Stopped in for a holiday distresser deep tissue massage with Veronica - amazing! Just the right amount of pressure but she adjusted when needed. Highly recommend her and the spa if you live in the area. The lobby and rooms are nice and clean and the room music is soothing and inviting for relaxing! Can not say enough about this great find. I found from Yelp ( I rely upon the consensus on Yelp a lot) and they were correct! This place is wonderful!! Clean, friendly, efficient, customer focused! I decided to gift my mom a facial and Talin did an outstanding job!!! My mom loved it and left me a third voice mail at 9:30 pm telling me again how much she enjoyed and how great her face felt. I know Talin went above and beyond and I appreciate her kindness very much. While my mom was getting a facial I got a pedicure from Brielle and it was delightful. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her work. I believe the products are quality as well. Kristin was giving a pedicure next to me and she seems like a real sweetheart as well. Next time I come here I will get a facial or a massage. Everyone was nice and I think the prices are appropriate. Kudos to this place. Great find. read more

This is my fiancé and I favorite place to come get massages. We've never had a bad massage at essentials. I've been with Essentials for years, on and off for maybe 6 years. Massage Therapists come and go so I don't have anyone I stick with. Usually, I always ask for the "strongest" person or someone who can give VERY firm pressure. My last visit, I didn't make such a request with is MY FAULT entirely. But I did ask for a deep tissue massage so I was hoping it would work out well. I had Cameron, who was very polite, he gave a really great relaxation massage. I did ask a few times for firmer pressure but we got to a point where he said he wasn't sure he could do anymore. But it was not to my satisfaction (I like it really ... really firm). Nor did I think it felt like a deep tissue massage. A deep tissue should feel ... deep right? Did not ask me to fill a COVID waiver. In the room, you have the option to take off your mask. I choose to wear mine. Overall, I personally feel like this visit was mediocre. I will continue to come since I should have made sure the therapist could meet my expectations. I will be needing another massage again within the next week. read more

My boyfriend and I visited Essentials Massage & Facials last night (Monday) for a couple's massage. I got the deal on Groupon, and it did not disappoint. It was my first massage ever and certainly won't be my last! The environment was so calming, and the mix of exfoliation, essential oils, hot stones and a relaxing massage made it one of the best Monday nights I've ever had! We're not from the Florida area, so I was relieved to see a "masks required" sign on the door. However, my massage therapist never wore a mask, although my boyfriend's did. That was the only part that was a little weird to me. However, we had a great experience and would recommend this location to anyone for a relaxing treat-yourself moment! read more

I found this place about a year or so ago. I've enjoyed every massage and facial. I prefer female masseuses. I called this morning to see if I booked with a male or female as I did it online. I was told a male and there were no females available. I've been in pain so I went through with my 90 minute relax & deep tissue massage with Cameron. OMG I was so happy that I didn't change to someone else. He did an amazing job. He made sure the pressure was good. He really worked on what we discussed before starting. Went for a second massage with a different therapist. Thought I'd give it another try. First time, no pressure with Shirley and she talked the entire time. No peace. No relax. No relief. Tried again with Regina. Combo massage, deep/relax. Had problem areas which were addressed however, was taken back at 10 after and finished st 10 til. My hour massage lasted 40 minutes. RIP OFFFF!! People work hard for their money, and then to expect a $20 tip! To top it off, she wrapped a towel around my neck and yanked. THAT IS NOT RELAXATION OR DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE. That's no type of massage at all. Leave that for the chiropractors. Please. I'm done giving this place a chance. Back to Mia's. So upset they wasted my money and time and now my neck hurts but that wasn't a complaint going in. read more

I visited again for a deep tissue massage and am very pleased. They are mindful of your comfort level. If the pressure applied is too soft or too rough... let them know. As for their tipping policy you can tip what you prefer but they have signs regarding their tipping policy. $10 for good, $15 for great, $20 for super. The choice is yours.
