However, after seeing an ophthalmologist I was told my corrected vision was deteriorating, I was developing Strabismus, and had a central scotoma. All of which wasn't detected by them. It was completely useless or detrimental for me to see them. I also mentioned I though I had a "scotoma" he erroneous corrected me and said "it's not called scotoma; it's called glaucoma" and referred me to the wrong experts. I really feel like I was completely let down by them. I feel even though assessing someone's vision may just be a job to them. However, their incompetence or lack of care may negatively impact their client's quality of life.

I feared that it might take a week to have them replaced during the era of COVID-19. I need my glasses to work at the computer. I did a search and found Goo Goo Goggles that repaired eyeglasses. I sent in an online request last night. This morning, I had a reply and an appointment time later in the morning. I am just returning from my visit to Goo Goo Goggles. I was greeted at the door by Sam, who took my glasses and worked on them while I waited outside. (For those reading this in the future, during the COVID-19 pandemic, this was the norm for most establishments.) After about 10 minutes, my glasses were ready. The arm was reattached and was no longer loose! They are like new. I tried to pay, but was told that it was on them. This might not be your experience, but I was very impressed with the service. I will definitely return if I ever need my glasses repaired.

I was very specific in asking if the progressive lenses they sold were as good as the best nikon progressive lenses, and they said they were. I was told the sunglasses did not need the "high end" type of progressive lenses so bought the less expensive lenses for those. The regular glasses are completely not useable they are so bad, but ironically the sunglasses were better. They broke the frames and a lens once on the regular glasses and had the wrong colour tint on the sunglasses. Both had to be redone with the consequent delay. These people are incompetent and the "high end" progressive lenses they sell are not high end lenses. I paid several thousand dollars for a pair of useless glasses. This shop should be avoided at all costs if you have a complex or challenging prescription. Go with high end nikon lenses, I will have to do that after wasting my time here.
