FIRST AND FOREMOST, DISREGARD THE ONE NEGATIVE REVIEW. They never hired Himes to perform any type…read moreof work, they were simply dissatisfied with not getting a quote on the agreed date. We highly recommend Himes Fencing. We hired Adam and Mike a while ago to install a small add-on to our existing vinyl fence. We were so impressed with his work that we later handed Adam a copy of our survey and asked him to replace the entire 200 foot. My husband now grins every time he looks at the job, and chuckles whenever he opens and closes any of the four gates. He grew up with and worked with some of the largest architects and contractors on the East Coast. He has an eye for detail and can quickly find flaws. He said he hasn't seen THIS level of expertise, or better yet, OCD for the longest time. Aside from the insane quality of their work, Adam, Mike, and Jenn are honest and trustworthy. They even corrected us on a possible overpayment, which is unheard of anymore.

There were so many obstacles in my yard and they even hit a gas line but through it all Adam was so positive and made everything so much easier. Beware, beware and beware of Ballard Cox and Keith Sharp who are currently working under C & C…read morefence company. First of all they were incapable reading the property line and placed the fence incorrectly. Luckily, I was able to read the survey and after I showed them where the fence should have been placed they fixed it since they have not get paid yet. Once the job is finished forget that you will have warranty. Even though, Ballard said we have one year warranty on labor and two years on materials. A couple of days later when the fence and poles settled in the ground the poles were clearly not straight which was easily seen with naked eyes but definitely with a water leveler. In addition, they placed a double gate but didn't finish the piece that should have anchored it in the ground and wit any wind the gate wags wide open. All this happened in the beginning of June 2023. Since then we asked them numerous times to please fix the poles and gate closer but the only thing we got was "we will" but never actually showed up to do so. This job cost us nearly $3000 for about an 85feet fence, one regular gate, and one double gate. We paid cash so they probably saved money on taxes. I know there is not much I can do but I hope I can help someone else with this review.
