I think this is a scam staffing agency. They called me multiple times and I didn't answer their calls. A while ago I tried to call their number which is located somewhere in New Jersey. One dude name Sandeep who was he told me he is a "recruiter", he discussed job opportunity about my recent job. First I asked if they have a local office here near in my place, so I could submit my application in person but the recruiter responded "none" our main head office is only located in New Jersey. Then he kept on saying I need to sign and agree on the documents that he sent via email for them to send my application to the client. I told him I received your email but I need to read the details. I googled their website and found out that they have multiple locations all over the place. Unfortunately, I checked the addresses of their offices and it was a deskhub, which is I guess a public wifi internet place and it isn't their eteam offices. I guess they just randomly picked some addresses and post it through via their website. Also, I asked this guy Sandeep where he located, he replied I'm working at home right now somewhere here in California. I asked him again "are you still working this late"? | "what time is your local time now"? that time my timestamp was 6:00 pm PST. he replied 9:15 pm local time. I said, "wow your working to hard man". After that, he kept bugging me to respond to his email that he sent. I told him ok I already saw your local office here near in my place so I just meet you up tom morning to see you and handover my application. then he hung up the phone. if you noticed he told me he was in California working on his desk at home. But his local time was 9:15 pm. I lived in California too and my local time was 6:00 pm PST. Looks like bogus to me. check their local offices for you to find out if they're legit or not. These people are extremely unprofessional and scatterbrained. Not sure if this job even existed. They didn't give me enough notice for an "interview." Called me a few hours before interview was supposed to take place. I was in jeans and at work. I couldn't just leave job at last minute to go to an interview I was only given a few hours notice for. The agent was unwilling to ask the company if I could come in the next day and was adamant I had to interview that day. I've worked for Fortune 500 companies that were much more flexible when scheduling interviews, so my interaction with eTeam was frustrating and suspect. I honestly don't understand how this place is still in business, especially after reading all these negative reviews. read more

They claim to be a staffing firm, but they keep calling and sending jobs that are completely unrelated to my field and I keep asking them to take me off their list. They speak very poor English (all have heavy Indian accents) and they just want to get through their scripts. read more

Do not bother doing business with this agency. They are extremely disorganized, lack communication, very demeaning, and unprofessional. The last communication I had was from their "lead" HR. Throughout the conversation, it was very clear she was misinformed about many things with my resume and past discussions I had with her recruitment team. She wanted me to come in the next day for a face to face interview and that her team would send me an email with details. It never arrived. Her tone throughout the conversation was very condescending. I have never been spoken to or approached in such a way by any other headhunter or recruiting agency. By the time I was able to contact this "lead" HR the next day to let her know, she apologized for the lack of email and stated all the candidate slots for the client have now been filled. I shortly was contacted by another agency that represented the same client. I was able to get interviewed through them, VACO, and later hired. The experience with VACO was so much smoother that it contrasted my experiences with dealing anyone from Eteam. read more

As many will reveal, here is the gist of eTeam Inc. After months of looking, interviewing and now waiting, I began to look outside my traditional network for roles while others firm up. Bad idea when it came to being found by eTeam. From the start the roles are very generic and do not lend to a lot of background of what the entire role consists of. Second, they then follow up with specific questions about you as a person as if recruiting from overseas or someone needing a J-1/H-1B visas...uh, as if someone is going to use some alias or uncertain they can work in the U.S. You're suppose to be recruiting professionals. Next, it provides an email address and contact number ((732) 248-1900)), with rarely an extension. Also, NO disrespect but going to be the one who calls it out. Most, if not all who I have been contacted by are Indian. No issue, until you call and no one understands you! So, either they are using scripted rhetoric from data mining or requisition materials direct from the HR department from within a company, no one seems to speak enough English to get through a phone call. Finally, even after replying back, I have yet to receive a call from anyone (as to the above, I called them) from within the company. Again, not sure how I ever signed up to begin with as I maintain a record on every role and online agency I affiliate with. Trust me and others who have posted; stay away! They've emailed numerous times with jobs that are not at all even a close fit with what my resume aligns with and they are definitely an overseas 3rd solicitation recruitment agency more than likely using a google phone number for the New Jersey area. They called my home multiple times before 6am and woke up my sick mother who is battling cancer and helped to ruin our holiday. Stay away from this service. Fraudulent. read more

If I could give this company negative stars, it would only be the start. I received a call from a Bwhana about a position in Wayne, PA. I could not understand her from start to finish. She proceeded to call me 4 more times asking me if I gave other information to recruiters calling me about the same position. After going online and doing a review search for her company, I decided against the idea of having this firm represent me. Reading how they manipulate resumes and add qualifications that the person in question doesn't truly have is behind unethical in nature and I do not want to be associated with that kind of business. I was told in order for them to submit on my behalf, I would need to respond, in kind, with my clean resume, answer their questions (which are odd and do not seem anywhere near legitimate), and also, submit back to them a statement which reads I allow them to represent me on my behalf to the company in question. I did not do any of this - gave her zero information in writing. I reached out to her by email and said I was not interested in the opportunity and to not submit my resume for consideration. 2-3 emails back and forth of her asking me for the information, I finally had to email her and say "I AM NOT INTERESTED - DO NOT SUBMIT ME." The next email I get back "We already have submitted you." Are you KIDDING ME? After I told you, IN WRITING no less, 4 TIMES DO NOT SUBMIT ME and you went against my wishes. I plan on reaching out to the better business bureau if someone has not already done so. Companies like this are the reason why good, honest, hard working people are unable to get good employment. The companies think WE are the liars when it's these shady "recruiting" firms. They consistently send you job alerts for positions that are not within your skill set or geographical region. You can request that they stop contacting you and that only verifies your address with them and they will contact you more. I blocked the eTeam domain after receiving numerous spam from their offshore Indian recruiters on irrelevant out-of-state jobs as repeatedly unsubscribing from their services never worked. I received a phone call from an eTeam offshore recruiter from India at 7:45 AM in the morning which woke me up even though my resume says "please no phone calls" and my phone service has a "solicitors please hang up" message. The eTeam offshore recruiter from India was rude, unprofessional and never apologized for waking me at 7:45 AM. I could hardly understand him because of his Indian accent. The position that he woke me up about was nowhere near where I lived. You do not want to work with this unprofessional offshore Indian operation. Where do I start?! Recruiting companies are notorious for poor ethics and dubious practices but this one makes the rest look saint. I live in Canada and was contacted by an eTeam stuffer whose email signature indicated she was located in NJ, but the timestamps on my emails when she replied back showed that she's half the planet away. As a Canadian I would definitely prefer to work with an agency that has at very least an office in my country. But the people from their Mississauga, Ont. "office" where still in India, which resulted in long waiting for replies, unintelligible accents (and I work with people who immigrated from India a few years ago and their communication skills and accents are not a problem). They sent me for an interview after accepting the rate I was charging, then disappeared for 2 weeks (never replied to my emails) and resurfaced back for the background checks. those checks were ridiculous and took about 3 weeks to complete. I had to send them my paystubs from contracts I had 5 to 10 years back because they couldn't verify my employment by simply calling the HR. Then they took forever to set me up with my new company because of the public holidays in India. then they told me that they need 1 last thing: I should give them a better rate than the one we already agreed upon. Then they told me my actual employer would not be the telecommunication company I applied to, but the Indian-based off-shore Tata Consulting. Then it was another week before they gave me my real start date. Then there were 4 timesheets I needed to fill every week, submit bi-monthly and wait for 30 (thirty!!) days to get paid. It's now 17 July and I still haven't gotten paid for the work I did in late May. And the only response I got from them was that, when the payment does come, they would deduct the background check fee (!!). I refused to pay that fee unless they produce me my written consent for paying it as it is not acceptable practice. My advice: If they send you an opportunity you find interesting, contact your trustable agent and they will be able to apply for the same job. read more

I received the messages from Eteam in Indeed, and I believed those messages are edited by simply copying and pasting since I got messages from two different people and the content are almost the same! They call me to ask me to provide some basic information by replying to their email, because the job position is the one I am looking for, I send my resume and also basic personal information. But then they ask me to send them the copy of my EAD card, I realized it might be a spam. So I copied the job description and search online, you know what, the job description is similar to another company's job description! If I was able to rate 0 stars I would, but 1 is the lowest I can rate. This company completely screwed me over. They told me I had been selected for a job at a CVS minute clinic near my home in Ohio. I SIGNED A CONTRACT! I did all of the pre employment paper work. I got testing done. Drug screens. PPD testing. All during this process there was very little communication and a lack of professionalism from the HR department. Little to no information about the position was given to me and the man in the HR department I was working with was very pushy and a little rude at times. Regardless, I completed everything I was asked to complete and was ready to start my new job in January. Yesterday, A week before I was supposed to start, I received a phone call from the recruiter asking if I could switch to a further location because the agreed upon location didn't have a position for me. I told him I could not, and that I did not sign up for a job that far from home. He told me he would contact the company and get back to me. I have no heard anything further from him or anyone in the company. I have reached out multiple times. No answer. No text or emails back. I quit my current job to be with this company and now I don't have a job. Im honestly not sure if this was ever going to be a job or if it was all a big scam from the start. I am extremely disappointed and horrified by how terrible this company is and I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Please don't trust these people. read more

It's hard to add to what had already been said about this miserable agency. They have no ethics, hire "recruiters" who barely speak the minimum amount of English to hold a basic conversation, do not read resumes before contacting you (although I hear it doesn't matter what is on your resume as they will tweak it to suit their needs) and the list goes on. I live in Canada and on every one of my job site profiles it says I am not looking to re-locate. Every day I get an email from someone about a job somewhere in the US, some of the postings even clearly say "US citizens only". They don't even read the postings nevermind your resume, just unbelievable. They will even call even though it again says clearly to not contact me by phone. The best experience was during a phone interview with a reputable recruiter I hear my inbox ding in fairly rapid succession over a couple of minutes. I took a peak while on the call to see what was going on and 5 recruiters from this place all contacted me about the same position, 2 by direct email, 1 Via Indeed email and two by LinkedIn. This would *never* happen at a legitimate ethical self respecting recruitment agency. It was like witnessing a documentary when they throw chum to the sharks. It was so preposterous I had to tell the recruiter I was talking to, he groaned and I know I heard him shaking his head. He said in controlled anger that this is what gives good recruiters a bad name. Finally i suspect all these Eteam recruiters are not based in North America, I have yet to see a name that wasn't South Asian. This isn't meant to come across "that way" but it's like buying a house from a person who lives in the other side of the planet, they have no idea what the market is, regulations, by-laws or what is appropriate for the buyer, they have no investment in you, just the sale commission Enough said. read more

The following is my personal opinion based on my personal experience. Your mileage may vary and is here for educational purposes only. This company is a bunch of con artists running scams. They presented me with an opportunity, I agreed to have them represent me. The they sent me an MSA and told me that I had to agree to the terms of the MSA before they even got me talking to the client. I said no, let's have the interview with the client first. After we had the interview with the client they told me that I would have an offer But made no actual offer, instead pressed me to agree to an MSA. The terms were monthly invoicing and net 45 payments. This meant that I would not get paid for 75 days and it was a 6-8 week project. This was a bit concerning since if I went on a 6-8 weeks project and in my terms I Don't get paid until week 10 who is to say that they would ever pay me at all... plus one needs to sustain expenses and put food on the table and gas in the tank for those 10 weeks while you are waiting to get paid. In their MSA they had New Jersey as the choice of legal venue which I told them Was not acceptable as the project was in MA and I lived in MA. The MSA also contained other nonsense such as I had to stay on the project forcefully If they asked me to which is a clear violation of MA employment laws. They said that their legal team would get in touch with me to work out the MSA. Some lady called me and told me that she was the attorney for eTeam. I asked her if she was licensed in any US state and she said "no, I a layer in India" I asked for an actual address of their company in NJ and they would not even give me that. They sent me a form containing a table of information they Needed to do a background check in an e-mail but it contained no disclosures and no proper background request form that is required by law. They also modified my resume without my permission and I found out about this accidentally. Anyways, I ended up not working with them. In my interpretation they are a SCAM and everyone should be aware of how they practice. I stayed away from them and will not work with them in the future. read more

CFO is very friendly to his team members and many others. His transparency, honesty and long hours of talking gave us great insight into how the owner pocketed the salary cut of all employees in the garb of COVID and then utilized global companies for Tax evasion. It is just unbelievable how low can companies stoop to make profits without thinking about the employees who have given years of hard work, long hours and were paid less than they deserve. If a company earned for 20 years from employees and does not have the will to support even once when a problem arises you know how employee centric the company or the culture within the company would be. Some insight into the culture includes shouting on employees on joint calls, making everyone feel that they do not hold any value and can be taken off if they don't fall in line, not ever talking logic but only using pressure tactics. Eteam will ask you for your social security number and birthday information. They also do not keep in touch when you follow up with them. They claim to have information about current positions in your area but I called the company to verify the job and they clearly state that they do not go through a 3rd party online agency and directed me to their human resources who also verified that and then sent me to their website to verify open positions. I have not found substantial evidence that eteam is a real company. read more

I was contacted by Eteam to work in Support for Google.I had a face to face interview at a Google San Jose location.Things seemed to be going along well until the on boarding from hell started.The recruiter was very difficult to understand.He seemed to only know how to stay on script.I sent them all of my W2's from my previous employers from Bay area tech and health companies.Proof of employment was verified with their third party background check agency which I received a copy of.For some reason one job I had as a Independent contractor 3 years ago,was not verified. I emailed a copy of my insurance license and even copies of my commission checks.After explaining to Eteam, that I was an Insurance agent over the phone for 20 minutes the supposed Supervisor says"You're sending me your w2's right?" OMG I was a independent agent on commission I just explained that. I am supposed to start work Monday if they decide to accept my explanation My last job in technical support was verified from last year . It seems that job would be more important to verify than one from three years ago..Such a horrible experience so far.If it ends up being positive and things turn around I will update my review. read more

At first I told them to stop calling me politely, then used yelling and swear words, then used total insult stuff, they keep calling. This has made me convinced that Indians are helpless without the West's help and money. No wonder a handful of British controlled a sub-continent of those Indians for 200 years. I did a phone interview and an in-person interview that I was sent on by Eteam. I called Eteam right after the interview to give feedback. The recruiter said that he would contact me as soon as he heard back from the company. I emailed him a few days later for an update, and he didn't respond for a day. Then I'll called him, and he said the company chose another candidate. He was never going to contact me with the results. read more

After reading all the reviews I am positive this company is worthless. After getting multiple job posting emails for jobs that are unrelated to my background or experience, a girl finally sent me something interesting but it was a 6 month contract position (with high chances of being extended, don't they all say that?). I emailed her back saying I am only interested in full-time permanent position with benefits. Who in the right mind would leave a full-time job and take up a 6-month contract position? Did she not get it? The next day she called me twice, sent an email and text messaged me to discuss the position. What was there to discuss? Did she not read my email? When I called her, she started giving me the details of the company without asking me anything about my current job. There used to be a time when people would actually interview with recruiters before interviewing with employers. But those days are gone. The automated process has made the recruiters like robots or rather brainless people who do not even review resumes before approaching the candidate. When you call the company, it is so noisy in the background, it sounded like they are running a call center. After getting multiple emails, I had to politely and firmly email one of them to review my resume before sending me job postings rather than sending whatever to probably a bunch of other people too. Automation/technology has completely made the recruiting experience worthless and inefficient and eTeam is a perfect example of it. read more

I must receive 10 emails from these people each week. Rarely are the jobs they're hawking a match to my skillset, they're always for some short-term contract position, and nowhere near where I live. (Pro tip 1: Only call candidates when you are fairly sure that there's a skills match; if the majority of the job description contains keywords that don't appear on the candidate's resume, move on to someone else. Pro tip 2: learn a little something about the city where you're trying to fill a job; when candidates tells you that a 90+ minute commute is not desirable, don't continue to press them... listen to them. For example, Peoria is not a reasonable commute from Chicago's North Suburbs.) Many times I'll receive duplicate emails from 3-4 eTeam recruiters for the same position within minutes (again, requiring many skills I do not have). I try to be polite and reply back that these jobs are not what I'd be interested in pursuing due to a.) the major skillset mismatch, b.) my lack of interest in short duration contracts, or (especially) c.) that I'm not interesting in moving cross-country for a contract but those replies are, apparently, going unread as they continue to send inappropriate job listings. I'm about a week away from adding eTeam's IP address to my spam filtering. read more

eTeam Inc. represents the textbook definition of awful recruiting. Nearly every other staffing firm will interview you by phone, get an idea of what you're seeking, and input it in a database or put notes on your resume to target their search. Not eTeam, though. Evidently despite recruiting technical people, creating a candidate database is too much effort on their part. So every time they e-mail you, it's like you've never spoken with them before. One form letter after another with a contract across the country, something way outside your pay range, or a position that doesn't even fit your skill set because they hit on a keyword search. You'll get dozens of these per month, to the point that you start recognizing the senders and they still have no idea who you are. If you wanted to apply to 100 jobs for which you're unqualified, you could simply go on any job board yourself. But these "recruiters" think they're doing candidates a favor with their monkeys-on-typewriters approach. All because they're too inept to spend five minutes printing a resume, calling the number on it, asking about salary / location / desired title, and affixing a Post-it note. Yet somehow they keep their jobs instead of the out-of-work programmers they're recruiting. Don't waste your time. read more
