I have never thought I would ever, EVER, want to do any of these, or weight lifting, or even workout in a gym before coming to train with Dominik.( Not gonna lie, I am still not a big fan of it, BUT) I love how effective the workout was designed and the result I got just by training for few months. I am the type of girl that love exercises for purposes, like sports for enjoyment and fun, dance and yoga for body forms and shape. So going to a gym seems dull and boring to me. I even tried crossfit before and absolutely hated it. Until a friend of mine introduce Dominik for personal training. Like most people( that I know of), whose metabolic rate just get slower after late 20s, it just seems harder and harder to maintain body weight and shapes. So I decided to give personal training a try, since it seems like regular exercise doesn't work for me anymore. And it was a game changer. Dominik not only creates personalized sets of workout for the body frame that I want, (since I wanted to keep a feminine look not muscle builder) but also advising on the diet that I should have. It's all about a healthy eating habits, and balancing with effective workout, like HIIT. It is a new thing to me and I am amazed by the result it yields. He is also very knowledgeable about body muscle structure that I have never gotten injured. The workouts have kicked my butt (in a good way) but my favorite part is the community. I was scared at first about being a newbie since everyone seemed so tight but I feel like I'm definitely a part of the community now. The staff and all the members genuinely care about you and your progress. They provide motivation, guidance, and nutrition advice too. Burn takes COVID precautions seriously and ensures everyone wears masks inside and stays socially distant. There's lots of hand sanitizer available, as well. They also have Zoom options available for every workout that are wonderful and still very engaging. I can already see the progress after spending 2 months at Burn. The workouts challenge me in different ways, and I've truly loved the different camps available. To further explain, each camp is 45 minutes long and is completed as a group with an instructor leading. There are several different camp times available throughout the day. Once you are done with one of these classes there is no way for me at least that I could do another 1 right behind it. Additionally one thing that I really love about the fit body bootcamp is that not only do they keep you motivated they also come over and physically show you how to do each 1 of the exercises even after they have demonstrated it beginning of Class. I wish that this is something that I could do all of the time because it is very motivational and it keeps you on your toes and you don't get bored ever. Extremely disappointed- unacceptable treatment of children…read more We had high hopes for this ninja class however, our recent encounter with Coach Landon was deeply disappointing and concerning. During class, my child swung a rope back which was against gym rules, and he then apologized. Instead of using this as a learning moment, Coach Landon chose to punish him by forcing him to do continuous jumping jacks. When my son, exhausted said he couldn't continue, Coach Landon insisted that he keep going. My son then started crying saying " I'm tired " and coach Landon again told him to "keep going ." I witnessed the incident and had to step in and pull him from the class mid-session. My son was in tears and clearly exhausted. I immediately addressed this with Carrie, the owner, however, felt dismissed by her excuse for why this occurred. Hoping for further clarification, I sent a follow up email to ninjas edge however, received no response. This lack of accountability raises serious concerns about how the coaches are trained and whether they understand ways to work with children. Punishment with physical activity in the state of Michigan is actually illegal. In addition, it can be very dangerous. Gym sessions should be an enjoyable, safe, and supportive environment. If there are concerns regarding a child's behavior or ability to follow rules, parents should be notified rather than having children face punitive measures without communication. I find it alarming that punishment and humiliation are being used as disciplinary methods. This class was supposed to be a fun experience. The fact that they did not respond to my email speaks volumes. If you're considering this program, Id strongly urge you to reconsider.

This place is located in Plymouth on the North side of Ann Arbor Rd, to the West of I-275…read more Plenty of parking. Some of the negative reviews talk about the gym being dirty or machines broken but I didn't notice any of that. Bathroom was clean. They do only have 2 squat racks but 4 benches (see photo). They also have the rare hip machine (see photo) which is a big plus. It was not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon so the 2 squat racks wasn't an issue. They have a basketball court but no one was playing and there was a ball so you may not need to bring one. They did have a seating area with a tv (see photo) which I had not seen before. But it was useful for me to search through places to eat since I am not from Michigan. Overall very good. Only downside is 25 mins away from Univ of Michigan. The LA Fitness closest to the campus is a Signature club which apparently is not my level so it would have cost $10. But happy with this one in Plymouth.
