As someone who likes to support local businesses I convinced myself to give one a try, Dr.tints was very close by and so I set up an appointment with them.
The way they carry out this setup of the appointment is charging you an up front fee of 25$ with a computerized system that seems to be lacking a few bits as it can get confusing with the communication.
The place is a "startup", a small office by some warehouses, no name outside of DR tints or anything to give a hint, nonetheless I contacted a young guy and what appears to be the parters/associate. They took my car, brought it inside this warehouse to begin the installation of the tints. There was no way to observe what was going on or anything of the sort, and they seemed a little surprised that the Tesla's had cameras that I can monitor through my phone. First red flag as supposedly this is something they had done before.
Post installation everything seemed ok with the traditional "bubbles will fade over a week or so" saying. A few days passed and what looked like a hole had opened in the tint, contacted them again and was told to come in, this is when they argued with me about asking if I had done anything to it, besides leaving the car in the sun why would I do anything to something I want done, x 2 they charged me 50$ for replacing the tint I had already payed for but I wanted it done, and done correctly so I went along with it.
Couple of days go by and life carried on when the wife noticed the beauty of the errors in the tint on the passenger side by the rear view mirror and other air pockets that never went away. They don't use specialized tools or machines to cut the tints specifically to size and don't use any protection for the front speakers as others do in the industry.
at this point it's safe to say that I won't be going back or anyone I know for that matter that asks me.

Un doctor con algo de experiencia en negligencia.
Como alguien a quien le gusta apoyar a los negocios locales, me convencí de probar uno, el Dr.tints estaba muy cerca, así que concerté una cita con ellos.
La forma en que llevan a cabo esta configuración de la cita es cobrarle una tarifa por adelantado de 25 $ con un sistema computarizado que parece carecer de algunos bits, ya que puede resultar confuso con la comunicación.
El lugar es una "startup", una pequeña oficina junto a algunos almacenes, sin nombre fuera de los tintes de DR ni nada que dé una pista, sin embargo, me puse en contacto con un joven y lo que parece ser los parters/asociado. Se llevaron mi coche, lo trajeron a este almacén para comenzar la instalación de los tintes. No había forma de observar lo que estaba pasando ni nada por el estilo, y parecían un poco sorprendidos de que los Tesla tuvieran cámaras que puedo monitorear a través de mi teléfono. Primera bandera roja ya que supuestamente esto es algo que habían hecho antes.
Después de la instalación, todo parecía estar bien con el dicho tradicional de "las burbujas se desvanecerán en una semana más o menos". Pasaron unos días y lo que parecía un agujero se había abierto en el tinte, me puse en contacto con ellos de nuevo y me dijeron que entrara, aquí es cuando discutieron conmigo sobre preguntar si le había hecho algo, además de dejar el coche al sol, ¿por qué iba a hacer algo con algo que quiero que se haga? x 2 me cobraron 50 $ por reemplazar el tinte que ya había pagado, pero quería que se hiciera, y que se hiciera correctamente, así que lo acepté.
Pasaron un par de días y la vida continuó cuando la esposa notó la belleza de los errores en el tinte en el lado del pasajero por el espejo retrovisor y otras bolsas de aire que nunca desaparecieron. No utilizan herramientas o máquinas especializadas para cortar los tintes específicamente a medida y no utilizan ninguna protección para los altavoces frontales como hacen otros en la industria.
En este punto es seguro decir que no volveré o nadie que conozca para el caso que me pregunte.
