For international travelers-make sure you get a printed receipt ( Canada charges pre-authorization charges 2-3x above) in case there are any issues.

Also, the last time I stopped in the gas was $0.04 cheaper than the other stations. I paid at the pump so I can't say anything about the service but the windshield fluid bucket was full and the squeegee was in good shape so that's always nice.

The potatoes that came with our breakfast were actually way better than the ones pictured in the menu. They were cut red potatoes with green onions and red peppers. Soooooo tasty, not greasy, perfectly seasoned. My only beef with this place, and it is a fixable one, is the rye toast we ordered was SWIMMING in butter/margarine. I ACTUALLY, no really, I ACTUALLY rung out my toast and it dripped with butter. So, next time I am going to order butter on the side, because the marble rye toast was vary tasty under all the butter.

At the onset, it's just another mountain town gas station, but that soon goes away as you enter the store. It is impeccably clean and inviting. They have a selection of items you'd expect. What comes next is that trip to the restroom. They are all gender neutral and AMAZING! They are clean and they smell nice. The toilets are next level. Complete with heated seats and bidets, you might just sit there longer than normal. There will ALWAYS be a stop at the Co-Op in Banff when I visit!

If I haven't been mistaken in the past there are three of these located in town but this is the first in and the last out for many people! The store had all the necessary amenities that a hungry traveler needs and can be a cheap fix for mix and snacks if you are tired after a day of touristy style events. I love Banff so this is just one more little gem that I am glad to have in my cavalry of places to go when here or on the road to somewhere else!!
