I received a gift card for my birthday prior to "world" shut down, after trying to find time for my message I finally made an appointment with Dennis for a deep tissue massage and was not disappointed! As a first time visitor I was delighted with the entire experience (next time I will use more of the amenities). The staff was friendly and explained everything, the locker rooms were clean (although my bathroom stall was out of TP) I enjoyed relaxation room before my 80 minute message and Dennis was polite, welcoming and very professional and his deep tissue massage was excellent and perfect! Jennifer is amazing! I rarely get massages because it's difficult for me to find time and I usually don't love the massage like I think I should. However, I stumbled upon Jennifer and she does a fantastic job. I prefer almost a deep tissue, but not quite that intense. I used to hold a membership at Essentials Medi Spa until all memberships were cancelled during the pandemic. I have visited the spa about three times since 2021 each time I leave disappointed in how the staff changes has affected the customer service. On 3/17, I called around noon to confirm closing time for Sunday. I informed the staff that I would be going in to use the sauna & steam room only. I was told they would close the facility at 5pm, to which I replied thank you and I will be there and out by 5pm. I arrived at 3:40pm and was checked in. One of the showers was out of order. I preceded to use the middle shower. The drain was so clogged that water pooled around my feet, to avoid water running out I placed a towel on the floor by the door. I finished using the facility and was getting ready to go dry my hair to leave when I saw they flicker the lights (signaling they're closing), I looked at the clock and it was 4:15. I started getting dressed and was preparing to dry my hair when Britney (janitorial assistant) informed me that they were closing at 4:30 because their AC was not working. I was rushed out, a visit meant to relax me turned into a stressful & rushed situation that would have been prevented if I had been informed of their plans to close early. Additionally, the towels were so worn they should have been replaced (prior to the pandemic this was a classy place with top notch supplies). Hotels have better towels! Luxury spa with luxury prices - but without a luxury experience! I arrived for my mani/pedi. Requested pedi first and was promptly told no, it was not allowed and she "had" to do manicure first. I then spent 45 minutes twisted sideways in a pedicure chair because that is where did the manicure. I brought my own polish and specifically told technician I wanted a natural look and to use one base coat, one coat of color and a tip coat. Nope! She proceeded to use a matte base coat and two coats of polish followed by top coat. I was told this was to make color of my "neutral" color polish stand out. This was exactly what I told her I did not want! For pedicure they used a rolled up strip of paper towel to separate toes. Do not waste your money on this place. All of it was fantastic. The environment was lovely, staff was amazing. I was given a $100 gift certificate for my birthday. Upon checking in at the desk I let the receptionist know I had a gift certificate. I asked if they wanted to check the balance and they assured me I could take care of it at the end of my visit. Everything was absolutely incredible except with the check out and payment process. I presented my $100 gift certificate towards payment and they explained it was already redeemed and the balance remaining was zero dollars. When the desk researched the account, they realized it was an error. The gift certificate was credited to the person who purchased it. Due to a glitch in the system the purchaser had the gift certificate as a credit on their own account and was able to redeem my gift certificate toward their own treatments. Due to their system error my $100 gift certificate was not valid and showed a zero balance. I was required to submit my $100 gift certificate and pay the remaining balance but they did offer a $4 discount for their $100 error. read more

I had appointments booked for me and my daughter on New Years Eve for hair and makeup. I had received several text/email reminding me of our appointments. There was absolutely not one call and I spoke to the spa twice that week. the front desk girl looked at me as if "ok what do you want me to do" I just paid a few hundred dollars to plan a day with my man to finally relax and have a day for us. I prepared and called ahead to confirm. The purpose of this business is the spa services provided. I understand mistakes are made and it happens. But when I mention it, you completely disregard it and literally say I don't know what to tell you. Good to know you will not take feedback and work to try to prevent it. This Spa has been my absolute favorite Spa! No where like it in Brevard or Orange County. Sadly today I didn't have the experience I was hoping for. I decided to splurge on the Hammam Ritual and had high expectations of this all inclusive service. Patrick was the therapist and he was great, this is not at all about him. The process of the service left me feeling regretful for spending that amount of money (240). There is a lot involved in this service and it just felt all too rushed through each step and was not relaxing at all. Patrick was great. He had a great personality, we laughed, and the massage portion was great, but not nearly long enough. Maybe I expected more " bang". I feel like for the same price I could have gotten the 80 min massage and facial and would have enjoyed it a lot more. The only reason I am giving this visit 3 stars is because of Patrick and Lauren. Now my facial with Lauren was AMAZING!!!! I would give her service 10 stars if I could. Anyway.... Save your money- it's not what it's cracked up to be.
