Just from our phone conversations I felt more at ease, but getting to meet her and the staff in person and see where my daughter would be all day really sold me on this being the right place for her. I won't pretend that the infant program isn't on the expensive side, but I 100% feel like we get what we pay for in terms of care. That alone is enough for my husband and I to justify the cost, but it doesn't hurt that Jennifer and the assistant director Amy are incredibly sweet and friendly and the infant teachers are extremely communicative and hands-on (shout out Ms. Jessica and Ms. Melissa). She really seems to enjoy her time there and I love that she gets to interact with other kids. Also, no bouncers or swings so she's getting lots of that beneficial floor play and tummy time kids her age need. I also really enjoy the app they have. I not only get daily reports of how my daughter is doing, but they post the cutest photos and videos of her. Getting these little updates throughout the day definitely makes this mama worry less

She is 17 months old and had never been in daycare before, so it took us a little while to adjust, but everyone has been so patient, kind, and understanding throughout the transition. I've seen such positive growth in my daughter since she started -- she feels happy, secure, and excited to go each day. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is in such a nurturing and supportive environment. I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a safe and loving space for their child.

As a first time mother I was very nervous to leave my newborn child with anyone other than…read moreimmediate family..but I had to go back to work! I did an extensive review months before I was due ( even reviewing Yelp reviews!) and came across Learning Jungle- Escondido. I made an appointment and was given a tour by the Center's Director. As soon as I stepped into the facility I was happily greeted by staff. It was so nice to see so many of the children's arts projects, toys, and books around. I was then given complete insight as to what to expect after I dropped my son off. I decided to go with Learning Jungle- Escondido. The day finally came where I had to go back to work- 9 weeks after birth! I brought all the necessary things and was then greeted by Mrs. Mayra. She was so unbelievably kind to me as she could sense I was nervous and sad to leave my son ( I may even have cried!). She gave me a complete run down of what they would do that day and even said she would text me updates and pictures throughout the day. From that day forward I have never felt anything but absolute peace of mind when going to work. Dare I say that I have leaned on Mrs. Mayra a little too much during tough times when trying to adjust to being a new mom and not knowing what to expect or how to remedy colds ( and constipation) with my son. She has been gracious in answering all of my questions during the day and providing me some solutions that have helped immensely. I also want to commend Ms. Brynne who has also been a great caregiver as well. She has been really great with my sons PM care. Its always been nice to be greeted by her smile when I pick my son up, letting me know how he has been that day. Needless to say, here we are and my son just turned 11 months and my son is thriving! Its been so fun to see the daily photos Mrs. Mayra and Ms. Kathy send every day! Sadly, we soon will be relocating due to my work however if I could take Archer's teachers with us i would! It will be an emotional day when we have to leave but I am eternally grateful to have found Learning Jungle-Escondido and I would recommend their care to anyone who is need of honest, safe, and loving care for their child.

Teachers where so nice and excited loved their schedule also, they were excited and made it seem like we can start tomorrow. Once I brought up the CCTR program ( government funded program) the whole mood shifted all of sudden they didn't have no space until February ( I applied in December) no big deal. When February came they said to check back in the middle of February so I did. Mind you IM CHECKING IN NOT THEM!! I checked in again and then they said they don't have anything all the way until JULY. I definitely feel like if they knew I was gonna pay they would have took us literally the next week, it was very disappointing.

Naturally, we were a bit nervous about making a switch when he was so young--but the transition couldn't have gone more smoothly. He quickly settled in and formed bonds with both the teachers and the other children. One of the things we really appreciate is their communication. They share photos throughout the day (which my husband and parents especially enjoy) and provide updates at pickup. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into their daily activities too--they're creative and engaging. We've seen meaningful growth in our son, both developmentally and socially. He truly thrives around other kids, and we credit much of that to his experience at CCCC. Another standout quality is their flexibility. Our schedule is mostly part-time, but when we've needed full-time care for certain months, they've been incredibly accommodating. That kind of flexibility is hard to find at larger daycare centers.

The teachers are all bilingual, highly qualified, and have experience as special education teachers, which truly sets them apart. Their knowledge, patience, and individualized approach have helped my daughter learn so much. She has learned her colors, ABCs, shapes, days of the week, counting, and so many other important skills while attending. What I appreciate most is that they combine professionalism with genuine compassion. They truly love and care for each child as if they were their own. The smaller class sizes and lower teacher-to-child ratios create a warm, home-like environment that helps children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. Their outdoor play area is also wonderful, with so much fun equipment that keeps the kids active and engaged. A special thank you to Ms. Elisa, who is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is compassionate, professional, energetic, loving, and incredibly caring. I always joke with her that I wish I could record my daughter at pick-up because she cries when it's time to leave--that's how much she loves being there! As a parent, there is no greater reassurance than knowing your child is genuinely happy and excited to go to daycare every day. The daily schedule is thoughtfully planned with a great balance of learning and fun, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, story time, and other hands-on activities. They also offer enrichment programs like gymnastics and music, which have been a wonderful addition. My son has been attending since August 2024, and the progress he's made has been amazing. He's become more confident, more social, and has learned so many new skills. Most importantly, he looks forward to going each day, which gives me great peace of mind. When I raised this concern, communication was limited and my concerns were not fully understood or addressed. Within the first 10-15 minutes of arrival, while my daughter was understandably unsettled--as many children are during their first transition--the provider concluded that "it wasn't going to work" and asked us to leave, without making any meaningful effort to support her adjustment. This response felt premature, unprofessional, and lacking in basic understanding of child development and settling-in practices. A more supportive, patient, and communicative approach would be expected in a childcare setting. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that standard.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this KinderCare location and how this situation…read morehas been handled. My son was supposed to possibly start at this center, but he NEVER attended a single day. I never turned in an enrollment packet and I never paid a registration or holding fee. Due to a change in my work situation, he did not end up enrolling at this location at all. Despite this, I am now being charged nearly $2,000 for a "held spot." I was never emailed, mailed, or directly notified of any bill -- the only place I saw these charges was RECENTLY and silently appearing in the app. Months later, they are still adding weekly late fees to a balance that was never properly disclosed to me. When I called to resolve the issue, the director Sarah told me I "didn't communicate." That is not true. If the center believed I had not been communicating, why did they claim they held my child's spot for "weeks"? Those two statements contradict each other and make no sense together. She was also extremely rude and dismissive. This disputed balance is now affecting my son's current school (also KinderCare), preventing him from attending--even though this charge is for a school he never attended. Charging a family thousands of dollars without a signed enrollment agreement, without a registration fee, without attendance, and without proper billing notice is unacceptable. I strongly advise parents to get everything in writing and be cautious with how billing and "held spot" policies are enforced here.
