There was NEVER a time that I didn't feel cared for and important. And I LOVE that EVERYTHING I need to do to fight this disease is ALL IN ONE PLACE! Makes it easier and convenient for the patients. Livia was my first contact and she set the precedent and no one has disappointed or fallen short. My medical oncologist (Dr. Chaudhary) and radiation oncologist (Dr. Gorty) are wonderful and patient doctors taking the time to explain everything to you. My Chemo nurse are AMAZING!! It is truly a work of heart for them . I would definitely recommend this group of oncologist should you ever find yourself or a loved one in need of help to fight this awful disease. I've been coming here for years. My doctor always requests a diagnostic mammogram and for a while…read morewas following up with ultrasounds. This is the only location that offers those within Pomona Valley Medical Center. Which essentially means the radiologist looks at it immediately and provides you with the results right there. It's about as good of experience as you can get when it comes to that exam lol. The security staff, reception, and all the staff are all pleasant and helpful. They offer nice changing rooms and lockers to prep for the exam, and the entire process is usually pretty quick. Personally, I appreciate getting the official results quickly. It is also always followed up with official results from my doctor as well as a letter in the mail.

They were very helpful and down to earth and no matter how many times I called and bugged Carol about something on my mind, she was always very helpful and nice. She also went out of her way to get things to me and work around my schedule. If you ever have to have thyroid cancer, see Dr. Rao and Carol. They'll treat you right!

Terrible front desk experience. When this clinic moved to…read morea new location, they never informed patients. I went to my usual appointment only to find the office completely gone. I tried calling, but no one answered. I ended up asking a nearby pharmacy, and they were the ones who told me where the clinic had moved. When I finally arrived at the new office, they told me I was "late." I explained the situation, but the staff barely reacted, as if they didn't care at all. Then they told me that my doctor wasn't even in the office that day -- even though I had an appointment scheduled. No one notified me about the move, no one notified me about the doctor's schedule change, and no one answered the phone. A medical office should inform patients about important changes like relocation and doctor availability. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable.

She told my mom eating a "healthy diet" won't help her cancer and to not even give that a chance. Doctor said to focus on her pain meds because basically she had no chance to live. I understand that when cancer spreads that fast that it's not easy to treat, however, how can eating crap be good for you when your cancer is estrogen based and basically feeds off of sugar? She's a horrible doctor.. Too non chalant for my taste, too blunt, not nice. If I could give her no stars I would. She wouldn't even tell us that there are several different types of radiation to choose from.. Definitely a doctor that's controlled by money and big pharmaceutical companies. Doesn't want to help nor does she care about life, just wants to make as much money off of cancer as she possibly can, by making her pay for the most expensive treatments and pills. That's all.

I had a bad experience this morning that gave me a bad taste in my mouth concerning this business…read more(Advance Oncology Center) in West Covina, Ca. As we arrived to take my 91 yr old mother to her appointment, having 16 daily total appointments, apparently one of the male workers explained that we have been late everyday for the past week since we started taking my mother and they been accommodating us, which is untrue and unfounded. They have not been accommodating us, in fact we are the ones waiting to be called when arriving early. I explained we haven't been late as the appointment was at 10:45am and not 10:00am as he stated. The worker stated he wouldn't be able to see my mother today since we were late and had other patients. After review of the print out of all 16 appointments, today appointment was in fact at 10:00am as the worker said but every other appointment was at 10:45am. Now sharing rides among 3 of my siblings, we have been sharing, taking my mother to her appointments. Some coming from different areas Covina, Glendora, and Pasadena not knowing traffic and to be late, didn't feel we should have been treated and scolded when we been there on time. I felt if we need to wait, when we're early for appointments, sometimes over 30 minutes, a few minutes shouldn't be an issue. I sure hope they have the same schedule as given. Maybe practice on better service skills and review the schedule times, before assuming we are late numerous of times.
