A++ I came here…read moretoday for my time. I'm so happy I have found my new Dentist! Melissa was my dental hygienist and she was extremely thorough and gentle. The cordless tooth polisher was great since and the entire mouth floss as the end was amazing as well. My favorite part of this office has got to be the TV'S ON THE CEILING so you can kind of zone out while they're making your teeth sparkle again. I got to catch up on some Netflix at my dentist, welcome to 2019. The entire office was VERY clean and the front desk was very friendly and checked me in quickly so I didn't wait long at all. I will be doing x-rays in 6 months since I just had them done recently. My second favorite part was the hot towel at the end of the cleaning to mop off my face, I felt like I was flying first class! I'm actually looking forward to going back to the dentist and that's something I never thought I would say!!

The procedure was smooth and completely painless. About two months later I developed a bone spike coming through my gum, which was very uncomfortable. I called and they saw me the same day. The doctor quickly fixed the problem and I felt instant relief right after the procedure. The staff is very kind, professional, and attentive. Everything was handled gently and I truly felt no pain. I highly recommend this office if you need urgent dental care -- they really take care of their patients.

I was recomended by my hygienist to have it removed before cavities begin to form due to the difficulty of brushing the area so I did some research and looked for referrals from friends. I previously removed a wisdom tooth a few years ago but put off removing the other three as I didn't want to be stuck eating soft foods for another three weeks again. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Dolman and that was when I knew Dr. Dolman was extremely knowledgeable and I could trust him with this procedure. Dr. Dolman is not pushy like a number of doctors are. Rather, he explains what would happen if you don't remove certain teeth and what would happen if you do. His explanations were clear and helped me prepare mentally for what I was about to go through. Doing any sort of dental work is usually pretty scary and pulling wisdom teeth is one of the scariest procedures for me due to the fears of dry sockets and things going wrong. However, Dr. Dolman is very experienced and goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients are safe, comfortable, and at ease before, during and after the procedure. Did I mention that during the procedure, I didn't feel a thing and was very relaxed? I didn't think that could be possible in a situation where someone would be yanking your teeth. What makes Dr. Dolman stand out is the experience post operation. I was provided a printout of what to expect for the next few weeks during recovery, what to eat and how often to change gauzes. In addition, Dr. Dolman gave me his number so I could text and call him if I had issues. He followed up periodically to check in and see how I was doing and answered questions I had very patiently. Dr. Dolman truly cares for his patients and I highly recommend everyone who needs oral surgery go to him. He is the best and I recommend all my friends to see him.

I had an AMAZING experience with a hygienist who was interviewing (I was told while checking out.) She was beyond kind, helpful, respectful and really made me feel comfortable (which I didn't think was possible.) PLEASE hire her as I want her to be my "go to" for cleanings. She was so knowledgeable and skilled at her job. I believe her name was Ashlyn but admittedly I was so nervous when she introduced herself so I do feel badly about that honestly. Overall the practice was clean, calm and relaxed. I was very impressed. Amy R

It saddens me to have to write this review for Dr. Ellis. I think that she's very knowledgeable and…read moredoes great quality of work. However, several months ago, she told me that I would need two inlay procedures done and since I trust her, I agreed to receive the treatment. She told me what the out-of-pocket costs would be but I wanted to double-check with my insurance first because this wasn't cheap work I needed done. The communication between her office and my insurance company was pretty terrible (perhaps nonexistent) but I eventually found out that these procedures were 100% covered by my insurance and so I shouldn't be paying for any of these out-of-pocket costs. Ever since telling her this, I've been completely ignored by her office. None of my calls or texts were ever returned, which surprises me because I've never been ignored by a medical professional before. I'm interested to hear the reason why I've been neglected as a client. I have the strong suspicion that her office doesn't like to deal with insurance and would rather work with patients who can pay all out of pocket. That's totally fine if that's your preference because it's your business....but then let me know before taking me on as a patient or at the very least, have the courage to tell me rather than leaving me in the dark!

TBH, she is good at identifying issues, but her bed manners..ugh... I came here to do the post after root-canal. I was so surprised (and scared) that there were water stains on the mirror she used (that was the mirror put in my mouth!) She found a cave under my gum during the process. She asked the guy at front-desk to take a picture of the bad teeth, and she was very careless when she was using the mirror leaning again my tongue. I felt so uncomfortable and finally asked 'what is going on here'. And yes, she finally told me there was a cave and the situation was more difficult than she thought. She told me I needed a surgery before she put the crown. Eventually, she finished the post and put a temporary filling and told me to come in the second day as there would be a specialist coming in. Third time I came here for the surgery. As I just got a new dental insurance, I was a little confused about how my insurance works regarding 'out-of-pocket' and 'maximum benefit' at the very beginning. I asked her if the 2k was 'out-of-pocket' or 'maximum', she was really rude and said with a high voice (I don't want to say she yelled at me) "do you know what maximum means?" Till then, I had no idea why she's this arrogant. During the surgery, she was supposed to take my temporary filling out first. It just took her forever to do that. She was so careless. When she was pulling that filling out, my jaw felt pain (not too much, but uncomfortable). During the surgery, when the specialist asked her to pass him something, she kept mistaking two different things. After the surgery, the prescription usually should be sent electronically to the CVS, but she just asked me to drop off. I am fed up with this. There are so many professional and nice dentists in New York. Choose wisely.

I was able to go to work with her when I was a little girl, and I work in the medical field for 20 years, patient care is important. The older receptionist then made a rude comment. You could tell the younger receptionist was embarrassed about how the other was acting. A lot of the nurses in the back genuinely seemed angry they had to speak to patients at all, aka do their job. It made me pretty nervous to go into surgery with people like this. Dr. Norman was great and went over any concerns I had, but realistically because of the other staff and the care I received before and after surgery I'd recommend finding somewhere else to go so it's safer and more comfortable for patients!!! I definitely would have gone somewhere else if I knew how they treated their patients beforehand.
