutely huge, soft, creamy cinnamon roll. Leaving with a happy stomach before another long day on the road. read more

The Hilltop Cafe is now called Summit Coral. It's a small cafe right on Highway 200. The main room has about 12 tables and they just remodeled their Banquet room, which is very nice. The service and food were both fabulous and our server, Laura, was fast, friendly and efficient. We were both too full to try any of their desserts. The owner was there and he was very friendly. He told us they remolded the kitchen, put in a new water system, and were also going to be adding a deck and remolding the main dining room soon. It's a very nice Cafe in the middle of nowhere, so if you find yourself passing through Jordan, stop in for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. You won't be disappointed. read more

Food is ok, average quality. I've ordered burgers, pizza, salad, and finger steaks. I was disappointed but not surprised they don't serve local meat. Sysco truck outside. That's fine. There is a varied menu. The waitress, personable and friendly. It is clean. The most notable thing about this restaurant is the well done taxidermy. read more

We were driving through headed back west and stopped at this nice little cafe on our way. They had amazingly delicious burgers! We also got the pizza which was pretty tasty. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because their tap water tasted bad. Other than that their staff was very friendly and helpful!!! read more
