eTeam is NOT a scam. I found a great job through them making $29 per hour and working from home as a graphic designer. My company decided to hire me on as a permanent employee after 9 months. I never would have found a job like this without eTeam. The only downside is that they are all from India, so it sounds like a scam, and their accents are hard to understand. I was reticent at first and wondered if they were legit, but once I got the job I realized they were indeed legit. The onboarding process requires alot of paperwork, but once that's over everything is okay. You just have to submit your timesheet every week. They are all very helpful when I have problems and have been very patient with me. I would highly recommend finding a job through them. Don't worry, it's NOT a scam! Don't be scared away by their accents. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because their accents are hard to understand sometimes. Other than that, they deserve a 5 because of their hard work and customer service skills. Give them a chance. You might find an amazing job through them. read more

My actual assignment was fine but I regret using this company. Very disorganized, too many people calling, sending texts, and emails. Prior to assignment start date, I was contacted nearly EVERY DAY for 3 weeks by ETeam to submit some document immediately, or go somewhere, but when I questioned them about anything, I received no response until asking a second or third time. As a Lead Nurse, I was to be paid at a higher rate than a Staff Nurse. Even though this was confirmed by the hospital, ETeam did not honor the agreement and stated that both nurses were paid the same. This was clearly exploitation of my role and pay since I had more responsibilities, projects, and duties than a Staff Nurse. They advised me on a Friday of an online orientation I needed to attend on Monday. It was the MOST STRESSFUL onboarding experience I've ever experienced. The other ETeam nurses also complained of numerous issues regarding pay and onboarding with this company. This company is afliated with AYA. I advise, skip ETeam and deal directly with AYA. "Treat a nurse well, she will tell 10 nurses. Mistreat a nurse, she will tell 100 nurses." This is a well known truth in Contract Nursing. read more

eTeam may or may not be a scam, but they are certainly unprofessional. A recruiter named Komal Deep reached out via InMail, requesting for resume, phone number and time to connect. I provided the info, including 3 different dates and time frame that might work for me during my current work break/lunch hours. - Unprofessional #1: KD responded "what is your best time"... I responded that she may select from the selected date/time. She responded "we will connect on Mon at 1PM PST." - Unprofessional #2: Monday at 1-1:22pm, no call. I messaged to inquire. "Apologies for this... I was in another meeting. You mentioned that you are available in between 1-3 PM PST." (?!) As a recruitment agency, if they are not interested in vetting their staff or providing basic training on professionalism (eg. call at the time you said you'd call), then it is clearly not worth my or your time. read more

Horrible! Would be nice to be paid on time or paid. English skills lack. Lacks professionalism.

I have my resume posted on another online job search service. This resume states that a) I live in New York City, and b) I have 30 years of EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT experience. Despite this rather straightforward resume - one of eTeam's Senior Technical Recruiters emailed me with an opportunity working as a SURGICAL ASSISTANT, in ROCHESTER. Whether or not this team is a scam is a separate issue - clearly they do NOT screen their job candidates well to make sure that they are a good match for the open positions. I recommend avoiding them (unless you want to hire a circus clown into a position as a rocket scientist or something). read more

My experience with E-team was very memorable. I accepted a travel position as a nurse that was approximately 8hours away from home. It was in no way easy to execute. However, my onboarding specialist walked me through every step. Going to the doctors, boarding my flights etc. Although everything was done remotely, the team was very attentive in every aspect and I would definitely accept another contract with them in the future. read more

eTeam is a complete disaster of a company, trust the reviews and stay away. I didn't see them as I interviewed with their client and they only mentioned eTeam once my onboarding was set to begin. And that's when everything started tumbling downhill. First of all, their onboarding process is disjointed and they are really bad at verifying employment, so be prepared to have extensive proof. But okay I told myself, it was just the one time process and after it's done then the work can begin. After almost a month of background checks and employment verification, I was assured I was set to start working when my start date came. A week or so later I get an automated email stating that my start date was moved to three days from the time of that email. No apology, no asking if I could accommodate that quick of a change. I tried emailing and calling, didn't hear back (be prepared for this). A couple days later, I get an email from the onboarding contact to confirm that I knew about the date and client change. I stated that we had agreed upon a start date and if that needed to be changed an ask is expected, but that the email they sent didn't indicate anything about a client change. She then informed me that I'd be working for another client but the job is the same. Which is laughably impossible as the original client was a public government agency, and the new one was a private company. She kept assuring me that the job, pay and schedule would remain the same. I requested a job offer stating that. She said she would email me back the next day with it. I never got the email. I followed up and she eventually sent a new job description, in it, it clearly stated a different schedule and a completely different job. At this point they have changed the entire job (which I asked during the interview process to confirm it would not change), the start date, and a completely incompatible schedule; not to mention their outright lies/incompetence. As such, I told the contact that they have reneged on their job offer and that I am withdrawing my resume for candidacy, this was weeks before the agreed start date on the job offer and on the I9 paperwork. A week later I get a parcel in the mail from them, it is their equipment. They erroneously sent a laptop for a job I never agreed to and to someone who isn't even their employee. This was over a month ago. Over the course of the past month I have been asking over 6 people for a shipping label, they've committed to sending it multiple times and never do. On top of that, they continue to send emails regarding the job/training/HR policies because their turnover rate must be astronomical so there's always a "new point of contact". I'm now burdened with storing their equipment after they wasted months of my time and left me hanging dry by reneging on their offer. Stay away. read more

A staffing agency that persistently with great resilience email job candidates for openings which I responded "no thank you" numerous times that falls into deaf ears. The origin of the sender is a automated email generated to job candidates and when contacting eTeam there is NEVER a response from a human being. Horrible communication line. Yes, this staffing agency does request for personal and confidential details from job candidates via email as per previous Yelp reviewers stated. Why disclose such personal and confidential pertinent details via email when it goes into the cyberspace void as any John Doe and Jane Doe can gain access and create scams?! eTeam is NOT your traditional staffing agency, despite having global physical office locations, they do NOT invite candidates on site for a interview and then offer to complete an application. Every communication transaction is via email which is stolid and impersonal. I had to BLOCK their emails through my email provider. Look away! Nothing but excessive dismay! GIGO Mendacious flagrant! Run! If this company emails you, just delete/spam the email. I've been a contract employee for over 6 years now, working with excellent agencies like Aquent, Creative Circle, Synergis...and I can seriously say eTeam is the worst. They contacted me about a position with a social media company. It paid very well, and not knowing any better, I said sure, submit me. The next day, a recruiter from a firm I knew well also contacted me about the same job, but it was too late. I'd already been submitted by eTeams. What a nightmare I was about to go on. The recruiter texts, emails, and calls. I did get the interviews, but the first interview? He added some other recruiter's name in the space for the person I'd be interviewing with, so I had no idea who my actual interview was with...(great job eTeam)... Then, I get a note the next day, from another recruiter at eTeam, telling me they were submitting me for another role (they hadn't even discussed with me...)... I did get the first job I was submitted for, but the fun had just begun! The recruiters wanted references. Fine, I submitted those, and they reached out to my references--asking how they knew 'Carrie' and would they recommend her? My name is Melissa. They continued to send me the same documents over and over again, saying they needed to be signed...when I had proof I'd signed them. When I wasn't replying to their emails within minutes, they'd also call and text. I've never ever worked with a company that is this unprofessional. I'll never work with them again. Assuming this role ever does start, that is...still not sure it's for real. Again, if they email you, spam it! read more

My significant other was hired through E Team recently to work as a health professional in a major retail pharmacy chain. We were concerned reading all the reviews on google and yelp regarding E Team being a scam agency. E Team is definitely not a scam. His recruiter was very prompt and professional (though her accent was a little difficult to understand.) From initial email to actually working at his position took about 3-4 weeks, so he was a little bit antsy during the hiring process. He is currently loving his job and his direct deposits are always on time. E Team is a reliable agency. read more

eTeam employment agency is absolutely terrible, horrible, awful, not worth dealing with. This mornining 1/18/2023 these mutha fuckas called me at 3:46a. damn m. in the morning!!!!! She said her name was Shivani or something like that. I initially thought it was an emergency call at that hour. It scared me out of my sleep and wits. I was so fuckin MAD!!!!! They send emails at 2am, 3am 4am and I have also received calls at 6am. They are too damn desperate to get people to sign up with them. This is not the first time they have done this. They need to research where in the hell they are calling before they pick up the god damn phone. You can not understand what they are saying. Their accent is soooooo thick, that it is so frustrating trying to understand what they are saying, then they act like they are getting irritated when you ask they to repeat something. I tell them to email me with the JD, pay rate and location and I would respond to that email. These people seem as though they have to get a certain number of emails and calls out to candidates and that they have a quota to reach. I have NEVER gotten an interview with any of those funny talking Indians from India in the past 3 years I have been looking for a job. They are the arm pits from 3 weeks of wrestling with a skunk. They stink beyond a hot sewer tank!!!!!!!!!!!!! When any of these Indians from India come a callin, RUN!!!!! They will take your info and put some other Indian person's name on your resume and background then submit it saying they could not find a qualified American candidate. I have well over 30 years of proven experience and only get calls from their asses but never an interview. I think the FBI needs to investigate them for fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Hello everyone ;-). I'm a proof that eteam is not a scam. Eteam got me a new job in UPS, earning $25/hr. Today I already got my first salary with them. First, let me start by saying this company IS indeed legit and has been established since 1999. They have a website listing their client roster and are located in New Jersey. A few months ago a recruiter happened to find my resume on Indeed and brought up a possible position at a financial institution and that's how I started my relationship with them. Since initial contact, they sent me out on numerous interviews and I received an offer which I accepted. I live in NY and this agency is located in NJ so they have to Skype your initial interview with them before they send you out on interviews in order to let the client know they have seen you and can vouch for you. It also appears that they have access to a job database that most job placement agencies use which is why they have access to information for numerous current job postings available. The recruiter prepped me for each of my interviews and asked me to call him when I was done to give him feedback on how it went so they are very hands on which I appreciated. Now regarding the onboarding process once you've accepted a job, (as they are the agency responsible for placing me) I have to say that is a nightmare because I don't believe the person in charge of onboarding on behalf of the client is experienced enough in placing candidates in the financial sector so I'm sure onboarding me with the company is a learning experience for her. To summarize my experience as a whole I can say that they sent me on numerous legitimate interviews and have always had more in the pipeline if I was interested. Also had I not been sent to a major financial institution on a few interviews, I probably wouldn't have given them the time of day since they are located in New Jersey and I am in NY. Needless to say, they kept working on my behalf and were persistent in placing me where I wanted to be and for that I am grateful. Please note that the recruiters for this company have thick accents but don't let that hinder you in dealing with them because this company is a legitimate staffing agency and my experience with them is proof enough for me. read more

Of course, I gave the interviewer a copy of my original resume and told them that what E-team submitted was not what I submitted to them. To whom it may concern. It is nice that you people are trying to find jobs and place jobless people. But there a problem here, I feel like I am trying to purchase a car at the car dealership. I get jobs via email that i am not interested in and I get 3-4 phone calls from the same person where I keep hanging up on. It is good that you are trying to recruit, but it is bad to keep annoying your clients with phone calls and voice mails. This place is most definitely a scam. When I first dealt with them one guy said he had a job at genentech. After a phone interview with him he told me to fill out some paperwork in order for him to submit me for the genentech position. Well, that was the last I heard from him. He couldn't have the common courtesy to give me any update when in the previous weeks he probably called my phone 4 or 5 times a day and was very pushy. Now I get recruiters from here constantly bombarding me with emails for jobs that are either way below my current career level in pharmaceuticals, way above my career level that I obviously wouldn't qualify for if they had looked at my resume, and even many times jobs that have nothing to do with what I do. When I don't respond they send multiple emails, and blow my phone up like a jealous girlfriend and when you do take the time to talk with you they give you the run around or just treat you as an object to make them money and not a human being. As many will reveal, here is the gist of eTeam Inc. After months of looking, interviewing and now waiting, I began to look outside my traditional network for roles while others firm up. Bad idea when it came to being found by eTeam. From the start the roles are very generic and do not lend to a lot of background of what the entire role consists of. Second, they then follow up with specific questions about you as a person as if recruiting from overseas or someone needing a J-1/H-1B visas...uh, as if someone is going to use some alias or uncertain they can work in the U.S. You're suppose to be recruiting professionals. Next, it provides an email address and contact number ((732) 248-1900)), with rarely an extension. Also, NO disrespect but going to be the one who calls it out. Most, if not all who I have been contacted by are Indian. No issue, until you call and no one understands you! So, either they are using scripted rhetoric from data mining or requisition materials direct from the HR department from within a company, no one seems to speak enough English to get through a phone call. Finally, even after replying back, I have yet to receive a call from anyone (as to the above, I called them) from within the company. Again, not sure how I ever signed up to begin with as I maintain a record on every role and online agency I affiliate with. Trust me and others who have posted; stay away! Best to everyone still searching. read more
