Huge variety of fruit (blackberries!), a gigantic spread of different crackers and cheeses, 3 types of bruschetta bar, grilled asparagus, mushroom, tomatoes and zucchini, artichoke hearts stuffed with spinach/artichoke dip (addictive), butternut squash ravioli in a butter/sage sauce...this was all I ate, and I know there were a few options with salmon in them as well. As a vegetarian, it's nice to know there are really delicious catering options that large amounts of people will love, even if they are meat-eaters (not that I'll be getting married in the next 30 years or anything)...If you find yourself at an event catered by Classic Catering, consider yourself lucky!

For the private event, it was a 70th birthday party at a friend's home. Every guest was impressed with their professionalism, the food and the set-up. I looked into their holiday menu to make our Thanksgiving a little less stressful and I was blown away with every aspect. Ordering online was a cinch, pick up was a breeze, and most importantly the food was incredible. I even called the day before Thanksgiving to double our original Turkey order and they were able to accommodate us and were so kind. We attended a December event where each and every item was covered - decorations were immaculate, the plating was with fine china, the food was magnificent (raw oysters, amazing entrees, and social interaction subtly provided for.) We also were part of a November event with mostly desserts, again - they design the occasion to your wishes. And once again, it was memorable, oh wait, I should say "inspired". They are not the "cheapest" caterer - but then again, if you want memorable or inspired, it's worth it. I decided to order the scone, which he told me was a lemon scone, even though I told him that the white icing had speckles on it, similar to vanilla bean. He affirmed in a snotty way, "It's lemon." After I received the scone and took a bite, I knew that I was right. I asked for a refund in which he insisted that what I had was a lemon. I told him how it didn't taste like lemon but vanilla bean. He insisted again. Yes, we were doing this. He lamented that his bakery person told him that it was lemon. Hey, if your bakery person tells you lemon, it's not on me. He gave me the refund. The latte I received was supposed to be a pistachio latte, not a pistachio latte taste at all. I wasn't sure what it was.
