The lady working the gift shop is very pleasant and sweet. My only complaint is that at times they don't lack timely follow-ups with patients. This lady made eye contact several times and not once came up to say anything. She went on and on about concerts, Tech9 and etc. Once I got seen 13 min after my appointment time, she remained loud and unprofessional the entire time. Figuring she would at some point stop talking and allow the PTs to work with their patients, but no this went on for the entire time that I was there. When I get up to check out and pay my co-pay, she turns around and says oh I checked your insurance and it's gonna be $100 today and not $25 as I previously told you on your first appt. I looked at her in shock as this should've been advised at my last appt. to give me the option if I wanted to proceed or not and or when I got there and I waited for 13 minutes while she ran her mouth and talked the entire time. I of course asked her why wasn't this advised in the beginning as this was not my first time there. Her response was oh yeah, I guess I could have handled it better in a sarcastic tone. Of course I paid because it is the right thing to do but when I tell you, she needs to find a job that she can talk the entire time and or be quiet and work accordingly to do things the correct way so that patients don't get a shock factor. This could have been advised after my last appointment when I paid but clearly her talking is more important than handling business. Doubt if I'll go back to this one. Will be finding another one. Her customer service skills need sharpening as they are not the greatest and it's not about the money it is about her office manners and due diligence of doing her job.

Then I was persuaded to provide my insurance saying it would be cheaper or if it wasn't they would change me back to self pay special $49 ONLY. Now today they send another bill for $45 and when I provide my secondary insurance, they say they aren't contracted and charge my card without my permission. I then fell in August of 2020 and several other times at home and finally in April of 2021 it was discovered that I had broken part of the prosthetic and had to undergo another surgery to have it repaired. After having this done I was referred to them by someone that was very satisfied with the services they received from Athletico Physical Therapy. I had undergone the rehab portion before and was not looking forward to it. I knew that it would be hard work to get back my range of motion, strength and flexibility. I am still a patient and Alyssa is absolutely professional, friendly, thorough and efficient. She consistently asks how I am and how things are going, provides me with feedback and an updated home exercise program. I like to swim so she even assisted with giving me exercises that I do at the pool for part of my home program. This has been a terrific experience with physical therapy, absolutely professional, friendly, thorough, efficient and the entire staff treats you and makes you feel like family.
