I'm grateful for how easy and respectful the process was when selling my late husband's home. Highly recommend!

Yes some of the units are small, but they're very nice. For 800$ a month, I couldn't ask for more. The layout is very perfect with the huge island open to the apartment and the 10ft+ ceilings are amazing. My apartment looks nicer than many apartments that rent for 13-1400$ a month. The laminate floors and kitchen are beautiful. White appliances aren't for everyone, but I don't really care. Many apartments have carpeting and cheap looking cabinets. I only have a couple small complaints. The bathroom is weird because it's all-in-one with only a curtain for the shower area. The storage for clothing is also lacking, but with creative storage solutions that's not a big deal. My apartment faces Vincent, and it's so quiet (save for some minor construction noises in the morning) that I forget that I'm living downtown. I rarely-to-never hear my neighbors. The only noise you hear is hallway noise, but that's infrequent except for maybe on the weekends. The staff both in the main MRN office on the second floor and the leasing staff on East 4th are amazing. They're very attentive and on top of everything. The maintenance staff is very responsive and pretty much every time they've responded by the next day if not within the same day if the issue was reported early enough. Packages are delivered into your apartment which is great so you don't have to find time to go to the office to pick it up. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. I have friends who live downtown that wish they could have my apartment bc it's so nice and affordable.

Their office hours are during your work day IF they're even decide to come to the office. They're slow, do not accommodate anything for residents, and are just not easy to work with at all. They have very strict rules for the apartment building to be mid at best. The maintenance crew is just as bad. Nice guys, but you see them hanging around East 4th doing nothing a lot of the time. You will put in a request and might not get help the whole week. I've had my heat broken in the middle of winter, roaches, brown water, and a ceiling leak that went on for about 8 months. The location is good, don't get me wrong, but it's totally not worth what you have to go through. There are homeless people who sleep right outside the door. I would avoid moving here if I were you.

Stayed here for several days for a conference for our store this long weekend…read more Garage parking is located next door at 645 Prospect Road. The garage has some rather narrow driving and spots too. Reminds me of the parking garages in Germany. The apartment complex here is in a decent location and the layout is much more spacious than a hotel for sure. The rental unit was on the 5th floor. The building is quite big and expansive. Takes about 5-7 minute walk from the garage to the residences and stairs and elevators are on the opposite ends of the garage and the entrance to the apartment. Entry in and out of the garage and into the building complex from the garage requires a white key card. There are lock boxes at the main ramp by the exit or by the rail to the locked doors to the apartment building. The rental unit had two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen and lot area. The floors had big scratches and gouges out of it and the beds were foam and not super comfortable. The pillows were so flat and lacked any support for your head at all. The bathroom light bulb was out and made it fun for showering. There was no coffee maker at all. Odd there were men's pads and surface pads or mats in the bathroom, how random. The towels were thin and hardly soaked up much of anything at all.

Daniel, the property manager, and Myia, the assistant property manager are always so pleasant and take pride in taking care of the residents. We are from out of state and moved my son for a job downtown. Alee the leasing manager is amazing!…read more She was so helpful and great customer engagement throughout the entire process. We couldn't be more grateful. We toured 9 different places and the Leader has it all. Security was very important and they have security guard onsite which many other places advertise but is not the case. The apartments square ft for the price is the best. Centrally located and in walking distance to all the sporting venues.

Given what I pay and the structural/facility issues, its not worth it. I'm pretty easy going and an understanding person and make good money, but that being said I can't recommend anyone moving in to the Leader Building given the elevator situation. It's honestly unsafe. I have a young child (4 years old) and am worried daily about us getting stuck in the elevator (we live on the 10+ floor), and tenants get stuck in there at least monthly, if not, weekly. To pay roughly $2k/month and have insufficient elevators makes you question why you're living there. Not to mention the property manager has turned over twice in the last two years and there's been a diminishing amount of communication from them. We don't hear when elevators are down or there's other issues with the building. This is all in tandem with the cleaning staff turning over and the building having some trash when you walk in and spills on floors when there hadn't been any in the past. Do yourself a favor and look into the CityClub, Beacon, Standard, Intro, etc, you may pay a little more but there's better amendities, they're newer and I'm sure they keep them more cleanly.
