I would give Optum Silverlake clinic a negative rating if I could. I went to my appointment last…read moreTuesday, appearing 15 minutes early as requested. I explained to the medical assistant that I was angry at Optum, but not at the staff because they had always been kind to me. I also explained that I have brain damage to my hippocampus, so it was difficult to control my emotions if I became upset. That assistant (who would not give me her name, a guilty conscience, perhaps?) proceeded to treat me coldly and without any empathy. Of course that was upsetting to me. I began crying and she began threatening me with "security" or "police". I asked multiple times just to see the medical professional for my appointment and she refused. Apparently, while she was gone to get "security", she must have told the rest of the staff that I was the problem because she came back with a huge guy named Derek D. and told me that my appointment would not be honored. I wish I had a photograph of the smirk on her face when she said that. Honestly, I still believe that the ARNP (Uman Gahlot) and the MD (Dr. Nelson) are actually kind people and if they had spent 5 minutes with me the situation would have ended. The assistant, Ms. No One Identifiable, had made sure that option was blocked to me. I was escorted out of the building by another big, burly guy. While in the parking lot, I called the police myself and informed them that The Optum Clinic, Silver Lake, had refused to let me keep my appointment. Then I left. Honestly, I've never been treated to badly by a medical clinic in my entire life. Then they had the gall to send me a message today that I could sign up for another provider! Believe me, they could not PAY me enough to ever go there again. I've decided, since my great doctor, Dr. Murphy, left Optum Mukilteo in 2022, that I have several better options. After I recover from the trauma caused by this assistant, I will be writing to Optum's CEO in Minnesota and letting him know how displeased I am with Optum in general. Everett Clinic used to be a great clinic, but not anymore.

I knew that it was wrong, so their nurse kept sending in people saying 120/80. I drove down the street to the pharmacy to use their cslibrated machine. I printed out a receipt stating that: MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS 165/123. The "head nurse" called me the next day and yelled at me for posting my experience. She told me to shut up and that her staff was always right. My doctor saw the print out, took my BP, and knew that the 120/80 was an easy out. after that I always had him take my blood pressure. And bring my cuff. If you have a complaint with these people, which you most likely will, they will treat you terribly.

She answered all my questions and provided suggestions for supporting my son. We've gone to other pediatricians and she was the first pediatrician that had patience and empathy for my toddler son that gets scared of doctor's offices. She let him put the stethoscope on his chest, and she pointed to him where to put it. She had light up toys to distract him and let him play with. I've never had a doctor that prepared or patient. We will continue going to Flourish Family Medicine. There were a lot of forms to fill out before the appointment which took up a lot of time, but it did provide the doctor with a lot of information, so I appreciated it.

My only bit of feedback is around the hounding that the office staff does to get patients to fill out the questionnaires. For my baby's first appt I was having some trouble adjusting at home to all of my new responsibilities that came with taking care of a newborn, my toddler and myself having just finished a high risk pregnancy for gestational hypertension. As I was finally sitting down to complete the paperwork prior to the deadline while in between feeds I received yet another reminder call. I explained my situation to the lady that called me and she had very little empathy.

The office environment is warm and welcoming. I love coming here and seeing the two very sweet allergy-free dogs that romp around the office. I have always been the stubborn young adult who has firmly held the belief that I don't need insurance. I don't have any chronic medical issues, but as you might expect, things happen! Luckily for me, Guardian Family Care doesn't actually take insurance, but instead has a very, very, affordable monthly plan which includes visits anytime I need them. There is no messy insurance paperwork/deductible/co-pay/etc, and if they have the medication or shot you need in house, they'll take care of you on the spot! * Vaccinations for my trip to India? Check! * Immediate treatment and medication for a terrible allergic reaction to a spider bite in my cheek? Check! * Getting me in for blood tests when I was passing out almost daily and teaching me about my blood sugar issues? Done! (and now my blood sugar seems to have leveled out pretty well) * Free tetanus shot at the same time my fiance had an appointment just because I was overdue for one? Absolutely! Simply put, the doctors Morgan (Dr. Robert and Dr. Nancy) have definitely saved my bacon on numerous occasions, for which I am very grateful. They give you their time, attention, and honest to goodness care. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't have insurance but needs the occasional check in. Even if you do have insurance, give them a try!

My friend is a high maintenance patient - he's been described as a medical nightmare - but Dr. ML goes above and beyond to give him the very best health care possible. She is always super attentive, very concerned and involved, and she and her staff can be counted in all circumstances. Dr. ML and the Everett Clinic staff are extremely approachable and are responsive to all of my concerns, requests, etc. I could not ask for a better medical team for my friend, and I regret that he is on federal aid so the clinic only collects a fraction of the usual rate for his treatment. Naturally, this does not matter to Dr. ML, and she cares for my friend as thoroughly and compassionately as she does her patients with better insurance. She is an excellent doctor who continuously amazes us with her level of expertise. Countless times my friend has told her his symptoms and she will say, "I'm going to test you for _________." Sure enough, she's usually right! I admire Dr. ML so much that I've become her patient myself. I couldn't be happier with my care! My only (very) minor complaint is that Dr. ML sometimes runs behind schedule. This is hardly surprising, considering the high level of care she provides to her patients. If she gives everybody the time and attention she gives my friend and I, I'm surprised she ever makes home at night!

For the most part, all the doctors that we've seen have been amazing, the exceptions being a few times that my children's visits were not recorded correctly and still have yet to be fixed even though I still have the documentation from those visits. Before they became Stay Well Family Medicine and moved to Colby, they were on Broadway and their support staff were always warm and friendly, responsive to patient questions and concerns, and proactive at problem-solving any issues brought to their attention. Now, however, since they've become Stay Well Family Medicine, their support staff leaves an immense amount of quality customer service to be desired. Case in point: I logged into our patient portal through Charm yesterday to double check my children's appointment times for their well-child checks, and noticed that my daughter's name was spelled incorrectly, and it was not reflecting that she's been seen since 2019. So I called, which happened to be after hours, and left a voicemail with my concerns, asking about the issue that I noticed. I received a call back today from their front desk lady, I don't recall her name. But by the sound of her voice, she's the regular receptionist for them. She let me know that on her side she can see that my daughter has an appointment and wasn't sure why I can't see it on my side and proceeded to tell me that I need to call Charm to ask them why. I respectfully voiced my concern about asking the patient to call on an issue that has to do with their tech since I've worked at a health clinic before it is never the patient's responsibility to call tech-support to ask about a tech issue, that it is the clinic's responsibility to do (please bare in mind, I was truly kind, not just a perspective thing: calm voice, kind words, didn't raise my tone. Since I've been on the other side, I get communication with a disgruntled patient/parent can be challenging, so I was as gentle as I could be with my concerns). I acknowledged to her that I understand it's not her fault but I would request that they look into it please and let me know what's going on - if there was some kind of an issue with the records not being uploaded into my daughters chart. I voiced concern about not seeing her records and that s been an issue in the past too. I didn't even get the chance to ask her about the spelling of the name before the receptionist cut me off saying it wasn't their job to do it and passed me off to a doctor because she got so frustrated with the conversation with me. I then spoke to Dr. blow who looked into it - turns out it was the spelling of my daughter's name. Dr Blow sent me a new link to get the problem fixed, which was thankfully an easy resolution. I thanked her and said I appreciate that she helped me problem solve through it. and also attempted to acknowledge again that I understood it wasn't her receptionist's fault this happened, however I don't feel that it was my responsibility to have to call Charm to fix it. Dr Blow then proceeded to snap at me that "not everybody has the same tech talents as other people and so it doesn't fall to them to problem solve tech-support, that's the patient's responsibility" and then she wouldn't even let me talk after that and said "well, we'll see you next Tuesday. Thanks so much for calling. Have a great day, bye." I was dumbfounded. Unfortunately even though we love the doctor that we normally see, Dr. Sambrano, and have been seeing her for several years now, based on this experience, which has been horrible, it seems like we're going to end up having to find a different naturopathic clinic to go to. If they can fix their customer service Issues this would be a great clinic to be seen at. Sadly, with the current way they're treating patients, I can't recommend it any longer to family and friends.
