Upon stopping in the shoulder, I immediately dialed 911 (where they didn't pick up for like 10 rings...), who directed me to the State Police. The State Police put me on hold a few times, but finally I got through and was like, "HELP! There's an obstacle on 93S causing accidents!" All they said was, "OK, bye." I guess they already received a call...? It was sort of confusing. I was scared. MOMMMMMYYYY!! Anyway - 7 minutes and 20 injured cars later, they arrived. They promptly re-directed traffic, found the 5 foot long piece of pipe that caused all the flats, and got lots of flat bed tow trucks to show up to cart us to safety. So - State Police - thanks for keeping us safe. Usually I only see you when I'm not ready (ie speeding), but this time I was VERY ready for you to show up.

The officer has been professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about the car seat installation. This is such a critical component to having a child ride safely in a car, and the instruction manual is not the easiest to follow. I was on constant communication over the phone with this family member up until the last hours of his death. He was weak and unable to move and answered the phone by voice. I was constantly getting sick (dizzyness, weakness, and coughing,)from something reoccurring with a putrid smell in the apartment and a person in the hall heckling a fake cough at different times in the front hallway. When I left the apartment at times, the smell went away. I was unable to be there to save him but went through the same suffering myself since I was there shortly before I went to the hospital while he stayed behind for the same illness. The BPD was called a number of times by me from the hospital to have it investigated and to check on him while he was alive, and the BPD did nothing and didn't even call me back for an update. I was only alerted by the hospital staff about his death, and it wasn't sourced from the BPD as told by the hospital staff. Shame on you, BPD! The hospital tests revealed in me were inflammation and lung damage with hypoxia when blood clots happen. My family member got an optopsy, and there was no trace of covid19 in his system, but it was reported as a cardiovascular failure. I bet this illness caused blood clots and caused a cardiovascular issue in the lungs, and he could not breathe and died. His lungs and sinuses were never examined. He was cremated only days later.

They seemed to be utter professionals--cool and calm yet highly methodical as they went hunting for the one alleged terrorist brother who went on the lam after the shootout that killed his brother. I must confess two of my uncles were Massachusetts State Troopers, which is another great group of tough cops. But the Boston Police were awesome as they used a robot, flashbangs, and a thermal camera to apprehend second Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev . The Police Chief recounted in a press conference shortly afterward just how they got the bleeding guy hiding in a Watertown backyard boat. Additionally, the Police made great use of their Twitter feed by communicating with the public about exactly what was going on. The city of Boston should be very proud of their 5 STAR YELP Boston Police Dept.
