It really is a deep tissue full body massage with a little extra attention to your feet. They really massage everything - like your butt cheeks - but I did not feel uncomfortable at all. My massage therapist kept pulling my shirt down so my lower back wasn't exposed and I thought that was a courteous gesture. I will definitely be back again and soon! Highly recommended! I couldn't have said 5 because I know I'm working at that time. I understand that they possibly misunderstood via phone. However when I went in they redeemed my Groupon sat me down in the massage chair, then when she went to check her appointment book she yelled at me and said my app was for 5. She yelled at me in front of other customers and made me get up. It was very rude and embarrassing. They gave me the attached hand written note, she says it says I can go back another day, but I don't read this language so I don't even know if that's accurate.

So I was on the hunt for a reliable place near us that wouldn't cost a fortune. After researching a bunch of places, I decided to give Spa Oasis in Naperville a try. And I'm so glad I did! Yes, it's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. And yes, you won't be getting the fancy amenities of a spa. But you will get a blissful massage at a great price. A 90-minute deep-tissue massage for $115 is a shockingly good deal. (I paid close to $200 for 90 minutes at the fancy Chicago spa I used to frequent, making it a luxury gift I treated myself to only a few times a year.) Spa Oasis accepts walk-ins, but they also have a booking tool on their website that lets you select your preferred staff member (provided she's working that day). This is where things get a little frustrating--and why I'm giving Spa Oasis four stars instead of five ... Even when you request a specific staff member, you won't always get her. (We both love Sunny, so we always book a day/time when she's working so that one of us will benefit from her magic touch.) But the past two times we went in for a pre-scheduled couples massage with Sunny, neither of us got her. :( We also have regularly experienced the service disruptions other reviewers have mentioned, where one of the masseuses leaves in the middle of a treatment to answer the phone, direct a walk-in to come back at a later time, accept a delivery, etc. It would be great if they had a dedicated staffer to handle the administrative stuff so the masseuses didn't have to. That said: We are STILL talking about the massages we got a week ago from Lucia (the owner) and Tina. WOW! I've also had great experiences with Annie. As one of the other reviewers said, I want to go every single day. If only!
