I have no DUI haven't been pulled over or nothing. They told me, my insurance is going up because of my area. I've been in my area 5 years. I'm still waiting for my money back. I called to dispute it and it was removed because they couldn't find documentation. They were just looking for a reason to not give me the discount that was promised. Time for renewal, what a joke. This review is for progressive home & Auto at no specific location, just the company in general…read more... Scammers. Had auto and rent policy with them. They added driver to our policy without our authorization- driver does not even reside here, nor drive. Sent us bill for a ridiculous amount . Immediately, upon receipt of this bill, Called to cancel our policy and they only cancelled auto, and never cancelled the rent policy-we do not even live at that house for months. They are still calling to try to collect for the auto policy we did not authorize. Do NOT go with this place. They truly deserve zero stars. If they are scanning residents of the house, why wouldn't they call and ask about it, instead of automatically adding them and billing people without their knowledge or authorization. It seems like these messes could be avoided, but progressive sadly has to trick people into paying for something they don't need. State Farm is much better and cheaper.

Be extremely careful with this insurance company. My mom went there only to renew her auto tag, but…read morethe agent transferred her insurance to their company without her permission, just to earn an extra fee. They handed her papers to sign and made her believe it was only for the tag renewal. She had no idea her insurance agent had been switched until she later tried to update her car insurance. This kind of behavior is misleading, dishonest, and completely unacceptable.

In September 2025, I received a disturbing letter from my insurance State Farm the Underwriting…read moreTeam that they were giving me 1 month to look for another Insurance Carrier as they were planning to drop us permanently on our auto Insurance that we had with them for many years. They explained that unfortunately my wife was involved in a terrible auto accident that almost killed her. Entering January 2025, we were heading home, and Vehicle # 2 ran through a red light at a speed of 90 miles per hour in a 45-mile zone, that destroyed my mini coop convertible. The car was destroyed, and air bags deployed were almost set off fire due to the impact. Prior to that in the year 2024, the month of February, a box truck went into my wifes lane and destroyed her left driver side on the mini coop she was driving. All 3 accidents were clearly not my wifes fault and State Farm who we had insurance with on all three accidents having my mini coop convertible, decided to drop us and said we were involved in too many accidents. Clearly it was not my wifes fault with these careless drivers that should not be driving on the road. It was soo disappointing trying to resolve this issue when State Farm knew and had Police reports, pictures, videos, cameras and I am certain they had their Investigation Team that it was not my wifes fault but still decided to drop us due to accidents that my wife did not cause. I also reached out to State Farm to explain to them that they had wrong information about her husband and tried to clear my wifes name on State Farm Policy. Atlantic Insurance Group is our Auto Insurance that opened there doors for my wife & I...Appreciate it...I highly recommend Emmanuel J. Acosta!!!! They had me as the husband involved in all three accidents in which that information, they had on the computer system was incorrect. By having this information wrong at their end, it did not allow me to shop around and go with Progressive or Gieco or Allstate due to State Farm not fixing this information on their computer system. In this letter that I received in the mail I had 60 days to resolve this issue and State Farm made it very difficult to clear up my wifes name and get rid of the wrong information they had about me. In trying to resolve this devasting issue because I needed insurance to go to work and try to survive in this rough economy, while struggling to find an affordable coverage for my Honda accord which was my auto vehicle because my wifes mini coop was destroyed due to the January 2025 accident, I spoke to a young man named Emmanuel J Acosta - 220 Agent / CSR representative where his office is located at 1750 N. University Drive, Suite 227 , Coral Springs, Florida. I explained the scenario I was facing with State Farm. He not only beat the quotes I received from other companies but also took the time to walk me through every detail of my policy. He was extremely patient and helped me understand the different coverage options, something my previous agent never did. The process was stress-free, and he treated me like a priority, not just a policy number. I highly recommend Emmanuel J. Acosta and this Agency for their outstanding service. What a difference a good independent agent makes! I have finally auto Insurance!!! It has been an excellent experience, and I'm very grateful for his expertise. He ensured I received top-notch coverage. Emmanuel made it his mission to get me the coverage I needed to be able to go to work. Again, none of the accidents mentioned above was my wifes fault and I am very, very, very disappointed on the way after 20 years of being with State Farm how they decided to drop my wife and I like a heartbeat. This was not a fair game. Thank you, Emmanuel, for all the extras that you did to make this happen at your end. All the paperwork was handled; he made the switch completely painless. Hes the best in understanding your needs. Tony E & Maria E
