I called to dispute it and it was removed because they couldn't find documentation. They were just looking for a reason to not give me the discount that was promised. Time for renewal, what a joke. This review is for progressive home & Auto at no specific location, just the company in general.... Scammers. Had auto and rent policy with them. They added driver to our policy without our authorization- driver does not even reside here, nor drive. Sent us bill for a ridiculous amount . Immediately, upon receipt of this bill, Called to cancel our policy and they only cancelled auto, and never cancelled the rent policy-we do not even live at that house for months. They are still calling to try to collect for the auto policy we did not authorize. Do NOT go with this place. They truly deserve zero stars. If they are scanning residents of the house, why wouldn't they call and ask about it, instead of automatically adding them and billing people without their knowledge or authorization. It seems like these messes could be avoided, but progressive sadly has to trick people into paying for something they don't need. State Farm is much better and cheaper. read more

This is not a review of the Davie office but Progressive in general. It's the worst insurance company I have ever had. You wait on hold for 30-40 minutes just for someone to answer. Then the agent has to put you on hold again, just to anwwer a simple question. They're understaffed and incompetent. read more

Dear Progressive Insurance, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the handling of my claim, #25-631315295, and specifically regarding my interaction with Jordan Marcello. During our conversation, I felt that Mr. Marcello was not helpful in addressing the serious concerns I raised about the inspection and handling of my claim. Instead of assisting me and properly reviewing the issues I reported, he appeared to defend the conduct of the inspector, Jason Cover, who was assigned to my case. Mr. Cover was responsible for inspecting my vehicle after the accident, but he failed to properly perform the duties expected of him. There have also been significant delays in communication, and I believe inaccurate information has been placed on my claim. This situation has made me feel as though I am being portrayed unfairly, as if I am doing something fraudulent, which is extremely concerning and upsetting to me. During my conversation with Mr. Marcello, I felt that my concerns were minimized and dismissed. Instead of addressing the issues I reported, it felt as though he was questioning me and attempting to investigate me as if I had done something wrong, rather than focusing on the problems that occurred with the inspection and claim handling. His attitude made me feel unsupported and placed in a very uncomfortable position. As the victim whose vehicle was damaged, I believe I should be treated with professionalism, fairness, and respect throughout this process. I have already spent a significant amount of money out of pocket while waiting for reimbursement, and the lack of proper assistance has made me increasingly concerned about whether my claim will be handled properly. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. For these reasons, I am respectfully requesting the following: a) That my concerns regarding the conduct and performance of Jason Cover be formally reviewed.b) That my interaction with Jordan Marcello be investigated due to the dismissive and unhelpful manner in which my concerns were handled.c) That my claim, #25-631315295, be carefully reviewed to ensure that all information recorded is accurate and that my claim is processed fairly. My problem , they keep sending me texts to tell me that I have not finish to feel up a form ( infos) So for 2 days trying to reach them to see what they really want, I cannot get farther then a computer voice, That keeps asking me about my accident claim , I answer that computer, told that machine many time. This company is a total scam. they added my sister to my policy without my permission and then forced me to pay them to remove her from it. then I changed my address so she is no longer even available to be on my policy and then they charged me for a change of address. it seems in the end all they want is to continue to scam money out of me. their customer service was even worse than their corrupt policies. I would never deal with them again and it would advise nobody to deal with this company. it doesn't matter what location they are at. in the end you call a toll-free number and speaking to there headquarters. They charge your credit card without authorization because there is a new person added as driver. I called and mentioned that I do not know that person and they mentioned that person lives or lived in my address therefore they added her as a driver. My apartment is a new building so this is a complete scam to see if you claim your money back or do not notice. They charged $854 for this and now I'm trying to get my money back. My insurance agent mentioned the only company that does this is Progressive, so I'm cancelling my policy now. read more

If zero stars was an option, they would get it. This company is the worst. They hate first responders and will NOT accept liability for anything. The fire department I am on, bills insurance companies of out of district persons involved in accidents within our district. This is how our volunteer dept stays keeps equipment serviced and maintained. EVERY SINGLE accident, where Progressive is the insurance company gets denied, even if we have to provide life saving care to thier insured. They always claim liability is not covered. If you are looking at getting coverage from this crap company, I'd highly advise against it. Especially if you are a first responder. This company could care less about it's policy holders being taken care of in a time of need and only worry about the bottom line. Those making the desicion to not support local fire and ems within this company, I hope they need help one day and it's not there. Wishing pain and suffering is not my thing, but when us first responders put our lives on the line to help thier clients, then to only get crapped on when trying to bill out our time, shows alot about who this company is. The state I am in, even has a law that says, local fire and EMS can bill insurance companies of those involved who do not pay the local fire and ems tax. I have had Progressive Auto Insurance for the past year. I recently experienced a loss. My car was stolen. It was recovered a week later and after several MONTHS the claim was paid for damage to the car while being recovered. But, that's not the worst part. They decided I need to prove to them where my car is garaged. ??!! So they said they would not renew my policy unless I produced pay stubs or multiple utility bills or current tax bill or a variety of items which I do not receive. I sent them copies of our licenses showing our address and tax bills for the most recent year and whatever else I could find showing my address. NONE of it was good enough for their underwriting department. Finally as my renewal date approached I looked into another insurance company (Geico) and was able to secure another policy with better coverage approximately $600 LESS then Progressive. I never thought that a company called "progressive" could be so BACKWARD!! read more

Be very cautious when purchasing insurance with this company, I thought this was a reputable company however I've had a terrible experience with them. Apparently if your paying for roadside assistance you can't use it or else you run the risk of getting your insurance cancelled (current situation) oh and don't even try to request an appeal because you can't do that either.
