And even though she's new to THIS salon, I'd follow her no matter where she went because she is just THAT good. She takes her time and is a perfectionist, which I can admire because I pretty much am too. When I met her almost a year ago, I was enquiring about extensions. I've never had them before, and I was super nervous because I have very thin, fine, mature hair. She quickly put my mind at ease and let me know that with proper care, my hair would end up looking better than it did before I got my extensions. It's hard to believe right. Well, I'm here to tell you, she was 100% right. She's also available if you ever have any questions or concerns about your hair after your appointment. I not only recommend her, I 1000% recommend her. Her "chair side" manner is also top-notch! She's the only one that I trust with my hair now. The transformation that she has been able to achieve is unbelievable. If you're looking for a new hairdresser... give her a shot, you won't regret it at all.

Disclaimer: I have waited nearly a month to write this review as I did not want it to be written…read moresolely based on emotions. On September 10th l visited the salon with an idea and pictures of what I was hoping to have done. After a about a minute consultation my stylist told me she wasn't sure she would be able to complete what I was asking for in the time I scheduled (since I choose the wrong type of booking) but that she would check her schedule, confirm a price and let me know. After a few minutes she came back, showed me the price and was ready to get started. I was a bit shocked and asked "are you sure you have the time for this?" she assured me she did and that she would make it work. The total cost included cut and style after all the coloring was complete. I showed my stylist some very vivid color pics with bright bright colors and all I requested was that the color start bright as I know these types of colors fade and usually fade quickly. After about 5 hours, we were nearly done. I was SOOO excited to see the finished product only to be 100% bummed. The vivid/bright colors were barely noticeable, I had dye all over my forehead, scalp, ears, skin, etc. and just was not happy with how any of it looked. My stylist assured me after curling(???) my hair, I would be able to see the color and LOVE it. The curling did not do anything other than waste another half hour or so. After that was done, she attempted to gaslight me in to being happy with how the color job looked and finally gave in stating she would add in some POPs of color to help with the flatness she now admitted my hair had. Another couple of hours passed and my hair still looked the same, barely noticeable color for over $500. I went ahead and paid, tipped (fairly I might add) and left, because at this point I had been there for about 7 hours and I was done. I walked out of the salon, with my hair not even styled and ready to hide it vs. show it off... I had dye all over and had to spend time and more money later to remove it from my skin. It looked like my young daughter helped me dye my hair in the bathroom at home. But, this is where the real fun starts, my husband decided to call and speak with the owner of the salon as the salon is listed as top tier and he knew I was not happy with the service. After speaking with the salon manager multiple times, she continued to ignore the fact that issues occurred, instead decided to bash my friend and I for making THEM feel uncomfortable AND refused to let him speak with the owner. I did not want to write a public review and wish we could have handled this privately, but since I see the owner replying to other reviews... this seems to be the only way to get a response. The service overall at the salon was subpar, along with the way I was treated during and after the service. It took nearly 2 weeks to remove all the dye from my scalp, neck and ears... I won't even mention my hands. I would 100% never recommend this salon to friends or family and hope to never go back. Reply: Never at any point did we say or text anything about the salon or stylist. We were documenting my hair transformation. The stylist also did not explain that vivid's are not low maintenance or that I would need multiple sessions to achieve the level of brightness we discussed. She assured me that balayage was the was the way to go and I would get the outcome we discussed. Balayage was her idea. We also definitely did bleach my hair. This is the communication that could have helped me set expectations or make a different decision. But you're right, I should be thankful that I got a burger when I ordered and paid for a steak... because the burger is still great. I am experienced in vivid's and personally dye my daughter's hair which I also showed her as an example for brightness scale, but I chose to pay $630 + tip (because I did still tip the stylist) for a high scale salon experience and style, which I do not feel I got. I am not looking for a refund nor rework. I am merely just sharing my experience and hope changes are made so no one else has to experience this in the future.

While the salon offers a wide variety of services, her eyelash work is truly exceptional. I have an autoimmune disorder and no natural eyelashes, so it's been very difficult for me to find extensions that actually stay on and look beautiful. Tracy's lashes last longer than any others I've tried. Beyond her talent, Tracy is one of the friendliest, most caring business owners you'll meet. She makes me feel confident and beautiful every time I leave. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and relaxing--and if you'd like a mimosa while you're there, she's happy to offer one. The sign says knails but they said they are operating under magic lash & nail now. My MIL gave me a gift card for Magic lash which had moved locations when I tried to visit. Google said they were still open so I called and was told to go to the 1304 blalock address. When I arrived the sign still said Knails. Went in for a premium pedi the last week of May, I now have an ingrown toenail. My feet were also only partially exfoliated and felt very rough when I left. I felt the color choices for the pedi were lacking and was charged an extra $5 for an OPI super stay color that was $1 more that regular OPI online and appeared to me to be regular run of the mill polish. I went in again for an acrylic builder gel refill two weeks later because I had a remaining balance for my gift card. The technician took forever with the gel and was unable to lay the polish on my nails. I was in the chair two hours for the refill and the color looked like lumpy oatmeal. At that point it was an hour after close so I asked if I could just come back and try another color in the morning. I chose another color that was more pigmented the next day but my nails still look like lumpy crap. I'm not super picky when it comes to nails but I will never return to this salon. Please invest in new polishes and retrain your staff.
