I took it back to the store (exchange only) and chose a faux leather skirt. Now full transparency, I didn't wear the skirt for awhile, but I just wore it to a play a week ago. The color from the skirt bled everywhere! I had it on my hands & fingernails, my light grey sweater that I wore with the skirt and my bed sheets when I sat down! These were not inexpensive items. It's such a disappointment that 2 different purchases were not of good quality.

I partnered with Creatively Beaut Goods (CBG) at the start of the pandemic for a dreamcatcher-making event. The owner, Cecilia Navarro, is so wonderful and welcoming. She was inspired to build this business after she made a dreamcatcher for her newborn daughter. CBG is a "place meant to ignite your creativity and leave you feeling inspired to try something new." A metaphysical, vintage, and gift shop that sells everything whimsical, spiritual, and trendy; from houseplants to crystals, vintage clothing to locally made jewelry, macrame art to bath essentials. You can't help but feel creative in here. CBG participates in all kinds of local events and festivals, and hosts their own as well. Like poetry reading nights, jewelry making, and full moon tea and tarot ceremonies. Lots of creative energy going on! CBG is a place where local artists are able to create and sell pieces, and where any local can come to feel inspired.

She also reached out to the post office to try to get information, as the tracking number wasn't working. She continuously kept me posted, which was much appreciated. Her customer service was off the charts. Luck was on my side though and the event was rescheduled to a week later and I ended up getting my kit in time. The kit included a personalized note. The kit was high quality. I hope to do business again with her in the future.

While browsing, I found several things I was interested in, but I'm a smart shopper and prefer to purchase items when they're more reasonably priced. I was told that their major sales typically take place toward the end of the year, so I'll definitely keep that in mind. Since I'm only about 10 minutes away from the store, I have no problem returning to purchase the items I was interested in or discovering something new. After a staff lunch one day one of my coworkers convinced us to take a detour to Keeping Up with the Joneses before we headed back to work. I am so glad I did. This little shop is the perfect size. It's small, quaint, and has just enough to browse without being overwhelming. We started with the clearance rack outside and the clothes were so cute! The sales are really good! One of my coworkers scored a gorgeous blue and white work dress and a pink and coral lace dress for a wedding reception--both on sale for $50! They had some cute white shirts with black printed sayings on them. I got two that said "Chanel and Champagne" although I was really in love with the "You had me at Merlot" shirt. They just didn't have it in my size. :-( The sizes available go up to size 14. If you look hard enough you can find some items in XXL, but the selection is small, so keep an open mind. I plan to regularly stop by to see what is on sale and maybe fall in love with more of their clothes. I spotted some gorgeous dresses and tops, but again my size wasn't available. There's a small fitting room in the shop. It's located in the back of the store, which is also where Aria Salt is (they share the space). One thing that I really love is that the material of the clothes felt thick and durable. You can tell the clothes are well made and will last. The owner was friendly and helpful, giving tips on what kind of shoes went with my coworker's dresses and ringing us up quickly. I also scored two large stemless wine glasses for 50% off each. They open at 9am, which feels unheard of for a boutique, but makes total sense here. Roll out of a yoga class or pop in before, either way it is dangerously convenient if you love to shop like I do. The pieces are super cute and very on trend right now. Think nautical, sailor, coastal vibes everywhere. Prices are in line with spots like Free People and Anthropologie, so not cheap but expected for the style and quality. Definitely one of those places you "just browse" and somehow leave with a full outfit.

Vendors include Bk Designs specializing in the most adorable tumblers, love the one I purchased! TK Riddle Designs her specialty is screen printed tees. A lot of local schools mascot, as well as, a variety of prints. She has a t-shirt bar one day a week where you go in and pick a screen and a shirt and she'll press right there on the spot for you! Reasonably priced too! She also has a variety of novelty gifts from lollipops, mini cheesecake bites and little baggies filled with candy for Valentine's Day. Other vendors include clothing, candies, specialty cards and beautiful artwork done by a local artist.
