Of course, there's also a big beach w/ plenty of room to swim, soak up the sun, or just enjoy the water. The water is always so warm & clear. Unfortunately, the day I went this time, the weather had other plans. We were dealing w/ thunderstorms & rain, so we had to pack up all our BBQ stuff & leave. It was a bummer b/c we were ready to enjoy a nice beach day & BBQ all day, but safety comes 1st. Even though the weather cut our day short, I still enjoy coming to Coquina Beach. I'd come back again hopefully next time w/ plenty of sunshine so we can actually enjoy the whole day!

This is. A part of Anna Maria island I believe. The little shop sells alcohol and food but you can't take it on the beach. There are lifeguards and guards that drive around. I saw some people bbq by the parking lot so not sure if that's up for grabs or not

He provided us with dry bags and a quick instructional kayaking refresher, plus he helped us launch our kayaks. (Very helpful!) I say I "might" refer the company only because my friend was concerned about potential rain or lightning and she received mixed messages from someone at the office and someone outside of the office. (I think through email.) The group wound up turning around after roughly 1 hour of a 2.5 hour event. We were told by a young lady in the office that if we were rained out, we could receive a refund, but that hasn't happened to the best of my knowledge. {Full disclosure: I was not the primary contact person of the two of us, so maybe I am unaware of some change.} Nice folks all and all, they just might want to work on communicating weather updates and refund policies.

It was an hour plus drive south from my friends house in Gulfport to Anna Maria Island. Bean Point is the north point of the island. Be cautious if you park in a neighborhood as they will ticket you $75 if your car is touching the road. We find out the hard way:( We walked a few blocks and found a public beach access. When I saw the beach I couldn't believe my eyes. The water was a gorgeous color of blue/green! It was hard to belive this was Florida lol. We walked for a while and I found some pretty shells to take home from my adventure. This part of the beach wasn't too crowded which I loved. A few people were fishing and others were sitting and relaxing. While a few tourists were in the water. Brrrr it was too cold for me. I only let it hit my feet lol. I highly recommend checking out Bean Point Beach so you can see this lovely water and beach for yourself!

Weird and extended mc announcements. Then they start the video for the start of the show and suddenly stop. Lights stay off and then come on. Show finally starts. Intermission lights come on late and then go off. Intermission was in the dark. Only worth coming here for someone you really love.

Growing up in the island, The Center in all of its iterations was a space island kids could come for a lot of fun and community sports. As an adult, I love the fitness center at an affordable price. The only reason it's not 5 stars is due to the fitness center hours. Maybe someday we'll have separate access so we can work out after 8pm and on Sundays.
