All of my life I've had severe anxiety issues with dental visits. This is one of only two times in my life I've said "I LOVE THIS PLACE" when leaving a dental office. The only other time I said that was in the early 00's when I came to this same dental office! I had moved out of the area shortly after that visit and, upon my return to NJ, could not remember the name. I'm so happy I have found this dental practice again because everyone I encounter here does an amazing job at making a person feel comfortable. Another thing I noticed is how GENUINE everyone is with their kindness and warm greetings. Brooke was working the front desk during my two recent visits. She is so sweet and so polite, while also giving you confidence in her as a dedicated member of their staff who knows what she's doing, and does it well. First impressions are important, and I can assure you that being greeted so warmly by Brooke, upon entering the office, sets the tone for a great experience. (I never in my life thought I'd refer to any dental experience as a great experience!) Dr Donelan and dental assistant Stephanie couldn't have been amazing! I have spent my life in customer service of varying degrees and know how difficult and challenging it can be at times. In the dental chair I definitely become "one of those" patients. My anxiety gets the ybetter of me and I'm sure I'm quite the handful to deal with. I don't know if it was frustrating for them to deal with me, but if it was they definitely did not make it noticeable. Stephanie is so kind and sociable, and awesome at her job! The teamwork between the two of them was seamless since they worked so well together. Dr. Donelan is the most pleasant dentist I have EVER encountered in my entire life! Heck, even amongst every healthcare provider I've ever encountered he is definitely in my top 5, which is not an easy place to get to! The other 4 providers on that short list, I have continued to see because they are so amazing and I can guarantee that will be the case with Dr. Donelan! (Just don't tell my primary doc that she's got some competition as far as awesome doctors are concerned, lol.) In the short 2 times I have been under his direct care I can tell he is truly amazing at keeping patients like myself calm and informed. He was quick to read my responses and knew instantly how to work with them. Any time my stress level started to go up, he could see it and was quick to address it in a gentle, non-aggressive way. I truly feel so lucky to have found a dentist of this caliber! No dentist has ever, in my 47 years on this earth, given me the level of comfort, confidence and security that Dr. Donelan provided! When I like a place of business, I am one to consistently recommend it to friends, family and coworkers. I can guarantee that is going to be the case with Old Bridges Dental! Not to mention, I am also going to make sure I leave positive reviews about this dental practice on any and every platform I have access to! First, I want to say that Doctor Griggs and his entire staff are very professional and make you feel that you are "part of the Family". I was a patient of Dr. Griggs for about 10 years, but then moved to Delaware. I was always happy with the work he did, his honesty and integrity were utmost in my trust of him and was a big factor in my family and I deciding on him as our dentist. I felt that since I moved,I would find a local Delaware dentist and save me the 2 hour trip each way to continue to see Dr. Griggs. BIG MISTAKE. I found that finding a Dentist of his caliber was a very difficult task. I found out that Dentists I worked with were proposing extremely expensive solutions. Implants, Surgery, Crowns, Bridges.... I was not comfortable with what I was hearing and decided to go back to Dr. Griggs for his opinion. One of the wisest decisions I have made. He suggested a Bridge with no surgery and one implant, using my own teeth as a foundation base. The cost came down considerably and I also was able to get a 20% discount by signing up for their in house "Value Plan". I also wanted to praise his Dental Assistant, Satinder Dhaliwal. She was very professional and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions as they came up. She was at Dr. Griggs side throughout the procedures. She would complete the finishing touches after he completed his work and was pleasant to converse and interact. Dr. Griggs is also A Jersey Choice Top Dentist. I had an impacted wisdom tooth it was the day before Thanksgiving and my dentist didn't return my call, in fact I called several oral surgeons which just said sorry we can't help you today. Then I called Old Bridge Dental,(now you need to understand this office is 1 hour and 45 minuets away from where I live, but I was desperate my pain was unbearable) Janet answered the phone, I explained what was going on and she gave me an appointment for that day. When I finally arrived at Old Bridge Dental, I was impressed with the cozy waiting room it was so welcoming. Janet greeted me with a warm smile,she quickly took all my information and within minutes Satinder was calling my name.Satinder is Dr. DiCarlo assistant,she also greeted me with a big warm smile ,she asked about my plain and off she went to get Dr. DiCarlo,he was so empathetic to my situation, he explained step by step what he was going to do, which was very reassuring to me. He numb my mouth waited a short period of time and then extracted my wisdom tooth.The procedure was painless. Afterward,Dr. DiCarlo explained in detail what I need to do. Satinder gave me written instructions of what the Doctor had explained.Old Bridge Dental is where I will be going to from now on, I don't care that I have to drive 1 hour and 45 minuets they are worth the drive.I would like to thank Dr. DiCarlo and everyone at Old Bridge Dental for a wonderful experience in my time of need. After moving to Middlesex County many years ago, I had to find a new dental practice. After trying three other dentists more than one time each, I found Dr. Griggs quite serendipitously. My entire family has been extremely satisfied for about 18+ years. I'm extremely diligent about dental hygiene and the appearance of my teeth is very important to me. (I've been going to the dentist since age 5.) I first consulted Dr. Griggs when another dentist botched veneers on my front teeth--what a mess! Dr. Griggs' overall treatment proved reasonable, comprehensive and a huge improvement in both aesthetics and functionality. Here's what I love about them: a balanced and conservative treatment approach, high skill level with a variety of procedures, competent hygienists, welcoming and comfortable spaces (almost spa-like with soothing music, running waterfalls, hot wet facial towels, hot beverages, etc.), pleasant office staff who treat you like a human being, convenient hours, thorough and holistic approach to treatment, up to date use of technology to communicate with patients, and consistently professional performance. Although I only drive about 15 minutes to reach them, I'd definitely go many extra miles if necessary. Definitely several steps up from my last dentist. The office is clean and welcoming. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. My hygienist, Christine, was awesome. She took the time to understand my needs and concerns. Most importantly, she made me feel comfortable and I didn't experience any pain or anxiety. She made mention that she had a light touch with her cleanings, she did, and it was a great cleaning. My dentist, Dr. Donelan, was very welcoming to me as a new patient. He took the time to go over my dental health and didn't scold me, like many other dentist do, when you forget to floss once in a while. He was accepting of my difficult allergies and outlined safe alternatives. The practice is up to date. They have newer equipment, from ipads to panoramic xrays, to tv's in each room to present you with your own dental health. I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I dread it. The closest I've ever come to death was in a dentist chair (allergies). I feel at ease here and I feel like I'm in good hands. read more

Old Bridge Dental is hands down the best dental practice i have ever gone to. I made an appointment for me and my little nieces (9 and 2 years old). They treat the girls and myself like we are family. They treated the little ones with the up most care and made sure they had a proper cleaning, but fun at the same time, making sure not to scare them away from every wanting to come back to the dentist. When it was my turn to get my cleaning and exam they went over everything they did and even joked around with me to make sure I was having a good time and was in no pain during any part of the exam and cleaning. After the exam was finished, they help me plan my next visit and what I could do to help me treat my teeth even better between visits. Old Bridge Dental is like another home, from the big yellow house where the office resides, to the friendly staff that feel like family. I've been a patient of Dr. Griggs since I was a toddler, and after moving far away and visiting different dental offices, I have never had the cleaning or experience as I have had with Old Bridge Dental. After each visit my teeth feel clean and bright. After being away so long, I am happy to be back home with the friendly staff and the big yellow house. The office has had many new renovations and is constantly updating, from the high end equipment to the paint on the walls. Another amazing experience! I just had the 2nd of 2 fillings replaced with white composite. I mentioned to Dr. Griggs how awesome my experience with the first was, that it was totally painless and how the numbness wore off quickly after leaving the office. He explained that with today's filling, on a bottom tooth, the anesthetic would last longer. When I told him that I had a meeting in an hour he offered a new, injection-free, way to administer anesthetic to just one tooth without numbing the entire jaw! What a great experience!!! I had an amazing experience here at old bridge dental! I was just in for a standard cleaning. The hygienist Fabi Zambrano did an amazing job accommodating me in the chair, taking my x-rays, and was super gentle during the cleaning. She was very informative during the whole process, by showing my x rays on the big screen she was able to help me understand what I was looking at. Dr. Lee is wonderful. She is willing to help you make your smile look brighter. I needed to get a bond done and she immediately came by me and said if I had time she could do it at that time. I didn't have to come back. That saved me time and another trip to the dentist. Fabi is also wonderful. She does a fabulous job cleaning your teeth. She remembers conversations you had with her. I drive over an hour from Ocean County to see my favorite hygienist (please don't be mad I am totally drawing a blank on your name right now but you know I love you!!) and my amazing dentist Dr Griggs. The front office staff and nurses are super. Dr. G did a great job on 2 crowns and a veneer. They feel great and look natural.
