The washrooms are very clean and well maintained though I wonder at the sharps containers in each restroom which were filled to the brim with syringes and needles..Don't get me wrong, I think its a great idea to have safe disposal sites available for every reason and eventuality for safety sake but makes it seem that theres either an awful lot of diabetics around or....

I prefer to pay at the pump which is usually not possible at this run down location. The line inside to pay is very slow, understaffed and does not have Tap on the debit/credit machine. In the winter time, the wind blows thru this location enough to cause frostbite in a very short time. They do sell propane here but once again, they are understaffed and extremely unaware of people waiting at the propane pump site so you will be waiting a long time. Fortunately there are a number of other well maintained service stations nearby

My boyfriend and I were having an awful day, our car got towed yesterday & brought to an impound…read morelot as a tow only meaning we couldnt drive it out of there and the company wanted $370 just to tow it to our house plus the $138 for yesterdays tow, I thought that was crazy so I called around and found GPS Towing, we decided to sell our car instead of taking it home so the driver for GPS showed up at the other tow yard to get our car and drive it to the new owners. The driver that showed up was named James and let me just say he was awesome, super nice, let us come with him to drop the car off and then dropped us over downtown as close to our home as he could. The experience I had the day before when our car was being towed was awful and the driver was so rude so it was very refreshing to have an amazing nice driver like James be the one who took care of us today. And not to mention the price was absolutely excellent at only $100 compared to the $370 the other tow company wanted. James even stopped at an ATM for us so we could get out the cash with no problems what so ever. Had some nice conversations during the drive, he was an awesome man. All in all I give GPS Towing & James 5 stars for being super awesome & cheap. Not sure why it says Im from San Fran California .. weird Im from Halifax lol

Canadian Tire is usually the place I go to buy my oil and gadgets for my vehicle…read more On this occasion I needed oil. This was my first time in this store and I was running late for an appointment. This always seems to be the time, when in a hurry, you can not find what you are looking for. Thank goodness I found a staff member, he helped me get the antifreeze and oil I needed. So a good solid four star for that. Also when I went to the checkout, the previous lady forgot her slip. The cashier actually walked the slip out to the parking lot to give it to her. Now that is customer service!

It has different hours than most nearby gas stations and isn't open past 10 (sometimes earlier on the weekends), but it's worth stoping by during weekdays when we usually need to fill up anyways. The pumps are older design, so no pay at the pump, and no full service, but everything in this day and age is so instant, it's nice to go in and chat with the attendant.

It seems like everytime I stop by here to get gas, the pumps are either inefficient (ie. most of them are "out of service"), or they are closed altogether (the place closes extremely early considering it's a gas station, and the other service stations in the area remain open late into the night). Also, the gas station has an old-fashioned design, meaning there is no option to "pay at the pump" when you're in a hurry or when there are line-ups at the pumps. Maybe a trivial thing, but it's an inconvience no less.

Fast Fuels is a solid gas station, but I do feel the name set some pretty aggressive expectations…read more I showed up ready for a race car pit stop and instead got a perfectly normal, slightly leisurely fueling experience. That said, the place was clean, easy to get in and out of, and did exactly what a gas station is supposed to do, which is honestly more than can be said for some places. Good stop overall. Just maybe rename it "Reasonably Prompt Fuels" and we've got a perfect 5.

That goes for other shops in the vicinity as well. So.. don't go careening off a cliff trying to look for this place ;) Aside from that, my visits there have been uneventful, but theres never really a lineup for gas, everything is quick and clean and efficient and you get airmiles

I haven't really been into a bad situation here so nothing from there. I usually just pay outside, so communication is rare, only if I buy something from inside. The problem I think is the location. This is located where the main highway 102 starts, and as you may suspect, this is where people accelerate. Well, trying to turn your car to enter the area of the gas station is a test. You make a mistake, you pay for your life. One or two incidents have occurred in the past, explaining why people coming out of the highway are NOT allowed to make a left to Romans avenue.
