This same dog has terminal cancer - the staff has helped me on many occasions to find various items for him: calming supplements, low-fat rawhide options, etc. Whenever I bring my non-reactive dog in the store, she always gets lots of treats (with permission) and attention from the staff. I hinted I could use help with the 60 lb bag of food, yet as soon as she rang me up she turned around and returned to her little seat behind the counter, resuming her position and watching me struggle to drag the bag to my car. I personally try to use local businesses, especially now a days, however I'm going to resume my dog food orders from Amazon since they will deliver to my door and often times the driver will even brings it in for me If I'm at home - THAT's customer service. She is also nicer than every dog she meets. It's not even a question. This is because of how they raise their puppies. It's really scary to make a decision like this. Especially since we did not pick our dog in person. I like the security of knowing that my dog is totally healthy, and I like the relationship I currently have with gorgeousdoodles. I ask them questions all the time. You become part of the family. They helped us when we freaked out about having a puppy (you will freak out), and they still give us advice on collars, training, shots, everything. They stay in touch with everyone- from Halloween contests to Happy birthdays. I hate to think people would be scared away by an obviously angry reviewer who didn't get the dog they thought they were getting. We were told immediately that this was part of the process. It's not like buying a car. They get to know you and the puppies at the same time. It's fluid. You may not get to pick a specific dog. They will narrow it down. That's what you want tho. You want a good fit. You talk about what your looking for. I had to remind myself that they are dogs first, people second. So if an email wasn't immediately responded too, I assumed they were dealing with a full liter of puppies. After having a puppy for a few months I understood this better. Imagine half a dozen! The breeder relationship is really difficult. You will feel overwhelmed. You are in good hands here. Plus you will have the dog of your dreams. Seriously.
