I drove 45 minutes to come there and was very disappointed. They did not contact me back they did not do anything finally after I told them I would post to reviews. They asked me to send them pictures, which I did I sent them a bunch of pictures and they were able to see how my face looked because before I walked into that office I took a picture of my face. The second I walked in there close-up sides, everything so they were able to compare two weeks later they said to me just come back up. We'll see what else we can do. I asked them. I'm driving 45 minutes. I'm not gonna pay for anything. That's a definite. They couldn't say anything for sure basically they were saying to me I was gonna be charged to do more stuff that wasn't gonna happen. I couldn't have been any more disappointed. I threw the money out the window pretty much because they wouldn't help me at all I kept texting them on the number that I sent the pictures to. I called. Nobody would call me back not a manager not anybody would call me back. They didn't care but the minute I started posting reviews all of a sudden now they seem to comment and care, but if I never posted any of these reviews or told the truth about what happened, I'd never hear back from them. They couldn't care less they would take my money that would be it so my opinion is this is not a great spa because I felt that they had horrible customer service. They didn't even try to rectify it. They didn't even try to make me feel better nothing and they wouldn't even refund my money when I asked them to please just issue the refund and I would just go elsewhere and get it. It's done. When I get to the check out counter (back in the claustrophobic room), when I initially went to pay, the charge was $70... Maxine came out, spoke to the lady behind the cash register quickly before she grabbed her next client, and the cashier informed me that deep tissue was an additional $10 more. I already thought it was a little too expensive, but hey, I NEEDED that massage. I had no problem paying the additional money - I could tell that even though the error made wasn't my fault, she still wanted her extra $10 bucks... I'm assuming she's the owner. Overall, Maxine gave an amazing, relaxing massage; she was polite & professional. The towels, blankets & sheets were all clean and smelled fresh. This "day spa" is a little too cramped for me to ever consider getting a manicure or pedicure here, honestly. And I'm sure their other services are overpriced, just as the massages are. I don't think I'll return unless I'm desperate need of a massage, like I was the day I went. It wasn't a very "zen" or relaxing atmosphere.

I have never been one to buy products from a saloon but I have really come to appreciate the line she uses, Blissoma, and so I keep myself stocked with her serums. They both are amazingly compassionate, intelligent and skilled practitioners and are ridiculously informative about making a plan and getting their patients feeling the best they can. Leanne has been my go-to girl for the majority of the time. She defines what a healer is. She is loaded with love and compassion and truly wants her patients to feel better by the time they leave. I live with severe pain and that can be very difficult not just physically but emotionally. Undoubtedlyif you were trying to choose whether or not to go to them you should know that you are truly safe in their hands. I was there a couple months ago and the esthetician started the appointment 20 mins late. There was no explanation and no apology. The session ended at the hour so the hour session was about 30 mins. I was back on Sep 13th and this time the esthetician did not show. I spoke to the front desk person after waiting 20 mins and told her that I needed to cancel the appointment due to the time, she was gracious enough to let me know that "they would forgive the cancellation charge". Again no explanation and no apology. I wasted 20 mins there, 20 mins waiting, and 20 mins back. When I got home I called to cancel my membership. The next week I received a few calls from manager/owner, who I was not going to allow to waste anymore of my time. Their hat-trick was that they charged me again on Sep 19th! Hand & Stone Wellington is terrible - save your money and time.
