He is always extremely happy when being dropped off and picked up. His development in the past year has been great. The Tahmasebi Family Daycare is a great environment. They have multiple play areas for the children with lots of educational toys and posters for all the children to interact with. My son always comes home with art projects, and many new things he learns that day. They even have a nice backyard area where he has fun playing. Nasrin always gives a full detailed report upon pick up time with what he ate, nap schedules, how he has been feeling and interacting with the other kids. The toddler teachers Maritza and Libby are so amazing and are the perfect duo for the transition from baby to toddler. At 2 he transitioned to the Junior Preschool class and has flourished since. He loves circle time, doing yoga, all the art projects and outside time. The entire JPS team is amazing and we've loved being with Maria and Gloria. Everyone you pass in the hall knows your child's name and could tell you about what kind of day they are having. As a bilingual child, we have seen a huge improvement in her English, but even more importantly, we have watched her become more confident, independent, and comfortable expressing herself. One of the things we love most about the school is the amount of outdoor and unstructured play. It is so refreshing to see children encouraged to be children. Watching them play in the mud kitchen, collect rocks, search for worms and frogs, and explore nature has been wonderful. The teachers don't take over their play--they observe, listen, and step in only when needed. Because of this, our daughter has learned how to communicate with her friends, work through small disagreements, create her own games, and build confidence in her own ideas. The teachers are incredible. Communication has always been easy, and I am constantly impressed by how well they know each child. It feels like they truly see and understand who your child is, even in a short amount of time. The learning experiences are thoughtful and engaging. This year, the children watched chicks hatch and followed their journey in the classroom, which was absolutely fascinating. Our daughter would come home excited to tell us about what she had learned. I also have to mention the events and celebrations. The amount of care and attention that goes into creating meaningful memories for the children and families is something really special. Whether it was Mother's Day, Father's Day, or the Christmas musical, every event felt heartfelt and memorable. Seeing our little girl on stage during the Christmas performance is a memory I will cherish forever. The parent-teacher conferences are also incredibly thoughtful and well organized. We always left feeling informed, supported, and reassured. The teachers take the time to discuss your child's progress in detail and answer every question with care and honesty.
