I find the pumps are faster than a lot of other stations where I find that $30 takes 4 or more minutes to pump! I always use my Petro points card as well. So, giving this a lower rating because of the gas price is not fair. What my rating is based on Is customer service and location. I haven't really been into a bad situation here so nothing from there. I usually just pay outside, so communication is rare, only if I buy something from inside. The problem I think is the location. This is located where the main highway 102 starts, and as you may suspect, this is where people accelerate. Well, trying to turn your car to enter the area of the gas station is a test. You make a mistake, you pay for your life. One or two incidents have occurred in the past, explaining why people coming out of the highway are NOT allowed to make a left to Romans avenue. So be careful!

What I like about it is the large amount of room it has in the filling area, and with a pretty large number of pumps. They also have a car wash that can get quite popular on sunny days, since there is little other competition for that in the area. The store is small with a limited selection, but it does it's job.

If you pay cash for your gas, you get a discount (I'm not sure exactly what the discount amount is, but if I get $20 of gas and pay cash, I usually save about 50 cents). It's not a huge discount, but lets be honest - with the inflation of gas prices and other living costs nowadays, every discount helps, right? Aside from the price, the service here is always super. The cashier is always friendly - I have NEVER had an unfriendly cashier in any of my visits here, no lie. Not that I think they deserve a medal for being pleasant or anything, but I find getting a friendly hello, how are you and take care makes a big difference in my experience. I don't buy gas often, but when I do I always go to Wilson's in Rockingham Ridge - I am personally willing to go out of my way for a discount and a smile.

It's pretty tiny and they have plenty of space on that lot to work with. I mean with the amount of traffic that Bayer's road sees on a typical idea, one would think they would expand the establishment a bit to capitalize on the rush hour gridlock that occurs by there every day. I like how the gas station is accessible from two sides, but I would warn drivers to be careful entering and exiting the lot because of the heavy traffic and poor quality of Bayers road with all its potholes.

The service is always pleasant and it is never hectic and overwhelming (like some other areas in Halifax can get) The service is fantastic and really the best part, now if they can only get that pesky gas price issue under control!
