But enough about that. The motto of this place is "Good Mood Food" which was true. They had burgers, sandwich, salad and many other stuff kinda like American food but with some French stuff. They also had cafe, beer and ice cream. The service was excellent. The gentleman was by himself for awhile and then a lady came and then I think it was their son or could have been the owner also. But he then helped out cause right after us a lot of people came. Mind you that this place was pretty much the only thing open in the area. You would have to drive to the other little towns if you wanted McDonald's or so on. But we were fine since this was a few feet from our hotel. I ordered the cheeseburger the way I like it. It came with fries and a drink. Which was not bad for the price. My mom ordered a fish sandwich. And I also got the little girl a burger since that is what she knows and likes. It took awhile since there was a few of us ordering. But it was alright we just chatted up and soaked up the nice place of Lourdes. The food was great. Therefore, you'll find a lot of (Irish) pubs and Jägermeister flying around this little town. The Burguer Lounge, and no - that extra "e" is not a spelling mistake, make sure you'll include it in your WiFi password - stands out! It's new, it's clean, it's almost hip. And, it has delicious burgers! On a sunny day, go and have your lunch on their roof terrace; Your view is fantastic, looking at the mountains and ski slope. Their burgers are their specialty; they have over 15 different ones on the menu and they taste darrrrrn good. Exactly what you need during your ski break or, when you have a hangover. The roof terrace is sponsored by Red Bull, so music-wise, it's quite a nightclub upstairs. If you don't mind eating lunch while listening to house tunes, you'll be all fine here. The interior downstairs (inside) is super nice; it reminds my of the cool, hipster places in Amsterdam. At night, they have a DJ spinning tunes and all sorts of gin to clench your thirst. Never saw anything like that in Spain, but I'm certainly no expert! There was a change in ownership a year or so ago and a British couple now runs the place. As a result, there's a chicken curry surprisingly on the menu which is decent but pricey for 15€. Ever since they took ownership of the place, the desserts, which were once homemade and rather lovely, are pretty bad now. Our half-frozen "tiramisu" was astonishingly inedible. These are a bit confusing, especially for those with limited French. When placing your order, you identify in which color-coded part of the restaurant you will be sitting. Your order will then be delivered to your table. This removes money-handling from employees, and you can sit while waiting for your order rather than standing around. This may be McDonalds' answer to an elevated minimum wage and/or problems with missing money.
