Customer Service communication in the service department is quite poor. This may be because this dealership is extremely busy. I brought my 2022 Suburban in for a faulty radio. That was dealt with in a reasonable amount of town. Once the car was ready, I called on Tuesday June 18 at around 7.03am requesting an oil change and any other maintenance that may be due. The nice lady who answered my call promised to pass this on to the service advisor Cardinal. I received a call from Cardinal around 2pm reminding me to pick up my car since the radio had been replaced. I called back and asked about the oil change. He did not seem to know about my request for an oil change. He then said I should be receiving a text regarding the oil change. I did not receive a text or telephone call on Tuesday. It's 3.22pm on Wednesday June 19. I have still not received any message on the oil change, the status of the car, if they are too booked to attend to the car ... complete silence. I have called the main service department twice. I was told a message will be forwarded to Cardinal. I have called Cardinal's number directly at least 6 times today and left a message. I have also left a message for Rodney Perez, whom I believe to be the Service Director. Still no answer. It would be nice just to know the status of the vehicle. Communication is quite poor even for a very busy dealership. Estero Bay Chevy could do better communicating with customers. I am still waiting to hear back on my 2022 Suburban. read more

I don't usually write reviews but unfortunately I need to share, I brought my car here for a leak I had noticed on my garage floor, I made an appointment for diagnosing the problem, I was told about multiple areas of concern and they came up with a $4600 total to fix the car, after telling them I needed to think about it I brought the car to another service facility which came highly recommended, their diagnosis was completely different. Bait and switch on vehicles. Made a reservation to test drive a car. Dealership called me to verify the morning of the test drive. Drove out to dealership 40 minutes away for test drive. Met sales manager and he set us up with salesman to test drive car. Manager came back and told us car was being inspected before we could drive it. After a while salesman came back and said car had not passed inspection but would like to earn our business. Ask to see the car, salesman stated they did not know where the car was. Told salesman it's in the shop where the sales manager said it was. He said no it was not. Two days later the vehicle is still being advertised. Had daughter call up to set up an appointment to drive car. She was told no problem and they verified the car was available. Sad but true. Do not waste your time at this dealership. We were scared into trading in a 2013 Chevy Spark by the Estero Bay Manager Chris Campion. We accepted $3400. A week later, Estero Bay has the used car listed at $12,050. If you want to buy a car especially a used car this is not the place to buy ( anything for that matter) I bought a used car here in 2013. Yes awhile ago BUT all of what I didn't know came to light a few years after. To begin with what happened immediately when I drove the car home I looked at the odometer. It had 49K mikes. The car was advertised with 43K miles. My bad. I never thought to check it when dealing with a supposedly "reputable"dealer which they're not. I called immediately and they put this NASTY manager on the phone that said to me "so what do you want me to do, you already signed the papers. Goodbye". Ok no prob. Then a few years later I found out from my mechanic. That the grill was put together with all random parts that actually almost fit but not quite. The side panel leather was poorly glued to just last a few weeks before I had to get a real pro to fix it properly. They just used glue and rubber bands and a false odometer reading to get the car out the door. So much to list that came to light later that I never even thought of checking. Like why the light bulb in the trunk was missing ( some kind of short)! Initially I gave 1 person a good rating. He was trying to push me toward a new Camaro now I see why. Then the finance department is a total rip off! Beware of this place. Terrible manager. I am a manager myself in a retail business and would never do what that guy did to any of my customers. So lesson learned. You've been warned and I don't lie. The person that manages that place ( if he's still there ) will screw you anyway he can. Find a dealer with at least a 4 star rating. FANTASTIC!! Our GPS blew up due to Sand in the Antenna and they figured it out right away, note to self, do not rinse Kayaks on top of our Chevy Tahoe.... $500.00 bucks later we have a new Antenna!! ASK for Cardinal, he is super fantastic!! So helpful, pleasant, and just a super nice guy! After an oil change, tire rotation and an appointment to come back for the Antenna, they had to order it....we were outta there in less then 2 hours. Since we don't live here, we probably won't be back, but it's nice to know another great Chevy Dealership/Service is out there!! Was in a accident a year ago and was assigned by my insurance to have my car mechanically fixed and checked by Estero Bay Chevrolet. Once I picked up my car and drove home (at the time Lehigh acres) I heard a clanking noise every time I turned. Went back the next day with my car and was told by the supervisor that the car was so unsafe that he wouldn't have even let his daughter drive it. I then got it rechecked. After almost two months of not having my car in total I got it back. However my car was never totally fixed. It struggles to accelerate without jerking and jerks when stopping. Also screeches really loud when I try to accelerate. I told them about it and they pretty much ignored me on the whole situation. I'm writing this review a long time after this incident because now my cars value is a lot less than it should be due to it never being properly fixed making it difficult for me to get the best bang for my buck on trading in my vehicle. I hsuggest finding a alternative when it comes to finding a mechanic. Updated: Bob was able to recheck my vehicle even after such a long time. After several months, and still no title, I contacted the salesman and Estero Bay's financial person, whom I had paid in full when I purchased the car, and they advised me to go down to the dmv to obtain my title. I took my truck for and oil change and tire rotation. All was well until a few weeks later, when I found out that they did not reset the Tire Pressure Monitor system, which requires a special electronic tool. I only found this out accidentally when I had a flat tire, and the system identified the wrong tire as low on air. the tire shop where i took it reset the system for me. read more

Never coming back. I decided to switch up my Chevy dealership since Rick has been a disappointment. Right away the service guys found the issue with the coolant and fixed it...awesome! Went home, parked my car and the next morning my car was unable to drive. Called the Chevy dealership and they told me I have to figure out how to get my car to Estero (I live in Marco). Thankfully I have AAA. I arrived at the dealership and the service advisor said there is no way we could have screwed up the car with changing the coolant hose.. ten minutes later he comes back to say they didn't hook the hose up to my turbo correctly so that's why my car wasn't functioning properly. Spent Wednesday afternoon here trying to buy a truck . After agreeing to a deal and being told I was already approved at a low interest rate we began to sign paperwork and place the vehicle under our insurance policy . Hour and a half later I was informed by sales manager that that wasn't my interest rate . After hearing over and over again how he was having to stay late for someone else and hearing managers continuous complaining and unwillingness to negotiate I decided to walk away from the deal. The next morning I was called by salesman who after speaking with him And some negotiation I decided to go ahead with vehicle purchase and was told the vehicle would be marked as sold and placed on hold for me until the next day as I work 24 hour shifts in public safety. The next morning I received call from the salesman stating that the vehicle had been sold. Completely unprofessional! Very disappointed in my experience here and will never return to this dealership. Got a car on a rainy day, the next day I saw it was scratched up on the hood, took it to them twice to try to fix the issue but the problem is so there, they would not budge on repairing the hood, my service advisor was friendly, that's a plus, but I'm pretty sure if my car was scratched up I'm sure some of their other ones are to, I saw their cleaning guy just spraying them with water then using a shimmy to dry them, which is a bad thing to do. Buyers beware, if you buy a car from here make sure it isn't scratched. read more

I put a deposit to lock up a Suburban and thought we were good to go. 3 weeks later we get a call saying the vehicle was already sold!! What, that is crazy, why did you take our money and why would it take 3 weeks?! Well my feelings are that they are opportunists and sold the vehicle out from under me!! June 8th 2016 is when my wife took my 2011 Chevrolet cruze to get an oil change done at this dealership. She said she waited a normal amount of time to get this done. After she had gotten home i take my car to the gas station to fill up and immediately notice the radiator fan kick in at full blast and the check engine light is on. I take it to auto zone for a free error code test and it reads that there is an issue with the radiator temperature sensor, i pop the hood to check it out and one of the two sensors has its wiring cut clean and a sort of crimp as if it was done with WIRE CUTTERS. I immediately call ESTERO BAY CHEVROLET and keep getting sent to the service advisors voice mail for about 15 minutes. I left a voicemail and received no call back for an hour so i call back and he finally answers. I tell him that we had an oil change done and that after adding about 50 miles to the odometer our cars fan is running at full blast and he immediately gets defensive, something about " we do oil changes all day i have no idea whats wrong with your car, it sounds like its over heating bring it in so that we can diagnose it ". Want to know how much a diagnosis is at the dealership? $150. It costs between $150-$180 dollars to replace both sensors after the diagnosis. I suggest to ANYONE to steer as far away from this Dealership as possible. My wiring was cut by them. I personally would not trust them to change my tyres. My service advisors name was Jose T. Update: 01/14/2019 I finally got my car back after the dealer kept it for a month. The technician that removed one of my engine covers must not have known how to put it back on fully because once again the car was not put back together correctly. They replaced another part but still could not fix or figure out what I have brought it in 4 times for over the past 78 days. The service manager (Bob) still believes the customer should pay for parts that have been replaced that do not solve the original issue and that their own mechanic admitted to just changing based on what he thought would fix the issue without troubleshooting. Why would they spend a second truly troubleshooting the actual cause before lying to the customer and just changing parts blindly? Also, don't expect clear consistent communication even from Pat, the managing partner of the dealer who does not return your calls and forwards you to others like Bob. read more

We were told a certain price of a Malibu over the phone but when they got there they raised the price and didn't want to negotiate or help us out at all. They think that 4 free oil changes, weather mats, and the water they gave us is worth thousands of dollars. So we walked out, went to RICK HENDRICKS CHEVY down in Naples off pine ridge road and airport road and had the best car shopping experience. They were nice, went down in price after negotiations, and overall a MUCH better experience. Don't waste your time talking to the manager there Chris (I believe his name was) because he will tell you "we can't go below Chevys number" which is a lie. On Oct 23, 2020, I purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 from Estero Bay Chevrolet; I was informed that the car was inspected as a company policy, and the car was in good shape. I purchased the car with 55,500 miles, and I have driven the vehicle for less than 200 miles. The first time that I drove the car I noticed that the a/c wasn't working, the suspension was not working and the driver door lock wasn't working. I took the car immediately to the mechanic and I was informed that the one of the vent actuators wasn't working, the rear shocks were destroyed, and the door actuator need to be replaced. I authorized to work only in the a/c and the suspension, I spent more than $1,000 on the first repair. The next day I drove the car and I got the check engine message and now the car is giving me the code P0128. I send several messages to the sale representative and his answer was that he was sorry, but that was it. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy a used car from Estero Bay, they're sales representative did a good job selling but a terrible job trying to find a solution. read more

I found a truck I was interested in on line, called and was able to put down a deposit. the truck was supposed to be arriving at the dealership on June 29, it finally arrived july 7 after I had to call Chevrolet in flint Michigan to complain. then after all this time they wait until the night they bring me the truck to tell me I do not have the proper paperwork for my financing and this is all my fault, that I should have had everything in order since I decided to use my financial institution. after talking to my bank they assured me I had the proper paperwork, after talking to my salesman about bringing the truck back because I had held up my end of the deal they were saying they were going to hold my truck until the check was recieved. after I went to the bank and picked up the check to trade check for truck they said they would have to wait until my trade in was paid off. They were taking the trade in, they would be the one to pay it off. Nothing but games with these people. absolutely ridiculous. read more

Horrible experience here. Stay clear if trying to buy a vehicle. I was told that this dealership would price match or beat any price in Florida. After receiving a quote from another dealership and sending to them I was told in writing that everything was good to go and to come down. Upon arrival, Zachary the sales associate (was amazing and very helpful), I was greeted and brought in to start the process. After a few moments he had came to me with the paperwork but stated that they could not do the deal that was agreed upon with the vehicle I wanted and I was offered a vehicle in the color that I did not want. I asked to speak with the manager since this was agreed upon and was introduced to Chris. Right from the get go Chris would not let me say a word or explain anything. I only was able to get in the fact that I had this agreement in writing, he cut me off and had said that it doesn't matter what is in writing only what I say and we're losing money with you. He never apologized, he was very rude, hot headed and spoke loudly. By the end of it all I was in tears by how he treated me and felt humiliated not only by him but also with other people in the building witnessing everything. I have never been treated that poorly. I had even spoken to the owners son, Bradley, after my father called. The only thing said from him was "I will see what I can do" and I never saw him again, he couldn't even come out to tell me no or apologize or explain anything and instead had Zach do his work. Stay clear of this place ! *UPDATE* As you can see below, there is no sincerity. I do not recall seeing the owner's face at all. I had emailed the quote the morning of, if it wasn't going to work I should have been told at that time, not told that everything was good to go and to come down and then be told it wasn't going to work. That's deceiving and I was "lured" to this dealership. I did include in the email the name of the dealership Ferman Mazda (not Kia), if name specifics on a dealership was needed that should have been clarified as well instead of saying "we can price match or beat any dealership". I never presented any papers in regards to what that dealership sent to me as it was already sent via text message from me to an employee and was printed by the employee there. Yet I was still told the deal would be honored. It was a waste of my time to drive down there and sit for over 2 hours and be mistreated when a simple return email that morning would have prevented all of it. The staff being allowed to be "forthright" in the manner that was displayed is unreal for customer service. I'm sure had I brought someone else with me I would've never been treated or talked to in that manner. Professionalism was not shown by the manager or owners the night I was there, I was talked at not with. Unbelievable. The finance guy couldn't put truck in name of trust so told us to go to Motor Vehicle and Estero Bay would reimburse us. Emailed receipts to Estero Bay and never heard from them. Several days have gone by and not even an acknowledgement. We also had to pay for new title as Motor Vehicle never received one from Estero Bay. Truck was cash deal, no financing and finance person was worst part of the whole deal when we bought. I placed a "bet" with my husband that we would never see the money for fixing the registration. The service department has the worst customer service you can find. They never fix a problem the first time and lie about what they check. They said they checked the valve stem and they didn't. They found it when I had to come back again because the problem wasn't solved. I came to replace a flat tire and have been here 5 times and on the 2nd time they found another issue with a different tire.. but didn't find it the first time. They are just trying to get the job done quickly and don't care about the result. I don't trust them. If I can avoid it I will never be back! read more

I went to Estero Bay to test drive a 2020 Equinox Premier, with an appointment. First impressions were great! I was greeted right away and everyone was friendly. However, no one was practicing any type of social distancing, masks, etc. for Covid-19, except for the Salesman while test driving the vehicle. Here's a question? How clean was my car after they took it to do an trade in estimate???? Of course, the typical game playing began (I thought this was over with car dealerships?) The word "transparency" was stated by the Sales Manager...not! The prices that are posted online are not what they wanted to charge me. Lady's beware! They actually believe that we cannot add or subtract. According to them $27000 plus $3000 equals $32000!! When I questioned this, the games men ship really began and became ridiculous, and the attitudes started. In the end, they were still off by $1000. Unbelievable how this place operates! Went in here to buy a guy for our daughters. Sales Person was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Explained we saw their advertising on their website for Cruze's. She attempted to get us the discounts they advertised and got a run around about this. We went through the usual negotiation rigors and they tried to sell us a car that was not part of the advertising special. When we asked about this she was "not aware " of any specials. Ended up calling another salesman over who verified that in fact it was the wrong "stock #". Once we verified this, they told us it would be a different car altogether for the special pricing. Once we FINALLY came to terms on a deal, we waited for financing guy to call us in and finish things up. Met with finance manager who tried to pull the bait and switch and get us on a higher interest rate. My wife caught this and questioned why when we signed off on a lower rate and lower price on the vehicle. The finance manager had no idea and brought the salesperson back and she all of a sudden had amnesia!!BS Needless to say, we did not buy at this location.
