I went today on my birthday for the first time since it had been bought and I'm so impressed. The time, care, and heart that went into my pedicure and manicure was wonderful. The new owner told me how important it is to her to do a good job and have a clean and nice facility and I was glad to hear and see that. She honored my old punch card and added to it. Also these prices are amazing!!! $30 for shellac manicure and $33 for a spa pedicure (scrub, paraffin, and polish!!!). I got a complimentary water bottle too. Making an appointment is a good idea because there are multiple technicians, but it's not a huge staff. I was able to get in same day when I wanted though. Give them a try and you'll be back! I've even had walk-in customers taken before me while I waited for the technician I specifically booked. Today was especially disappointing. I booked my appointment a month in advance for 5:00 p.m. When I arrived, I was told my nail technician didn't come to work that day. Instead of notifying me earlier--even though they had known all day--they waited until I showed up and then told me I'd "just have to wait around" until someone became available. I understand emergencies happen, but failing to communicate with scheduled clients and expecting them to wait indefinitely shows a lack of respect for customers' time. After a year of dealing with chronic delays, this experience convinced me not to return.

Lavish Nail Lounge -- Deeply Disappointed…read more I came in this morning for what should have been a simple gel manicure on my natural nails -- removal of old gel, manicure, and reapplication. Unfortunately, the experience was one of the worst I've had at any nail salon. The person who worked on my nails was clearly not a trained nail technician. The polish was applied unevenly, with streaks and color all over my skin. He literally cut off polish from the sides of my nails to make them look halfway decent. When I politely shared my concerns, no one offered to fix them -- even though another technician, who did my daughter's nails perfectly, acknowledged the poor job with a scoff. To make matters worse, they still charged full price with no offer of correction or adjustment. Now I have to go elsewhere today and pay again to have them appropriately redone. There's a difference between a small mistake and a complete lack of professionalism. Sadly, Lavish Nail Lounge showed neither care nor accountability. I won't be returning, and I'd caution others to look elsewhere for quality and service that matches the price.

She let us set up a small table with treats and goodies, and also offered beverages (wines and water) during their services. I don't get my nails done too often, but this stood out to me. A set of set of sealed and sterile tools were pulled out and used each time. From what I recall, most technicians place their tools in bin or glass with water, and do a quick rinse or microwave before using them. The tools here definitely seem more reassuring! And seems more efficient. Kat was also very knowledgeable and openly shared info when asked. Overall, we had a great time here! The only reason I subtracted a star was because my classic mani/pedi is already chipping and it's only been a couple days! This was probably my fault for not choosing shellac or dip--but I'm definitely going back for a French Ombré!
