It's honestly my favorite margarita spot in all of Houston. However, today I came across a staff member that I am not fond of. She's an overweight, shabby looking white woman with sunburnt cheeks. Her hair was not done and she had red acrylic nails with a few missing. She looks like she's probably in her 50s. Her energy was very dull/lackluster. I told her very CLEARLY that I would like a small, raspberry margarita. I paid for my drink, and then she followed up with asking me " You said you wanted watermelon flavor, right?". How the hell do you mix up the word "watermelon" with "raspberry"??? I would have understood if she said "strawberry"... but I feel like she was trying to be funny and micro aggressive since I am African American. I've came here many times and have never had an issue with my order, or people understanding me. I ended up throwing my drink away because she may have spit in it. The location is on a corner, so they have a drive through (when I was there, a few people stopped by). Great to grab for home happy hour and not have to worry about making drinks for you and yours. Parking is plentiful along the strip center. It's hard to see from Bay Area Blvd, it's on the same corner as Circle K (with access from both BAB and Space Center). On to the drinks. Wow, very tasty. Great mixture, no overbearing alcohol flavor. I got the medium for what I think was $10 and a great value (as good as a mixed drink or large beer in any other bar). I did the Mai Tai and Pina Colada. First of all, two drinks big red warning (I got my second to go so it didn't hit me until later in the evening). They are strong.
