I am so happy I found James and started training with him. I am not the easiest client since I have few health conditions but he found a way to find my strengths , and work around my injuries that overtime actually healed and I am 200% better and stronger when I started my Journey with James.. I truly am embracing the process and look forward to my training sessions with James. Stay tuned... it is just about to get serious!!

james has seriously changed my life. i've always been someone intimidated and scared of training, but i now have never felt more comfortable in the gym and even with my own body ! james is truly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to guiding people on their fitness journey. he has educated me on the correct ways to change my lifestyle in order to change my body. he is great at communicating and motivating you towards your fitness goals from the personally tailored meal plan to the monthly checks on your progress. always changing up the workouts and just a great person to be around, james always makes your workout fun and enjoyable. thanks james for being so great at what you do !

The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. I'm still a member so yes, but it could improve.

As a founding member of Life Time Fitness, I've been with the gym since day one in 2022. Over the…read moreyears, it's truly become my third space. The facility itself is beautiful, upscale, and consistently clean, with thoughtful amenities like Kiehl's products in the locker rooms that make the experience feel elevated. What really makes this gym stand out, though, are the amazing instructors. Cory for spin, Mariah for mat Pilates, and Haly, Isaiah, and Carmen for Alpha are some of my favorites. Last year, around May 2025, they introduced CTR, a reformer-based Pilates class that was a total game changer for me. I no longer needed to go to a separate Pilates studio. Rob and KO helped build the program, and they were both spectacular. Rob is rarely there now, and KO recently left the gym. In my opinion, Anisa Diaz is an exceptional CTR instructor. Honestly, she's great in every class I've taken with her, including spin and mat Pilates. No two CTR classes with her are ever the same. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, has excellent flow, and every movement feels intentional and challenging in the best way. She consistently brings fresh ideas and new challenges that keep the classes engaging and fun. She truly elevated the entire experience. However, over the past few months, some of her classes have been cut, and I feel the CTR program has started to feel lacking and subpar. Because of that, I've found myself returning to private Pilates studios like Drenched OC, Anodetome, Sol, and Jetset Pilates, which are all fantastic if you're considering a private studio experience. At this point, I mainly take CTR at Life Time only when Anisa is teaching. Overall, I'm still very happy with Life Time. I just wish they would bring more energy -- and Anisa -- back to CTR.

The new shower products are an upgrade from the old ones. The reason my rating is low; The main issue I have here is that I frequently see people taking selfies in the locker room. I used to complain about it, but management doesn't seem to do anything. I get an email that it's serious or a phone call and I appreciate it, but nothing seems to happen. Just today, I went through the locker room to go to the party that the gym was having, and I saw a girl taking selfies in the locker room. Other women were changing there, so it wasn't like she was all alone. It's super easy to get photos of people changing in the background. I have easily seen people taking selfies in the locker room at least a dozen of times in the last couple years. We change there. We don't have our clothes on. Why is it okay to take a photo? Even if you aren't intending to photograph others, which most people aren't, people can easily show up in the background. It makes me so uncomfortable. I avoid changing in the locker room now, or if I do, I try to hide in the back. Changing in the bathroom stalls isn't easy because things can fall into the toilet and changing in the shower is wet and the showers sometimes get crowded. It has decreased how much I value this gym, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others. I pay a lot for the gym and amenities, but if I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it ruins the experience. And when I do shower here, I have to bring clothes I can immediately change into in the shower to minimize walking around undressed in case someone decides to take a selfie and I happen to be in the reflection in the mirror. This also limits my ability to do stuff in the locker room like put lotion on. If I complain, I feel l get labeled as a "Karen". Staff doesn't seem to care. People get upset if you talk to them, and I shouldn't have to. I get emails from management that they take this seriously, but if they did they could at least put prominent signs on the mirrors in the locker rooms or have staff members remind women in the locker room not to take photos.

I've been a member of LA Fitness on Michelson Drive since 2021, and even though I've had…read moreopportunities to join other premium gyms like Equinox and Lifetime Fitness, I've continued choosing LA Fitness because it fits my lifestyle the best. The club is spacious, bright, well designed, and easy to access. I appreciate the towel service, the layout, and how convenient it is to get in and out. Overall, it has been a great place to work out, and that is why I have remained a loyal member for several years. As I began bringing family members with me, however, I noticed a few areas where I believe the club could become even better. One of the biggest opportunities for improvement is the addition of a family restroom. Some families, including those caring for minors or individuals with disabilities or other support needs, may require assistance from a caregiver of the opposite sex. A dedicated family restroom would make the club much more accessible and welcoming. As more families are living with autism and other developmental disabilities, I believe this would be a valuable addition that reflects the needs of today's community. I also have a few suggestions that I think would make an already great club even better: * Add a family restroom. * Reopen the additional court that has been closed for a long time, potentially increasing pickleball availability. * Open and utilize the dedicated training area for glute-focused workouts, similar to other LA Fitness locations. * Offer specialized glute and core fitness classes. * Consider adding group martial arts classes such as kickboxing or Taekwondo. I believe these would attract many new members and make this location stand out even more. Overall, I still enjoy this club and plan to continue my membership. The facility is excellent, and the management has generally been supportive and helpful.

My wife and I signed up through my OnePass membership about a week ago…read more The good - staff is friendly. Signup was quick (about 10 minutes or so). Weights and machines are relatively clean and maintenance seems to be active on broken machines. There's a good amount of open space, especially on the turf which not too many people seem to use often. The not so good - free weights are all over the place, specifically the dumbbells. As expected, IT GETS BUSY. Especially after 12pm with high school kids on summer break, but the gym is big enough to get a solid workout in. I've found the best times to go are weekdays in the morning. Good luck!

Their swimming pool was recently remodeled and I'm glad it's finally open. The unfortunate thing is that this pool is quite cold. They rarely turn on the heat so this pool is quite cold when you get in for your swim. I also take their swimming pool aqua classes and really like Carol as the instructor. She's really good at teaching and works all body parts and joints. She always reminds us of our posture so we do our exercises correct. The women's locker room can be improved. The shower stall have weak water pressure and some of the shower heads barely have any water. They also redid the soap dispenser and I feel the soap doesn't do a good job at cleaning so I have to bring me own. Due to lots of use at this gym the locker room and shower areas are always wet and there's hair and remnants of trash everywhere. I do see the cleaning crew constantly cleaning the locker room bits I know it's hard to keep up. Overall good place to get your workout in. There also sign up specials in January for those New Years resolutions.

I canceled my…read moremonth-to-month membership in writing (per their policy and contract) on December 24, 2025, but the studio asked once for further info, then never acknowledged the cancellation and continued billing anyway despite me sending multiple follow ups. It is now March and they have continued adding charges for months after cancellation. The balance has now increased to about $477. I have tried multiple times to resolve this directly, including emailing the studio, 3rd party billing and the manager, but literally no one trom the studio has responded to me in writing confirming cancellation. When I spoke to 3rd party billing, Club Ready, they too ignored the cancellation request and tried to pressure me to pay by threatening sending the account to collections. I continue receiving automated billing emails and text messages, along with phone calls asking me to call them to pay the balance. Because I have been unable to get a response or written confirmation of cancellation, I have had to document the situation with consumer protection agencies. I truly hope the studio does the right thing, corrects the account balance and confirms the cancellation in writing.

Our first day was awesome, thanks to Chad, Marco, and Amanda. They really took care of us, answering all our questions and making sure we felt at home. Having both training and running areas side by side? So cool. We kicked things off with a Nike Running class, and Kate was our trainer. She crushed it, keeping the energy high between both the running and weight training areas. Her presence was just next level. She is super inspiring and motivating. On the training side, we had Dominique as our coach, and she's just incredible. She's got this amazing ability to command the room, making everyone feel seen and motivated. She brings such intense energy, and it's clear she knows her stuff inside and out. Dominique isn't just leading a workout; she's creating an experience. She's got eyes on everyone, making sure we're all giving our best and staying safe, all while keeping the vibe upbeat and fun. Her passion for fitness shines through, and it's contagious--you can't help but want to show up to every class she teaches. She's honestly the best! We also tried Derek's class, and he's just as awesome. He pushes you just right, encouraging you to dig a little deeper and keep going even when you feel like stopping. His support is genuine, and he has this way of making everyone feel capable and strong. By the end, you're feeling accomplished and so glad you came, already looking forward to the next one. I can't wait to take classes with more of the trainers here. This place has everything we hoped for--amazing people, a gorgeous setup, and an energy that makes you want to keep coming back.
