The surgeon is only there one day a week so I get it. That being said my appointment was at 10 and they told me to come at 9:30. I did that and I wasn't seen until almost 1130. That being said I had a quick x-ray done of my mouth and they were just basically checking to see if my mouth was OK to start doing the implants and make an appointment for that. I am not kidding you I think the surgeon was in the office in my room for about 2 to 3 minutes. He just looked in my mouth and had looked at the x-rays before he had walked in and said oh I understand you're in a hurry to get back to work, your mouth looks fine. We can go ahead with the implants. And that was it. Such a long waiting time to see somebody for like two or three minutes. That was ridiculous. So that's the bad but the good is that they're really nice. Another bad thing is they don't have nitrous oxide so nothing to get you to relax before a dental procedure. They just numb you up and go from there. Though I've recently switched dentist lately and only went to Aspen to get implants. Even my dentist doesn't use nitro sock side. My old dentist did it did make the experience much easier for me to deal with since I have TMJ And it made me relaxed enough to keep my mouth open for a longer period of time.

I went for my first exam about a month ago, and Dr. Colby gave me a limited oral exam, and wanted me to make an appointment for a cleaning and a set of X-rays. I went in for my cleaning, X-rays, and scheduled an appointment (today) for the extraction of a broken lower left molar. The doctor put me on antibiotics prior to the extraction, and the staff called not only to remind me of my appointment, but also to check on how I was doing prior to the appointment (I was in a LOT of pain but had to wait for the antibiotics to take effect before I could have the extraction). I went in for a 9 am appointment, arrived a few minutes early, and was in the chair before 9. I was given the novocaine injections and we waited. When I wasn't numb yet, Dr. Colby said he had something that would 'take it away immediately'. I was given another injection of a different numbing agent, and the effects were immediate. The tooth was out in less than two minutes. It was the fastest, most painless extraction I've ever had. The staff is gentle, caring, compassionate, easy to talk to, very easy-going and extremely polite. The Dr. is just a level of awesome I have never seen before in a dentist. He is funny, witty, gentle, caring, cautious in his work ( I didn't feel like someone was rooting around in my mouth at any of the appointments I've had so far), and when you don't have a face full of dental instruments or gauze, very engaging to talk to. He is very honest in terms of what is going on in your mouth, as well as what the cost may be, and any other complications that might arise based on your personal circumstance. *Very* highly recommend!

took my daughter there last week for tooth pain, i expressed to them I believe she had a cracked…read moretooth and it was the upper teeth. he said she grinds her teeth and that's causing the pain. told us to get her nasal spray and i bought some paste from the office to use at night after brushing. he said to use that for 3 months and follow up. brought her back again yesterday for worsening pain, AGAIN NOTHING WAS DONE. dr pretty much said she was faking it. this morning she woke up with the whole left side of her face swollen. I had to take her to an urgent dental place that was not in network with her insurance. they once again did X-rays and informed me that she had a huge abscess!!!! and she had to have 2 of her teeth removed. the dentist at this new facility told me that they don't understand how it could of gotten missed on an X-ray. I paid $400 for this treatment!!! I called and spoke with the office manager who one did not even apologize for their mistake and two said that they took only X-rays of the LOWER TEETH. But the doctor looked completely in her mouth at her teeth and didn't see the hole in the tooth. unbelievable!! I will never ever go back.
