These are a bit confusing, especially for those with limited French. When placing your order, you identify in which color-coded part of the restaurant you will be sitting. Your order will then be delivered to your table. This removes money-handling from employees, and you can sit while waiting for your order rather than standing around. This may be McDonalds' answer to an elevated minimum wage and/or problems with missing money. read more
