There also isn't a long wait to get an appointment; the first time I called to see him, they scheduled my appointment for three days later. I've never waited over five minutes past my appointment time and I've never just been left sitting in a patient room waiting for the doctor for more than five minutes either. Dr. Gennaoui is a genuinely caring person; he's always open to any questions you may have, takes his time, and keeps you informed. Anytime I've had him paged after hours, he has called back within ten-fifteen minutes, which is great, especially for a first-time mom! I work for Oakwood and all of my co-workers that know him/are his patients love him too. I highly recommend him to all of my friends...and to you!

Well his negligence caused my baby girl to be still born a week later... He didn't even make it to deliver her, said I "went too fast". What?! I was in labor for 8 hours... I just think he didn't care to come deliver a baby that had passed in the womb at midnight like because she was gone she didn't need any effort from him. Oh and I ended up hemorrhaging and getting a fever of 102.9 right after delivery so I was put on antibiotics and admitted for 3 days... Guy finally shows his face 9 hours later only to glance at my angel and tell me not to forget to bind my breasts and schedule a 6 week check up... Uhm heck not! He has zero compassion. I never went back to him and instead went back to my OB I had with my first which I should have just went to in the first place and I beat myself up every day wishing I would have just not cared about the distance and went to him because he would have been there that night and checked on me every day until I was released and he would have told me he was at least sorry for my loss and asked me how I was etc... It turns out it had a different issue that we had to settle later, but the receptionist's assumption was incorrect. At our second visit I asked the other people in the waiting room if they minded if we turned the TV off and they said they didn't mind, but the receptionist still refused to turn it off. She spoke quite rudely, too. And then she argued with my husband and tried to tell him that he didn't need the detailed receipt he knew he needed for healthcare reimbursement. Overall, given that drivers and caregivers have to wait for approximately two hours, and are not allowed to leave, and given the amount we are being charged, a coffeemaker in the waiting room seems like a very minimal convenience to expect and yet there is not one. A quiet option for those of us who prefer that would be an added bonus.
