Came with friends for a quick bite. Not a ton of breakfast options on the actual menu, but they are willing to accommodate and make eggs your way. Though it's called New Orleans, most of the menu is Italian with pizza/pasta etc. they have a quick "snack" menu which we ordered from as we were in a hurry and the food came quickly. Located close to the Lourdes grotto, a street over and away from all the souvenir shops. Menu in English, Spanish, German and French. Quick bites for tourists and something for everyone: sandwiches, pasta, pizza and burgers, desserts and coffees. Several outdoor seating with plenty of shade from the afternoon sun. A waiter is assigned to sections and ours was friendly and polite. It's important to note that French service is not what most Americans expect which means they are not in your face nor coming by to refill waters. I had the opportunity to dine on two different items, Soupe à l'oignon and paella. Sadly, while the soup temp was perfect, although the bread used to seat the cheese was simple packaged croutons. The cheese appeared to be pre shredded. The soup viscosity was overly thick. Not very good at all. The paella, which was presented as a signature dish, had little to no spice and boarded on bland. The waiter was Portuguese so easier for us to communicate. It was right outside our hotel. It is open late. The spaghetti was decent. The Paella is my recommendation. It hit the spot after a long drive. They have beer but not really any mixed drinks. After the procession we came back to have crepes and a milkshake. It is also reasonably priced. read more

There are only 2 decent restaurants that are in the vicinity of the Grotto, New Orleans is definitely one of them. Don't let the name deceive you, they have quite tasty paellas. Skip the pizzas and just go for the paellas - mixto and chorizo were the best. The fish and chips were also noteworthy! read more

If you are craving American food, this is the place to go. Our party of 22 was seated quickly and food came out fast as well. Wait staff was friendly but pretty animated. At one point I was looking at my phone and the waiter put his hand over it. I had no idea what he meant as he gave us the wifi password and I did not see any signs of no phone usage anywhere. Also tried to pay a few times and he ignored our table. However, the food was good and huge portions for the price. Again very American. I got the baked chicken and it came with fries and string beans. Very filling and pretty flavorful. We also came here the next day to grab take out for our bus ride back. Got the cheeseburger and it tasted like a BK whopper. Not a bad thing! If I find myself in the area I would probably go back but prob for take out. read more

I would have given 5 stars but the place needs a bit more cleanliness on the menus, not bad but menus have a gritty feel which is basically hands that touch it many times throughout the day. Also, the flies were a bit bothersome. I'm not one for flies but shooing them away got in the way of enjoying my meal. read more

The food here is great! There are a lot of options here. I like the burger, the soup, and the pork chop (this is one of the most delicious pork chops I've ever eaten). The service is also great, the waiter who served us knows how to speak basic Filipino and is very friendly as well! I highly recommend this restaurant for tourists and pilgrims here in Lourdes. read more
