Dr is great The staff is TERRIBLE! They cram 30 patients into 15 minutes no lie! They NEVER return phone calls. You have to wait months for an urgent appointment. They lie about everything ie. results, scripts etc. They have zero compassion and consideration for their patients. Its all about money. read more

This office has gone down hill over the last few years.Besides dim lighting and worn lobby its so crowded. Cosmetic products and dermatologist appointments plus all the kids! NOW you have to sign in on ipad and fill out 32 pages while standing at desk.Are you kidding.!? I've never had a worse experience with a doctor's office. Whenever I call the office to ask a simple question, I'm regularly on hold for over 20 minutes before being hung up on. The staff is not on top of anything, and I regularly have to hound them about appointments/medications/etc. I usually can't get a call back either. I always arrive early for appointments, but regularly have to wait at least half an hour after my appointment time to be seen, and then get maybe 5 minutes of Dr. Usmani's time. The PA is actually okay, so I've started seeing her instead. The only reason I continue going back is because I'm finishing a round of Accutane, which makes it very hard to switch doctors. As soon as I finish the medication, I'm never going back. This place regularly frustrates me to the point of tears. Avoid at all costs. read more

Even with an appointment you still have to wait an hour in the waiting room, every single time. Waiting room is small and crowded. Dr. Usmani is rushed, shows zero attention to detail and has rude staff. Don't waste your time. read more

I made an appointment weeks out to see Dr. Usmani for my yearly check for skin cancer as I live in Florida and to remove milia on my face. I went on February 16, 2021 to see her. I waited over an hour and the doctor was unavailable to see me. I have an almost two year old son at home and could not wait any longer to see her. The office sent in Dr. Usmani's Physician Assistant (PA) to see me. The PA removed my milia and I went home. I spoke with my husband and we were both very upset the doctor had not seen me. The whole point of the visit was to see the doctor and make sure I did not have any evidence of potential skin cancer. I called the office and voiced my displeasure. I was told the doctor would see me if I came back and the copay would be waived. I went back on February 18, 2021 to see Dr. Usmani. She inspected my body and also fixed up some of the milia removal the PA did not remove properly. I received a bill for both days. I was charged for two office visits and two milia removals. This is unscrupulous and disgusting business practices. The second visit was a continuation of the first one where Dr. Usmani was unable to see me despite me booking an appointment weeks out to see her. She then has the nerve to charge me for a second office visit and a second milia removal because her PA didn't do the job correctly; perhaps Dr. Usmani should be doing the milia removal herself the first time so it is done correctly. I called Aetna on March 18, 2021, after receiving the bill for both dates of service. The representative left a message for Linda in billing on March 19, 2021, 954-367-7065. I did not hear back from billing so called Aetna again on March 22, 2021. The representative did a three way call with myself and Linda in billing. Linda said she would reach out to Vanessa, the office manager of Dr. Usmani's office, 561-847-4751. Linda called me back and said the office can't do anything about it. I called Vanessa who told me only the doctor could make the decision to waive the visit. She kept saying how they waived the copay. I explained to her how this second visit was going towards my deductible in the amount of $61.28 + $93.52 and that we were being billed twice for milia removal which was not correctly done the first time by the PA. I asked when Dr. Usmani would call me and Vanessa said in a few days. We are now on Friday, March 26, 2021 and the doctor has not called back nor do I believe she planned to call back. My office visit on February 18, 2021 was a CONTINUATION of my initial visit on February 16, 2021, where Dr. Usmani was not available to see me. It is NOT a SEPARATE visit which I should be billed for nor one which the office should be able to collect from either myself or insurance. I love Dr. Usmani and her back office staff. They're great friendly and sufficient. They always take the time out to explain things to you and answer questions. The downside is you usually don't get called back or seen until at least an hour after your actual appointment time. I can't give them a 5 star because their front office is the worst. I usually encounter two women there, one will just ignore you and pretend no one is standing in front of her and the other has just a stank attitude. A smile, a little customer service trainer and a lot less rudeness and attitude when speaking to patients can go a very long way ladies. Trust me, there are days I absolutely hate my job BUT when I have a patient in front of me I smile and treat them kind. read more

Dr. Usmani is the only person I trust to do my lip filler! I've been getting my filler done with her for a little over a year now and she is amazing every time! She takes her time and always has the most natural results. I can always be confident in knowing I won't leave with a botched job. I cannot recommend her enough!! read more

i am very disappointed in this dermatologist office. I had to reschedule a follow up appointment due to testing positive for Covid. I was transparent with them and let them know, when I could've just come in and not said anything. They told me I must have two negative tests before I am able to come in. I did an at home test for my positive result, so I asked them if I could give them two at home test results. they said that those were not reliable and not acceptable. But I just tested positive? But they're not reliable? I am confused why I need two negative tests. Testing is super expensive and super hard to get. Not to mention, getting two tests would take at least one test away from somebody that actually needed it. One negative test is all that's necessary. And I'm being generous. The CDC states that from 10 days since the onset of symptoms, the person is no longer contagious. when I showed up to get tested at a testing center, and told them that this dermatologist office was making two negative test mandatory, they were almost offended. They told me that I was taking tests away from people that needed them and that it has been 10 days since I tested positive, so I am not needed to retest per the CDC. as a medical office, I am shocked that this dermatologist office does not follow the CDC guidelines. I told this office that I would just reschedule six months from now and they told me that even then I would still need two negative tests. this is ridiculous. i have found a new dermatologists office that is not scared of covid and doesn't try and control patients to fit their narrative. read more

Dr Usmani is wonderful. She really knows and enjoys her field. She knows it so well, we had a prior diagnosis from a Dr closer to home, who we went to previously, and it was that DR that diagnosed our issue, but she honestly told me she could not help us, and " not to look it up online only because it would scare me ". Obviously that's right what I did, and she was correct. so we already knew what we were dealing with, Dr. Usmani immediately knew exactly what we had going on when many people and Dr's had never heard of it. She did a whole blood culture and we were able to find out about other health issues that were previously missed. She referred is to a specialist that day! I have a lot of faith in DO's, because they treat the cause of the issue and not just the issue. Dr. Usmani deserves 10 stars. Her assistants and staff deserve the same. They are courteous, very knowledgeable, and on the ball.... The office is clean, modern and even though they spend quality time with you to really learn about you, it doesn't hold up other patients. I would advise any one to meet with her for a 'TRUDERM' experience that would be very hard to beat. read more

Took my son to see Dr. Usmani and was very pleased with her. She is very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in great detail. Her staff was also very kind and the wait was minimal. If I could give this place less then 1 star I would. I had an appointment for 9 am, got to the office 5 minutes before. I was told I was the first appointment over the phone when making the appointment. After waiting 45 min and everyone that was here before and after me get called k asked what was taking so long and why people coming in after me were being seen before me. Long enough to read all the lousy service reviews on Yelp, write my own bad review and decide I didn't want an appointment with a place that can't even answer the phone for 10 minutes! I would give zero stars if I could. They rarely answer their phone, never return calls, made me get a prior auth which I later found out I didn't even need, then never billed the insurance company for the claim and sent me the bill for the entire amount. Now they are back to not answering their phone or returning my calls about the bill! They push products that aren't necessary & overpriced. Two thumbs down & zero stars. Beware! read more

My entire family have been patients since 2013. We love how caring Dr Usmani is and I love that the office has lasers and a med spa.

Dr Usmani is an excellent dermatologist. It's her front desk help that is concerning. As a new patient, I came into the office, signed in, and sat for 10 min while they were all up there scurrying around completely ignoring me. So I asked them if I should be filling out some new patient paperwork, "oh yeah" was the response I received. That was the first issue. The second issue was that after the staff determined that they take "All Florida Blue HMO" (in their words) The doctor determined I hade 4 moles that needed to be biopsied right away and that they would have to call my ins. company to see if there was a preauthorization form that needed to be filled out. No problem I thought, so after waiting for a solid hour in my gown, and waiting for the biopsies to be performed, I was told that Dr Usmani was not in my network and I would have to leave and go somewhere else. My rational on this is the front desk staff shouldn't have misled me and said they take "All Florida BCBS HMO Ins" Very inconvenient and a waist of time for me. read more

I wish there was an option for -5 stars. Hands down, the worst office I've ever been to. The dermatologists are mediocre and fail to hire staff that is competent. When the staff isn't snickering about patients behind the desk they are screwing up your prescriptions, appointment dates, previous payments, etc. You always have to keep track of what they promise to do because it's never done. You call about something they haven't done, and after a while when they feel like answering they call back telling you sorry and that they will do whatever you asked for, but they never do it so you call yet again and act like it's your fault. The staff is just so inconsiderate and couldn't care less about their mistakes and neither do the dermatologists. If you plan coming here, expect long wait times during every appointment and frequent phone calls to them. I'm surprised some people have even had supposed "good experiences" at TruDerm. I wonder how much they got paid to write the fake review... read more
