I was extremely disappointed with Esther's Catering services. We hired them for our daughter's first birthday party in Menifee in August 2026. LATENESS: They told us they would arrive between 11:30-12 for setup, but pulled up past 12:15 when all the guests had already arrived and had been waiting a considerable amount of time for food. UNPREPARED:: They came without one aluminum serving platter that they needed, and asked if we had one ourselves. We did not. The tortillas had to sit out and were not kept warm. They also did not slice the limes ahead of time and said "we didn't know how you would use them." With my hands full, I had to ask a guest to help me slice them. They were just for tacos, so there shouldn't have been any question of how to slice them beforehand. SHADY BILLING: They asked me repeatedly to pay the balance and I reminded them that we had already settled this beforehand. They said I had not, there was a back and forth, and upon checking text messages she was surprised to see that we had sent confirmation of payment prior. She said "I don't remember receiving this and verifying the charge." If I hadn't already confirmed with my husband, I could have been double charged unfairly. We definitely won't be ever using them again!! They caused unnecessary stress on what was supposed to be a happy day with food taken care of. read more

I introduced myself and asked where I could buy some Beria tacos. he informed me that they only cater and do not have a restaurant. well that evening Oscar showed up on my doorstep with 6 of the best Beria tacos I've 3ver eaten. they were amazing. We hired Esther for our daughter's second birthday party. When I was doing my initial search for catering and taco services, I reached out to 3 vendors. Esther had the best value and the most food options included compared to others. We liked that the package we went with included an agua fresca and mulitas, whereas other services we would've had to pay extra for those things. I paid the deposit and secured the date. Esther was always very amicable during our communications and arrived right on time for set up. The setup was really nice with black table covers and signs labeling all of the food that was available to our guests. The food was ready at the requested serving time and our guests enjoyed every last bit. Some went back for seconds, and even then we still had leftovers. Esther's portions were very generous and we were given all the leftovers at the end of the service. After clean up, the area was spotless and you couldn't even tell they had been there the last few hours. Thank you to Esther and husband for the amazing food and service. We hired Esther's Catering for our son's birthday party, and they did not disappoint! They cooked and served tacos, mulitas, and quesadillas. They also set up a salsa, rice, and beans area. We included chips and guacamole for an extra charge, and they kept replacing all these items if they ran out. The food was fabulous! They did such a good job in setting everything up. The presentation was amazing. When done they cleaned up every single thing and it was as if nothing was ever there and they left it spotless. They brought nice table cloths,nice signs for the food, and great serving dishes. I will be using them at least a couple times a year. We had 40+ and the price was much better than the other businesses I called. It was amazing to not have to clean up anything and have such great food for everybody. They were such great people. We ended up chatting with them and learned that they make much more like pozole and enchiladas and are very flexible and reasonable and what they're willing to make for any party. I have never been to a party where every single person there had something to say about how great the food was.
