After reading the stellar reviews on Yelp, I called for a last minute appointment and thought myself lucky to secure a late morning appointment for the following day. I had to remind the gentleman I spoke with to take my name-OK, a bit odd, but maybe they were just busy. I arrived about 15 minutes early on Saturday morning (10:45). There was only one car in the parking lot, but when I went inside the waiting room was empty but a woman quickly emerged from the back of the building to greet me. She did not speak much english or look for my reservation, but appeared to understand and indicated that I should go into the room saying, "You wait, sleep...".Another oddity, but she didn't speak much english and I assumed the therapist was running late. The entire building seemed very quiet and I am sure that I was the only client there, but didn't think that was very unusual given the time of day. After all, those Yelp reviews had been amazing! I asked to use the restroom first and she pointed to a room nearby. The bathroom was a little dirty and there was no soap. I began to look around and listen for other people. Silent except for some soft, overhead music. When I emerged from the restroom the woman was gone, but she had already shown me where to go, so I went back into the treatment room and undressed and laid down on the table, thinking my massage therapist would be in soon. The sheets on the treatment table were clean however, I noticed my feet were covered with sand/dirt-the treatment room floor was dirty. I laid there for about 15 minutes, my discomfort growing..I finally got up, got dressed and got out of there. I don't know if the five, stellar reviews I read on Yelp were legitimate or not...but my experience was very strange and unsettling....Won't be back... read more
