Not only were the grounds beautiful but the wine was delicious (love their petit sirah) and everyone there was so kind and welcoming. Their vineyard is quiet and serene with a beautiful pool in the middle. There are areas to taste in the shade and sun as well. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the wine but also very pleasant to talk to in general. We can't wait to come back.

For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! Definitely a good value for the quality of the sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a tangy aioli sauce. Quite delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. But I have found more and more things I like in Galt, including some excellent restaurants. Usually, I only remember one thing about Galt. The flea market in Galt is very famous, and It is the only thing that made me come to the City of Galt a few times until I visited and took a closer look in recent years. Galt is changed to become more attractive. Galt has some restaurants that have become my favorites. I also like to check out their downtown area when I'm there. The traffic in Galt is much better than in Sacramento or Elk Grove most of the time. Parking is way easier than most cities in Northern California. I know I'm going to come to Galt more often now.

I think people know Galt for its flea market. They have a nice downtown with eateries and shops. They also have a nice Fourth of July festivities. Food trucks from all over. By the end of the planning process, I had unofficially promoted her to honorary bridesmaid status. When we arrived, Valeria and Kayla were fantastic. They immediately jumped into "surprise mode," graciously playing along by checking us in at the host stand and escorting us to our table without giving anything away. Their teamwork helped keep the bride-to-be completely unsuspecting until she walked into a room full of family and friends. Valeria also accommodated my request to play a millennial throwback playlist, and every hit had us singing along--it was the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. Our server, Skylar, was equally wonderful. She made excellent wine recommendations, was attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and truly made us feel at home. Even after our reserved time had ended, she warmly invited us to stay and continue enjoying ourselves. The only bad thing for us, since we live so far away, is that the food tastings were done during other events. The idea behind this made a lot of sense- it was so we could try the food in bulk just like our big day- but driving multiple times out that way @ 1.5 hours each direction was a little burdensome for us.
