I blame myself for being impulsive and wanting a haircut last minute, just picking any salons nearby that is available, so whatever is the result, 100% my fault. I called to check if i can come in for a haircut and was told yes. I came in right away. Upon entering, I was welcomed, she asked if she can wash my hair i said yes. I went to my chair after, showed her a picture of what i want, asked me if i want bangs, confirmed if she can do curtain bangs, she said yes. She cut my hair with less than 10 snips, then focused on the bangs. After she cut the bangs, she blowdried it for a long time trying to style it, when it dried i checked it was so ugly. I didnt mind at this point it's already done, it will grow anyways. Then she told me im done when my hair is still wet, i asked her if she can blow dry ill pay extra, she told me haircut and shampoo is 30, blow dry is extra, but didnt disclose how much extra. She dried my hair and the outcome is way different from the picture i showed. I wanted to ask if she can layer it more but i hesitated and thought that i can just do it myself at home. I was already unhappy at this point. When i came to pay, she was charging me $78.00? Mind you this is not a high end salon, this is a regular salon in the corner, who would believe a hair cut cost 78?? She said it's the blowdry part that's expensive, if she had told me that in the beginning i wouldve left with wet hair. I still gave her a $10.00 tip, so i spent $88 dollars today for a haircut that made me mad. We come to places like these to relax and gain confidence, if we leave feeling mad and disappointed, i dont know what else to say. Again it's my fault for making a bad decision. So for those who want to get a haircut, especially if you are a busy mom like me who has no spare time, do your research and make an appointment to your favorite and trusted salon. You'll save time and money and be actually satisfied.

It's funny because I have never known whether or not I am Capricorn or Aquarius as I am born on January 20th which is a cusp day. I have assumed for several years that I must be Aquarius as January 20th is the final day of Capricorn. And so this all got me thinking about astrology. Upon arriving at Sutra, my husband and I checked in and sat down waiting for our turn. Chetna, is the lady who usually does my eyebrows. Next, this gentleman walks in who i'm assuming is her regular customer, signs in and proceeds to ask how long it's going to be. Chetna then finishes with the guy she already had in her chair and calls over the gentleman who walked in after I did. My face said it all so she told him to wait and that she would do my eyebrows first, as she should've from the beginning because I was next on the list. I proceeded to tell her that she could go on with his eyebrows and that I would wait but she insisted on me being first. I sat in her chair and she walked away outside for about 5 mins before coming back. She did my eyebrows in a hurry and to me felt like she had no care in the world. I wasn't even in her chair for 5 mins before she was done. She barely trimmed them and didn't even thread all the hair off and left patches. I will NEVER return to this establishment. I will go back to Brow Arc at the mall where they take their time and care about their customers. To think I wanted to try somewhere new and help out a business but I was wrong.
