There is zero advocacy for the worker here. It's been one month, Aerotek has not made any contact whatsoever. I've called, emailed, nothing - but crickets. I've since found a job with a great company (no Aerotek involvement). The first time with them I was recently retired from the military and had NOT been to college. This time around I am armed with a MBA, I figured that would make a difference, nope. I'll never apply here again or take another call from them…read more They placed me as a machinist at a shop that, from my experience, was completely unprepared--lack of tooling, lack of capability, and little structure. I was expected to take on the role of multiple people (setup, programming, editing, operating, and training) without proper support or pay. When I raised concerns and asked for a different assignment, Tracy refused to help and instead tried to push me to stay in a situation that clearly wasn't working. When I put in my two weeks, they ended my assignment immediately. I also experienced pushback when trying to use my accrued sick time, which added to the frustration. On top of that, I received work-related calls and texts at all hours and was expected to help troubleshoot off the clock without compensation. I have documentation of this. Overall, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this agency unless youre wanting an easy lawsuit.

I was doing a fence project which required holes to be dug for the new post. I left to go get all the supplies, leaving the worker to continue digging. When I returned 90 minutes later, he had dug about 6 inches on one hole. It is not rocket science. Digging holes has to be one of the oldest professions next to prostitution, yet apparently not everyone can do it. I later found out he was an out of work IT guy (computers not construction). Swing and a miss and still cost me about $20 an hour for him.
