As we were driving to find a place to buy a replacement tire we were blessed enough to find this gem! Philip was so kind and helpful. It was the last thing on our minds during our recent vacation to NOLA and the surrounding area. We were driving from New Orleans to Slidell to take a tour of the swamp. As we started over the Highway 11 Bridge, it happened. The rear passenger tire blew. As luck would have it, we found R& D Tires and Service. They're off the beaten path, but that path was on the way to our tour. Even better, they are open 24 hours. We were very happy to discover them. My husband made a call and found they had a replacement tire for our car in stock. We took the tour and then went back down the road. When we pulled into the lot, we were greeted immediately. I went inside to wait and less than ten minutes later they were done. I'm not kidding. I couldn't believe it. 5 Star service start to finish.

Picked it up and ac was blowing hot. When I dropped it off it was blowing cold. I asked the mechanic to verify it was safe and good to make it home, and he told me yes. Drove an hour and a half to pick up the truck. Truck broke down maybe 50 yards down the road. Mechanic towed it back down to shop. Drove back home. He cut the catalytic converters to unclog them, replaced the AC compressor and condenser. Took it on another drive and it went into limp mode again. Turns out it was a faulty MAF sensor that I originally voiced my concerns about the MAF system being the problem. They've been pretty good with the customer service, my phone calls were answered with little to no waiting time. Truck was in shop for 3 weeks. They kept my furniture that was in the bed safe and dry for me. Pricing was fair. It made it back home, but all the check engine lights came back on, when he told me it only had one catalytic converter code. The truck is driving good though.
