Terrible place for any cosmetic surgery especially implants. If you are looking to get an implant…read moredone with Champagne smiles it will fail.. quickly and you will have to spend thousands of dollars fixing it with additional bone grafts, gum graft, and pain. I have attached a picture of my implant done at the Champagne Smiles. Within a few months I felt a constant pain with puss coming out from under my gums. I went back to this office to talk about it and they said it was normal... fast forward a few additional months my gums had receded to the point where you could see the metal screw and my gums were purple. After revisiting the office again, it was clear they had no idea how to fix this so I went to a Periodontist in Manhattan. He was in shock at how poorly my implant was done. the angle of the screw was incorrectly angled outward on top of there being so much cement under my gums which definitely caused the constant irritation. It has now been four years since my dental implant failed and I had to restart the process. Thankfully my periodontist has fixed it, and I have not had any issues for the past four years besides trauma from my experience and neglect at Champagne Smiles. Fixing Dr. Champagnes mistake cost me 12K on top of what I paid for the first implant done by him. PLEASE think again before going here.

He did nothing to offer to ease the pain and acted very professional when I questioned him. Not to mention, I was bruised for two weeks after my prep for my crown. Scheduling appointments was very easy and there was a lot of parking which is a plus. After walking into the office I was so amazed by how nice the place was! It's exactly how I would want my office to look if I ran a business. Everything is modern, clean & cozy. I loved the fact that I didn't have to deal with paperwork. Reception gave me an iPad to update my contact info and sign any forms. Not only is Loretta absolutely beautiful, fun & friendly, but she is also informative and professional. She pays close attention to detail and your experiance from the time you sit in the chair, to the time you leave. She doesn't rush through appointments and she actually takes her time. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work. Throughout the years Loretta worked on my teeth but this is my first time going to this location. Aside from the fact that they're amazing at the technical stuff, staff is very friendly as well. They answer all your questions quickly & efficiently. All in- If you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend Loretta & her staff at Advanced Esthetic Dentisty of Whitestone & Bayside! The Tropical Mint Chapstick & the rose gold pen with a stylus was a nice touch as well. I can't wait to come back!

I was recomended by my hygienist to have it removed before cavities begin to form due to the difficulty of brushing the area so I did some research and looked for referrals from friends. I previously removed a wisdom tooth a few years ago but put off removing the other three as I didn't want to be stuck eating soft foods for another three weeks again. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Dolman and that was when I knew Dr. Dolman was extremely knowledgeable and I could trust him with this procedure. Dr. Dolman is not pushy like a number of doctors are. Rather, he explains what would happen if you don't remove certain teeth and what would happen if you do. His explanations were clear and helped me prepare mentally for what I was about to go through. Doing any sort of dental work is usually pretty scary and pulling wisdom teeth is one of the scariest procedures for me due to the fears of dry sockets and things going wrong. However, Dr. Dolman is very experienced and goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients are safe, comfortable, and at ease before, during and after the procedure. Did I mention that during the procedure, I didn't feel a thing and was very relaxed? I didn't think that could be possible in a situation where someone would be yanking your teeth. What makes Dr. Dolman stand out is the experience post operation. I was provided a printout of what to expect for the next few weeks during recovery, what to eat and how often to change gauzes. In addition, Dr. Dolman gave me his number so I could text and call him if I had issues. He followed up periodically to check in and see how I was doing and answered questions I had very patiently. Dr. Dolman truly cares for his patients and I highly recommend everyone who needs oral surgery go to him. He is the best and I recommend all my friends to see him.

I am writing this review out of genuine disappointment and concern regarding the business practices…read moreat Central West Dentistry, as I paid for services that were not delivered as described. I returned to this practice in August 2025 specifically because of my past positive experience with Dr. Martin, who had always been sensitive to my severe dental anxiety. For my August appointment, booked for a cleaning, exam, and X-rays, I confirmed in advance that I required nitrous for the entire visit along with Valium. Instead, I was met with repeated pressure from a hygienist I had never met before about "concerns" with my teeth and gums, even though Dr. Martin had already examined me and said everything "looked good." The hygienist left mid-appointment to discuss insurance coverage with the office manager, leaving me waiting. When I asked to proceed with the cleaning I originally booked, she turned the nitrous off, switched to oxygen and I ultimately left without the full service. Because I care deeply about my dental health, I later scheduled Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing for today, the deep cleaning their hygienist recommended. I was told it would take two hours to complete all four quadrants and cost roughly $350 per quadrant. I prepaid nearly $2,000 and confirmed, in writing, that I required nitrous for the entire appointment and did not want any upsells mid appointment. Despite receiving multiple confirmations (two emails, three calls, and a text), the experience again fell far short. I flew into NYC specifically for this appointment and timed my anxiety medication with the appointment time to ensure treatment would go smoothly. When I arrived early at their request, the hygienist attempted to rush me into treatment before the nitrous had taken effect, contradicting their claim of understanding dental anxiety care. Then I was told I would receive injections to numb my entire mouth, something never mentioned during the booking process, not listed online in the procedure description, and not disclosed in any of our prior conversations. I declined and requested standard numbing gel. The "two-hour" Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing began at 4:02 pm and ended at 4:32 pm, 30 minutes total. Literally. I was then told the reason was simply, "Your teeth are in such good shape." This is especially concerning given that four months earlier, I was told (during a basic cleaning) that my gums were in such poor condition they needed to stop mid-appointment to verify insurance approval for a deep cleaning. Yet now, after paying cash upfront, all four quadrants were completed in just half an hour. It feels inconsistent at best, and at worst, like a bait-and-switch situation. I also paid $215 for nitrous oxide. Based on the photo I took, the machine displayed 60% nitrous / 30% oxygen. At no point did I feel the typical physical effects one would expect--especially when combined with a prescribed sedative. It raises the question of whether the nitrous tank was empty or improperly administered. I've had nitrous EVERY dental appointment for 20 years - i know how I'm supposed to feel, I repeatedly said nothing was coming and I was fully alert, yet another scam. To summarize, I paid nearly $2,000 for: * A two-hour Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing that lasted only 30 minutes * Four quadrants of scaling, when realistically only one or two may have been addressed * Nitrous oxide that did not appear to be delivered as represented * An exam I was told was required, yet I never saw the dentist at all. Oh and on my statement, it stated I received an Ibero scan - never happened and the receptionist said, well you weren't charged for it. LOL. I am requesting reimbursement for the nitrous charge, two of the four quadrants, and the exam fee. Patients have choices in dental care. If a practice advertises expertise in treating dental anxiety, the staff should be trained to actually deliver on that promise. Unfortunately, my experience demonstrated the opposite.

However, several months ago, she told me that I would need two inlay procedures done and since I trust her, I agreed to receive the treatment. She told me what the out-of-pocket costs would be but I wanted to double-check with my insurance first because this wasn't cheap work I needed done. The communication between her office and my insurance company was pretty terrible (perhaps nonexistent) but I eventually found out that these procedures were 100% covered by my insurance and so I shouldn't be paying for any of these out-of-pocket costs. Ever since telling her this, I've been completely ignored by her office. None of my calls or texts were ever returned, which surprises me because I've never been ignored by a medical professional before. I'm interested to hear the reason why I've been neglected as a client. I have the strong suspicion that her office doesn't like to deal with insurance and would rather work with patients who can pay all out of pocket. That's totally fine if that's your preference because it's your business....but then let me know before taking me on as a patient or at the very least, have the courage to tell me rather than leaving me in the dark!

TBH, she is good at identifying issues, but her bed manners..ugh... I came here to do the post after root-canal. I was so surprised (and scared) that there were water stains on the mirror she used (that was the mirror put in my mouth!) She found a cave under my gum during the process. She asked the guy at front-desk to take a picture of the bad teeth, and she was very careless when she was using the mirror leaning again my tongue. I felt so uncomfortable and finally asked 'what is going on here'. And yes, she finally told me there was a cave and the situation was more difficult than she thought. She told me I needed a surgery before she put the crown. Eventually, she finished the post and put a temporary filling and told me to come in the second day as there would be a specialist coming in. Third time I came here for the surgery. As I just got a new dental insurance, I was a little confused about how my insurance works regarding 'out-of-pocket' and 'maximum benefit' at the very beginning. I asked her if the 2k was 'out-of-pocket' or 'maximum', she was really rude and said with a high voice (I don't want to say she yelled at me) "do you know what maximum means?" Till then, I had no idea why she's this arrogant. During the surgery, she was supposed to take my temporary filling out first. It just took her forever to do that. She was so careless. When she was pulling that filling out, my jaw felt pain (not too much, but uncomfortable). During the surgery, when the specialist asked her to pass him something, she kept mistaking two different things. After the surgery, the prescription usually should be sent electronically to the CVS, but she just asked me to drop off. I am fed up with this. There are so many professional and nice dentists in New York. Choose wisely.
