The lab appears to have its own reception desk. The sign could be referring to the main reception area but it is not clear. The lab reception desk is only for an Optum employee to stare at you snd say sit you will be called. No greeting just a stare and told to sit. Terrible way to run a clinic. Until this appointment, I have NEVER filed any kind of a formal complaint against a medical professional (and there have been a couple times that I thought about it). After my appointment with Dr. Scarr, I went straight home and made a complaint through The Everett Clinic's customer service website. More concerning to me than his general lack of respect and professionalism were the following: 1. He did no more than make a cursory glance at the medical history I had just provided to the assistant before jumping to several (incorrect) conclusions about why I was there and how he wanted to treat me. 2. He made multiple out of date, incorrect, and potentially dangerous statements about the treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (a specific autoimmune thyroid disease). And made some rude remarks about my concerns being cosmetic in nature rather than truly medical. 3. He doesn't understand depression and the need for pharmaceutical treatment. Period. And he is insensitive when discussing it. I left in tears and absolutely furious. Most telling to me was that when I scheduled a follow-up appointment with a different doctor the receptionist didn't bat an eye and signed me right up with a primary care physician that hadn't been accepting new patients when I called three days before.

HE didn't put me on prednisone which should have been the first course of action, He didn't take anything about me seriously. I don['t think he likes disabled clients. I may have had more hearing if he would have referred me to a specialist. He had no business treaing a hearing loss when he said he know nothing aboutt it. He always ran into the room and ran right back out after just a few miinues.

IMHO this doctor provided NO valuable advice around what would be appropriate tests... he was only interested in racking up as many tests as possible (whether to cover his butt, or to line his pocket I can't say). AND this doctor was a referral from Swedish in Edmonds.! Our healthcare system is broken!

My family's physical exam schedule has been delayed, which has caused major difficulties with the I-485 schedule. I had to travel twice from Bellevue to Lynnwood for urine and blood tests, even though I had normal samples taken. They got mad at us for calling the business line when we called to check and complain to review the two mistakes. If they had done it right, they wouldn't have called. The service spirit of the staff is terrible and when I first asked for the cost, they gave me the wrong price, so I had to pay more. At first, when he strongly protested that he would not apologize, he said that he would at best apologize and compensate, but he refused because he made questionable compensation in good faith. They are not experts and do not deserve star ratings. If someone mentions Chu Clinic, I won't hesitate to vote. They don't even reflect. Hospitals are also a type of service, but it seems to have become a habit for a long time.

I recently had to have some lab work done and this location was relatively close to home. I chose…read morethis location specifically because it only listed three types of testing: Routine labwork, pediatric collections, and H pylori breath tests. In these times of coronavirus I purposely did not choose a location that also did employment drug testing or any other testing that might indicate a lot of people coming in and out. This is a small office located in a shared medical business building. The parking lot is a little tight but parking is free. I appreciated their online check in, which somehow was already done for me by the lab employees five minutes before I arrived. When you enter the office building, the Labcorp office is on the left side. The office is pretty tiny, with just a partition separating the collection area and the "lobby" which is really just two chairs and a small table where you can sign in. Aside from the two techs, I was the only person there at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning. Score! I was seen immediately and out the door in about 10 minutes. The techs were alright--not super nice and not rude, just alright. And I do appreciate that the one who drew my blood stepped away from me to give me 6' of distance when we were finished. A good location for a quick blood draw.
