One example of one of his bad jokes was during my breast exam him asking me to lean forward and shimmy thank God my boyfriend was not there he would of been pissed! I've been having a rough pregnancy and I've told him this and he has no compassion at all! Just all jokes. One day I went in with so much pain and all I hear as I'm laying down is him out in the area with the nurses talking so loudly and so obnoxiously I wanted to scream! At one point I started to just leave! His personality is just too over the top for me. He never seemed to be genuinely concerned for my pain. My mother didn't like him. Nor did my father or boyfriend I would not recommended him to my friend's and family that's for sure.

He's funny and has a different demeanor from many physicians. All of my family member who have interacted with him stated they felt I found a good doctor as well as he treated them with a lot of respect as well. The office is small but the office staff is overall nice and helpful. Just be warned sometimes when you call if you are put on hold you could be there for a long time. I've been on hold for more than 10 minutes several times before. If I wasn't at work it wouldn't have bothered me as much. The waiting room is very small and some patients bring their kids in with them and they are all over the place so it makes it feel very cramped at times. I randomly found Dr. Shin and am glad I did.

Dr stated "you get your money's worth because you always take up an hour of my time" after two 20 min appts. Dr scolded me about asking questions about new medical diagnosis' by stating "you always come with a book of questions." Unprofessional, egotistical, dismissive.
