I came on a Groupon for a one hour massage, a neuro spine exam and a chiropractic adjustment. The offices look very professional and everything is clean and fresh and new. The staff is friendly and helpful. In terms of the services I received, I thought the massage was great - it was very relaxing and felt like it was great for my muscles, there was just enough pressure exerted by the massage therapist. I would call it a sports massage as opposed to a Swedish massage. The chiropractor was a very nice man, however, the very first thing he did was recommend that I go get xrays for some minor pain I was experiencing in my hip joint. I know some chiropractors make use of xrays, it's just not my preference because I try to focus on natural remedies. I feel like the target market here is people who have been in auto accidents who have insurance or are going to sue someone else's insurance for treatment. It's one of their things listed on the front door - "Auto Injury". If you're looking for a natural holistic treatment like me you might prefer a different chiropractor. read more

I bought a Living Social deal and used it for a massage and chiropractic exam. I had really bought the deal for the massage but scheduled the exam as well since it came with it. I am so glad I did! Dr. Tran was great- I've suffered from migraines and headaches and based on what was found am hopeful that adjustments will alleviate those. I also enjoyed my massage (thanks KT!) and look forward to returning. I did tip for the massage as that is what I am used to doing, but found out afterwards that because it is a patient-oriented business and not a spa that it is was not customary to do so. read more

I originally came because my boyfriend and I wanted to use a massage/ adjustment Groupon and I only wish I had come here sooner! After just three adjustments I have a new lease on life. After my initial consultation Dr. Tran recommended a treatment plan. My insurance does not cover, but their cash up front is extremely reasonable. I used to get tension headaches at least three to four days a week. Those are gone now. I used to not be able to cross my legs, now I can with each one. I used to slump my shoulders forward, now I naturally keep my shoulders back with no effort. Before I went there I didn't realize I had such problems with my neck, but obviously that was the cause of my many ailments. I have been diagnosed in the past with degenerative disk disease, spinal stenosis, and a herniated L4-L5. I suffered for so long and this is the first time since 2009 that I have ever found relief. You have to keep going with the adjustments. Chiropractic care is not a one visit cure, especially if you have done a lot of damage to your body. This place has made me a chirocare patient for life. read more

Over the past two months, the office staff here has become family to me. Sara, Teyana, Jessica, and Tonya are a joy to deal with and are very professional and courteous. I decided to use a Groupon that they were offering online for a Chiropractic adjustment, massage, and a consultation. The Drs. Trang were both a pleasure to deal with and knowledgable. They did a back scan and determined that I would need to come in for weekly visits for a massage, some stretching and an adjustment. They were able to work with me towards my insurance deductible for the office visits. All the LMTs there are great, but Carlos is my favorite. He was always very professional and but very easy and fun to work with. I was then recommended to see their PA, Rae for some Sacroiliac joint shots. Needless to say, after all this therapy, my back and neck are definitely feeling better. I would highly recommend Essentials Medicine for anyone in need of chiropractic care. read more

This is my first ever review on Yelp and happy to say it is one that is totally worth the time. I have a two-fold issue; one with my neck and migraines and also lower back issues from a fall. I have to say I thought I'd be having treatments for months before anything started to feel better. How happy and relieved I was to start feeling better just after a few visits. Dr. Tran is amazing, he not only has helped me in such a short time frame, but also takes the time to explain what is going on and layout the plan to help you in the best way possible. In addition, the staff are super friendly and helpful. They work with your schedule and there isn't any pressure to do or not do anything you're not comfortable with. I look forward to my continued maintenance to get and be healthy! :) read more

Dr. Tan is a great chiropractor, we have worked together for several years. Beautiful office, and extremely knowledgeable staff.

I had originally made an appointment at Essential ChiroCare based on Yelp reviews while looking for a Chiropractor in the area. A couple days before my appointment I decided to cancel to see my general doctor instead in case the pain I was feeling in my back was organ related. Soon afterward, I saw there was a Groupon that made a visit to Essential extremely inexpensive (for me at least, my insurance does not cover chiropractic care) and for $60 I'd get an exam, some spinal exam that used a machine, an hour massage and an adjustment. If I'd kept my original appointment, the cost would have been around $100 for those services so I figured it would be well worth it. There was a cheaper groupon (I believe it was $30) but that didn't include the adjustment or spinal exam and since that is why I was going, I decided to get the more expensive one. To start out, Dr. Tran was so incredibly nice/genuine person. I really liked him and the rest of the staff. He listened to my attempts to try and explain the pain in my lower back and made attempts to find what points caused it. Other than that though, there was a one minute adjustment (I've never had one before but have heard from friends that they are generally more extensive), an hour massage, and a prescription for an x-ray (not included in the groupon). After getting my x-ray ($60) and returning, Dr. Tran told me that there didn't seem to be anything causing the pain, but I did have some disc degeneration in my lower back. That shouldn't be causing the pain however and is a gradual occurrence possibly from running. My experience with Essential was definitely a three star experience. Everyone was incredibly friends but I didn't leave feeling better physically or mentally, and I still have no idea why my back hurts. Perhaps if I'd gone in without the Groupon, my pain would have taken the front seat to the "spa experience" that seemed to be highlighted in my time there, which I felt clear that it wasn't what I was looking for. read more

DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE... They appeared to have good reviews online. I purchased their groupon to try it out to see if it's something I might stick with. THREE TIMES they scheduled an appointment with me, and only a few hours before my appointment they call and cancel one me??? My appointment(s) had been on their schedule all week they can't just follow through with the appointment or at least tell me sooner... THREE TIMES they did this. I have paid in advance through groupon. It really feels like a scam, so I will advise people DO NOT BUY!! Maybe the chiropractors or the massage therapists are good but I'll never know because they will never follow through with an appointment. I mean I was already frustrated after they cancelled the first time several weeks ago...and now AGAIN? I know if I was cancelling on appointments with customers or clients like this at any of my jobs, I would be fired. Soo yeah RUDE and really feels like a scam at this point, stay away! read more

An amazing group of therapist and doctors. They have always been very helpful in every way and always in a timely manner.

I have to agree with the other reviews 100%, Dr Tran is excellent and the staff are fantastic. I have had a great experience in their office. The Dr's expertise is on point for my medical condition and the additional services have added to the success of my medical recovery. I am so glad I found them and will continue to go back. I highly recommend this office to those who suffer from scoliosis. read more

Dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck I was in serious pain. I had went and got massages other places and I realized. Massage doesn't help unless you get a chiropractic adjustment also. The masseuse did not hold back or handle me with kid gloves. I felt like I got my ass kicked and it was awesome! The only problem with the place is that I don't know if I should tip or not. I want to but it's a Dr.'s office so I don't know the etiquette on it. The staff is amazing, the Dr. Is super nice and they're have helped me greatly. You can also find pretty sweet groupon deals. That's how we found the place and so happy we did. read more

Went here a few times and felt they were always pushing something new, which would cost more than the initial cost of the treatment plan they outlined. Seeing what they charged my insurance and what they called the procedures seemed fraudulent. read more

I had an incident with them that I only got a 20 minute massage instead of a 50 minute one. They said that they had to stop at least 15 minutes before they closed, at 6:00 p.m. They never mentioned that when I got there. I was not happy about it and they acted like they didn't care. I called them telling them about the situation and said they would get back to me, but never got a return call. read more

Years ago I met Dr Tran after going to 8 different chiropractors for severe pain, I was debilitated to the point it was beyond bearable. This is one of the top healers I have ever come in contact with I recommend only him to my friends and family. Its the gift that changed my life from suffering to one of physical growth and well being. I will never forget how he brought a 6:4" 240 lb man to sobbing crying with relief after months of pain it stopped and I can enjoy life again. ( I then enrolled in a year therapy with him)Thank you pay his gift forward and tell someone who needs his help. read more
